Blore walked around a few trees and ran straight towards the figure. There were white mycelium hanging in the bushes, which made people feel uneasy.
There was indeed a person lying in the pool not far ahead. When Blore got closer, he was immediately shocked.
The color of her clothes, the shape of her shoes, the bag she was carrying—wasn't that Nansong? Why was she lying there? Where had the rest of them gone?
Without thinking too much, Blore quickly stepped forward and picked her up. He found that the back of her head had been hit by someone, and it was a little red and swollen, but the other party did not intend to kill her. It seemed that the hand only wanted to knock her unconscious.
Blore wailed in his heart, could it be those people who did this? But why?
I carried Nansong on my back and waded through the pond, not knowing what was going on.
When they arrived at the place where the three people were leaning against the tree, Blore put Nansong on the stone. No one had any extra clothes at the moment, so they had to make do with this for now. When Nansong woke up, he could dry his and everyone else's clothes.
After a simple bandage, Blore stood up and walked towards the coffin.
It is somewhat similar to the Ten-Direction Coffin in his spiritual image, but it is only in appearance. There is no comparison in the details.
The coffin looked normal from a distance, but when you got closer, it seemed bigger than the one in the illusion just now.
There is a huge carving on it that looks like a dragon and a snake, crawling all over the coffin. I wonder if it is the same as the one in the illusion, which is full of strange mycelium.
After hesitating for a moment, Blore decided to open it. He walked to the side and was about to push it hard to try, when he saw Lu'e rubbing her head and standing up out of the corner of his eye.
Someone woke up!
As soon as Lu'e opened her eyes, she saw Blore. She looked around and slowly walked over.
"You're awake, quite early. Are you planning to get this open?"
As soon as he finished speaking, Ma Tuan, who was still unconscious, jumped up and quickly assumed a fighting stance.
Seeing Blore and Lu'e looking at him, he suddenly felt a little embarrassed.
He scratched his head and walked over.
"I saw something very strange. Half of it was black, half was white, and it was divided left and right. It was outrageous," he said to Blore.
"Are you black on the left and white on the right?" Green-Eye asked before Blore could speak.
"Ah, my left side is white and my right side is black." Ma Tuan was stunned for a moment, then he thought about it and answered seriously.
"Oh, then come over and push it together." Seeing this, Lu'e didn't ask any more questions.
"Uh, Blore, when did Nansong appear?" Ma Tuan also noticed Nansong.
"Sister Nan was hit on the back of her head. She should be unconscious now. I don't know much else." Blore answered honestly.
Ma Tuan had no other choice, so the three of them started pushing the coffin together.
I thought it would take some effort to push it open, but it turned out to be surprisingly easy.
Inside the coffin is a space filled with water. Perhaps because of the reflection of light and the color of the water, the water surface here appears to be an unusually deep green, giving people a bone-chilling feeling, as if it can penetrate the human soul.
By now, we should have reached the core of the forest. The surrounding trees are sparse but tall. Their crowns are intertwined, blocking the sky in this area. Even in the daytime, it is very dark here.
What's worse is that the ground is covered with shallow puddles everywhere, and occasionally some white mycelium can be seen hanging on the bushes, adding a bit of eerie atmosphere.
The three people put their heads close to the water. There seemed to be a Milky Way in the water, as if there was a vast ocean under the big bone box. It seemed that there was not only water in the bone coffin. It always felt like if they really went in, they would find themselves in an abyss.
"Ah, what's down there? Does it look like the place we just came in? Can we get back if we jump down?" Ma Tuan raised his hand and touched it. The water was so cold that it could freeze a person's bones.
"If we tear this down, do you think the water inside will flood the whole forest?" Blore looked up and began to think about this.
"Then give it a try. If this doesn't work, I have a special talisman. Anyway, there is a way out." Lu'e immediately expressed her support when she heard Blore's idea.
"Hey, there are still people who haven't woken up yet!" Ma Tuan hurriedly stopped the two people.
As they were talking, Nan Song and Bai Di woke up, holding their heads.
"Sister Nan, wake up. Why were you beaten?" Blore jumped over when he saw that the person woke up.
"What happened? I was beaten? How is that possible?" But the pain from the back of Nansong's head made her believe it.
"I saw two tribes fighting. It's so strange. I feel like the two tribes are quite far away from each other." Bai Di shook his head vigorously a few times. "But speaking of it, one of the tribes is quite interesting. There are many marine creatures and even mermaids."
"Mermaid?" Ma Tuan repeated in disbelief.
"What's wrong? Haven't you heard of it? That's impossible. It exists now. If you are curious, we can join a tour group to see it." Nan Song couldn't help teasing him when he saw how shocked he was.
Ma Tuan ignored her and turned to ask Bai Di, "What else is in there?"
Bai Di thought for a moment, "It seems they each have their own guardian deities. On the side with the mermaid, there seems to be a huge snow-white furry thing, but it's too big for me to see clearly. But on the other side are those white-haired soldiers. How should I put it? A bit like zombies. And then there's a lot of hyphae condensed into a human form, and it's hard to tell whether it's a man or a woman."
