Chapter 86: Snake Lake and Rare Treasures

The boat cut through the water, making a splashing sound. Maybe it was luck, the two of them arrived at the center of the lake unhindered.

"Why do I suddenly feel that the boat is a little deep in the water?" Blore stood up suddenly with great vigilance, and then Ma Tuan also became a little nervous.

Night fell over the tranquil lake. The surrounding trees swayed gently in the breeze, their shadows swaying on the water. Suddenly, some dark shadows appeared on the lake, twisting and wriggling as if they had life.

The shadows slowly approached the boat, which began to sink slightly, taking on more water. Blore's feeling was correct.

The shadows were getting closer and closer, and their shapes became clearer. It turned out that these shadows were a group of huge water snakes, their bodies twisting in the water and making hissing sounds.

"Damn, I felt like there was something here, but it came too quickly." Ma Tuan muttered softly.

Blore pulled him over and whispered something in his ear, then finally put something in his hand.

The black water snakes quickly surrounded the boat, approaching silently like ghosts before fiercely wrapping themselves around the side. These snakes were thick and powerful, tightly coiling around each other, making the boat unable to move at all. For a moment, the atmosphere on the boat became extremely tense.

Suddenly, a terrified scream shattered the eerie silence. However, the scream was quickly drowned out by the hissing of the water snake. It seemed as if the other people began to realize that they were facing not only the threat of the water snake, but also other unknown dangers.

"Who on earth is yelling? Blore and I haven't even opened our mouths..." Ma Tuan muttered to himself. He tried to remain calm and stole a glance at Blore, noticing he was sitting perfectly still. Perhaps it was the light, but Blore's expression didn't change.

As time went on, the screams grew louder, and the sound of people falling into the water continued to echo. The shadows of the surrounding trees began to shake violently, as if ghosts were stalking. Even more terrifying was the feeling that countless figures seemed to be standing at the edge of the forest, silently observing the farce.

At this moment, Blore's words echoed in Ma Tuan's ears again: "Just throw it in when the time comes!" This sentence seemed to give Ma Tuan a reassurance. He held the small thing tightly in his hand, ready to deal with the next crisis.

At this moment, the snakes formed a huge whirlpool under the boat, and the entire lake surface began to boil like a pot of boiling black water.

Looking at the scene before him, Ma Tuan could only sigh helplessly: "It's good enough that there is no miasma. People can't be greedy."

As the vortex's speed continued to accelerate, the dilapidated boat began to shake violently under the influence of the vortex. It was as if it was grabbed by an invisible hand, and it kept tossing up and down on the water, as if it might capsize at any time.

At some point, the moon emerged from behind the clouds. It hung high in the sky, emitting a cool, clear light. Its surface seemed covered in a light purple veil, filling the entire sky with a mysterious atmosphere.

Moonlight streamed across the lake like water, illuminating everything around them. However, even the presence of light couldn't stop the snakes' frenzied behavior. They continued to twist and entwine, biting their companions' tails even more frantically, as if they were in an uncontrollable frenzy.

From above, the snakes formed a perfect loop, connected end to end, like an inverted Arabic numeral 8. The boat Blore and Matuan were aboard sat perfectly at the center of this loop, the core of the vortex. The lake's surface was churning like boiling water.

Blore stared at his stopwatch, the seconds ticking by. When the second hand hit the designated moment, he and Ma Tuan exchanged a glance, and then they both simultaneously hurled the zombie fang downwards. It arced through the night sky and landed unerringly among the snakes.

The tightly coiled swarm of snakes suddenly unfurled, as if pushed apart by a powerful force. The boat lost its support and plummeted into the water. Blore and Ma Tuan followed suit, but they didn't panic. Instead, they followed the current and dove underwater.

The water was incredibly cold, bitingly cold, and Blore felt a chill run down his spine. But he didn't stop, and continued swimming forward. Under the water, he discovered something strange.

The water plants on the lake bottom swayed, emitting a faint light like twinkling stars. Small fish darted among them, their scales reflecting a rainbow of colors. These strange sights were a novelty to Blore.

But all the scenes were fleeting. There was a small wooden door at the bottom of the lake. Ma Tuan signaled Blore to pay attention to it with his eyes. He thought Blore would give him an affirmative look, but Blore pointed behind him with some surprise.

At this moment, cold sweat broke out. The two of them were moving too fast under the influence of the water. Just as he was about to turn around, a hand was placed on his shoulder.

Ma Tuan saw that Blore's expression changed immediately, and he seemed to want to swim over, but the water resistance was too great for him to get through. Moreover, in the water, Blore had to rely on his pearl to breathe, but he could only breathe and open his eyes. He could not speak in the water.

He took a deep breath, tightly grasped the tooth he had just thrown away in his hand, and suddenly turned his head back and the tooth fell down.

It's sesame balls!

Now, even with the mask on, Ma Tuan could feel his aggrieved mood.
