Chapter 39: Strange People and Black and White Hidden Model

Blore could feel the chill growing around him, and he shuddered.

"Nansong! Ma Tuan! Bai Di! Where are you?"

Blore shouted several times, but there was no response except an echo.

He felt a wave of panic and continued to yell out his friends' names.

However, at this moment, he discovered that his voice actually caused changes in the surrounding environment.

He saw that as he spoke, the black lines around him began to surge wildly, as if something was gestating.

These black lines seemed to have life and spread rapidly, filling the entire space with a strange atmosphere.

Blore's eyes widened, a sense of inexplicable fear welling up in his heart. Why could he suddenly see the black line again? He hadn't even seen the castle that Nansong and the others had mentioned before. Could this be the castle's true appearance?

Just as Blore was in a state of panic, a slightly hoarse voice suddenly came into his ears: "Little boy, why are you here alone?"

Blore turned his head sharply and saw a figure slowly coming down the stairs.

He was a tall and imposing man, but he wore a hat so low that it almost covered his entire face, making it impossible to see his features. His steps were graceful and calm, and each step seemed particularly steady.

However, when he reached Blore, his graceful composure was instantly broken, and he suddenly burst into a series of raspy laughter that made Blore's hair stand on end.

“Hahahahahahahahaha…”

“Hahahahahahahahaha…”

The laughter echoed throughout the space, intertwined with the surging black lines around it, forming an extremely strange picture. Blore stared at this mysterious man, trying to find some clues from him.

But the other party didn't seem to care about Blore's gaze. He just smiled to himself, completely immersed in his own world.

"Um... hello, uncle?"

Although I feel very good, I am still a person after all!

"Hello!" Blore greeted the other party tentatively.

The man opposite stopped laughing immediately, but then burst into even more enthusiastic and wild laughter.

Blore looked bewildered, not knowing why the man was laughing so crazily. But he seemed to hear the roar of some animal.

“Hmm…” The man finally stopped laughing, a smile still on his face, “In this space, I have only met one person.”

Blore was even more puzzled.

The man continued, "I'm sorry, I've been alone here the whole time. Oh, no, there was someone else, so I lost my composure just now. Sorry."

"Uh...never mind?" Blore looked bewildered, completely confused.

What on earth does this man mean?

"I didn't expect that there would be people coming here, and so many of them at once. Well, let me count how many unlucky guys fell down... one, two, three, four, haha, four!" The man suddenly seemed extremely excited.

"Oh, by the way, you can call me Bei Teng. I don't like the name that guy gave me." The man began to mutter again.

Blore couldn't get a word in, and could only stare blankly at this strange man talking to himself.

"Oh, you are the lucky one, little brat. Hey! What's wrong with your eyes?" The man suddenly came up to him, grabbed him and lifted him up.

Blore was still a teenager, but the man in front of him was at least 190cm tall, tall and strong.

Although Blore was not heavy, the heavy chains on him posed a significant challenge to the man. He struggled to lift Blore up with both hands.

Blore looked confused and couldn't help wondering: This person... should be okay?

He remembered that Ma Tuan had "carefully warned" him before that if someone suddenly picked you up and ran away on the street, you must shout "Mom" loudly so that someone will come to rescue you.

Although he didn't quite understand the reason, considering his own weight plus the weight of the chain, it was impossible for an ordinary person to do this easily.

However, today he actually encountered this situation. Although the other party did not carry him away, he just stared at him.

The strange thing was that although the man did not lift the brim of his hat, Blore had a strong sense of being stared at, as if the man's eyes penetrated the brim of his hat and stared straight at him.

"Um, big brother... we don't know each other, right?"

Blore thought his voice sounded vaguely familiar, but he couldn't place it.

"Oh~ I'm a little excited. After all, besides him and I, I haven't seen anyone else here."

The man apologized to himself, but still didn't let the man go.

This is two people staring at each other in the air.

"Uh, um, what's wrong with me?"

Blore felt the atmosphere was strange, and he turned his eyes away, only to find that the twisting and crawling black lines had disappeared long ago, and the castle had suddenly changed its appearance.

In a dark and dilapidated castle, a mysterious light suddenly penetrated the ruined walls. As the light gradually grew stronger, the castle began to undergo wonderful changes.

The dilapidated stone walls suddenly became as smooth as mirrors, reflecting the dazzling light. The floor was covered with gorgeous carpets embroidered with exquisite patterns, which complemented the gorgeous tapestries on the walls.

Dazzling crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling, emitting a warm and bright light that illuminated the entire hall. Exquisite carvings and gorgeous decorations filled every corner, and the ancient furniture also shone with new splendor.
