The surrounding environment suddenly changed again.
Nan Song came back to his senses and saw the silk hanging around him. He suddenly thought of how many people had died and were tied to these luxurious things.
Lu Nanyao still had that smiling expression on her face. She moved forward a few times, but suddenly jumped off the bed, pushed aside the precious bedding on the bed, and knocked on the bed board.
"What's wrong?" Nan Song was a little confused, and he imitated her and pushed the quilt under her away.
"I think there should be a secret passage down there." Lu Nanyao raised her head and curled the corners of her mouth. A white light appeared on her body, and the next moment a crystal clear sword appeared in her hand.
She thrust her hand heavily into the gap and pushed it upwards, only to see the entire wooden board opened up, revealing a dark passage.
"Let's go down and take a look." She looked up at Nansong again. Nansong was a little confused, so he nodded, and Lu Nanyao turned over and jumped down.
Seeing that she actually jumped down, Nan Song had no choice but to pick up the candle next to her, take a deep breath, and step into the dark secret passage.
The milky white light on Lu Nanyao in front of her did not disappear, and she just put the crystal clear sword in her hand behind her.
Nansong touched the wall and immediately felt the intricate carvings. They were incredibly three-dimensional. She brought the candlelight closer, revealing what looked like a mass of silk thread, tangled into various shapes, even a house.
Unlike what she had imagined, these carvings did not bring her any sense of beauty. Instead, they made her feel greasy and uncomfortable as soon as she started working with them.
The dark passage was filled with a stale smell, mixed with a hint of dampness and decay. Nan Song walked forward cautiously. The ground beneath her feet was a little damp, making her steps a little unsteady. She could only lean against the wall and slowly grope her way forward.
As she went deeper, the dim candlelight above made the light in the dark passage increasingly dim, almost pitch black. The only thing she could see was the white light on Lu Nanyao's body and the candlelight in her hand.
Unfortunately, the area that can be photographed is still too small, and Lu Nanyao in front seems to be not very interested in these scenes and doesn't even look at them. This is very strange.
Nansong's heartbeat began to accelerate. She had no idea where this secret passage would lead to, nor what awaited her ahead. The candlelight only allowed her to make out a portion of the strange scene around her. The general content was as follows:
Some people prayed to the sky, but the sky did not answer; they prayed to the earth, but the earth did not answer; finally, they were left with no other options and jumped off a cliff. However, this jump did not cause any harm, as they actually found a way to make a fortune. The monster-like mycelium turned into all kinds of rare treasures, and in the end, countless people stood on these treasures with their heads held high, trying to compare themselves to the sky. Just looking at them, they felt that they were full of energy and had a bright future.
It was a little blurry, but it seemed that in the end, the place where countless gold, silver and jewels were placed turned into a mass grave. Above the mass grave, countless hyphae began to surge and turned into a magnificent house. Suddenly, a man discovered it. He rushed in without any scruples, and then he took his wife and daughter in, and suddenly became a man who could call the wind and rain.
It didn't make sense, but it seemed to be changing like that. But what did this have to do with the mission? Nansong was speechless.
Suddenly, she felt something trip her. She stumbled and almost fell to the ground. She looked down and saw a dark object on the ground. It looked like a stone. She picked up the stone and looked at it carefully. She found some strange patterns carved on it.
A gust of wind suddenly blew from somewhere in the corridor, and it was freezing cold. Nan Song swallowed her saliva, slowly squatted down, and put the candle closer. There were traces of burns everywhere on the ground, and some dark signs of crawling. She stood up again suddenly.
Nansong felt a strange fear well up in her heart. She didn't know what these carvings and stones meant. She quickened her pace, hoping to get out of this secret passage as quickly as possible.
However, the secret passage seemed to have no end. She walked for a long time but still saw no sign of an exit.
Because she had wasted some time looking at the sculpture before, Lu Nanyao disappeared without noticing, but she couldn't stop looking at the sculpture just because the person disappeared. This was simply unbearable.
Just as Nansong was feeling incredibly overwhelmed, she suddenly saw a faint ray of light ahead. This ray of light seemed like a ray of hope in the darkness, and a surge of joy welled up in her heart. She immediately quickened her pace and ran towards the light.
Luckily, she finally escaped from the secret passage. Instead of an illusion, she found herself in an unfamiliar place. It was a huge cave filled with a mysterious atmosphere. The strange wind seemed to be coming from there.
Nansong looked around and found that the walls of the cave were covered with exquisite carvings, which were more complex and exquisite than those in the secret passage. These carvings showed an ancient and mysterious cultural heritage, which made people marvel at it.
Nansong was filled with doubts. She didn't know where she was. What kind of cave was this? Why were there so many carvings?
There was a round table in the center of the cave. Lu Nanyao sat not far from the table, staring at the murals. Above the table was a large hemispherical object, emitting a pale golden light. This object looked like some kind of mysterious treasure, but Nansong had no idea what it was used for.
The cave is covered in murals, but in the center stands an exquisitely carved round table, surrounded by several screens, each depicting a variety of animals. These screens divide the space into several areas, each with a different atmosphere and feel.
