Chapter 46 Two dragon skulls?

"What do you think those things in front are?" Nansong and Matuan searched around here, but unfortunately found nothing.

"I'm not sure. Do you think they will come here on their own? After all, this place feels... you know." Ma Tuan came closer to her.

"I don't understand." Nan Song only replied with three words.

"I really don't understand at all. I recognize the dragon drawn on it, but what are these winding... tentacles?" Ma Tuan felt that Nan Song would get angry if he said anything more, so he quickly changed the subject.

Nan Song's attention was indeed attracted. She walked over and looked at the tall stone tablets. The stone tablets formed a huge circle, as if something was trapped inside. Although they were extremely huge, each stone tablet fit together tightly without any gaps.

"You are talking about what we saw in the picture before. If, I say, if Hermes really asked the divine beast to borrow power, then what was the price he paid? The divine beast is already dead, so what is the divine beast's greatest wish?" Nan Song touched the exquisite carvings on it and turned his head to say to Ma Tuan next to him.

In fact, Nansong didn't expect Matuan to say anything, but the next second an answer popped into her mind.

"resurrection!"

"eternal life!"

The two of them said it almost at the same moment.

"I think it's possible. Hermes used that forbidden book, and perhaps he glimpsed the true meaning of immortality. By chance, he encountered the divine beast. The beast's age wasn't enough to sustain it for long. Perhaps he discovered something and bewitched the beast into signing a contract..."

His thoughts became increasingly divergent, and he began to engage in conspiracy theories.

Nansong wondered how a mythical beast that had lived for tens of thousands of years could be so easily deceived. Ma Tuan was once again speculating about humans with the utmost malice. She really didn't understand what was wrong with him.

"Why don't you think about it? What if it was a divine beast that bewitched Hermes? After thousands and thousands of years, it would be easy to bewitch a human being, right?" Nan Song looked at him sideways.

"Well, it's possible, but I don't think it's very likely." Ma Tuan was stunned for a moment, then immediately refuted.

Nansong didn't want to argue with him about this issue, so he just walked away, leaving Ma Tuan alone there to continue worrying about the problem.

Bai Di got up from the ground alone and wanted to look around this mysterious area.

He still remembered the things he had before he fell into a coma, and subconsciously reached out his hand to take a look, but the golden stone was gone.

Where was Blore? He remembered that he had fallen behind him, how come he was awake but Blore was still asleep.

He was about to take two steps to find Blore, but his feet gave way.

What he saw was a massive dragon-shaped skull, its hollow eye sockets gazing into the endless void, emitting an ancient and majestic aura. He couldn't help but turn his head and look around, only to find himself in a vast forest of stone tablets, scattered in an orderly fashion, like an ancient cemetery.

The ground beneath his feet felt soft but not sinking. He looked down and saw it was paved with soft crystal stone. This unique stone felt as soft as velvet, yet incredibly tough, capable of bearing a person's weight. He stepped lightly on it, feeling the subtle elasticity, and a strange feeling welled up in his heart.

Sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting dappled shadows on the stone tablets and soft crystals. A gentle breeze rustled the leaves, as if telling an ancient story. He stood there quietly, immersed in this mysterious and tranquil atmosphere, feeling the sedimentation of history and the passage of time.

In this forest of stone tablets, he seemed to be in a secluded world, far away from the hustle and bustle of the world. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and controlled his body. He still had to find that confused Blore.

The illusions here came one after another, and he could hardly tell them apart.

When he reached the dragon bone, he realized it was a massive dragon skull. It stood tall and straight, almost as tall as the nearby stone barrier. Furthermore, the bones of the dragon skull were so delicate, like jade carvings, with faint traces of green.

It might be moss, so he didn't pay much attention to it. The bone seemed to have not experienced any wind or rain, and still maintained its perfect shape.

Blore huddled inside the giant dragon skull, his body looking so small.

"Blore!"

Bai Di saw him at a glance and shouted a few times, trying to wake him up.

Blore heard someone calling him in a daze. He struggled to open his eyes, but found that the things in front of him had become blurred again, almost in the shape of a mosaic.

Seeing that he hadn't moved for a long time, Bai Di made up his mind and simply grabbed the skull and started shaking it. He had no idea how Blore got in, so how was he going to get out now?

Blore's head was dazed and his stomach was churning. He groaned uncomfortably and finally regained some consciousness.

"Stop shaking it... I'm going to throw up..." Blore said weakly.

Bai Di immediately stopped what he was doing and asked anxiously, "How are you? Can you get out by yourself?"

Blore rubbed his eyes, trying to clear his vision, then looked at Bai Di and said helplessly: "I don't know... I seem to be trapped..."

Bai Di frowned, feeling a little worried. He carefully examined the dragon skull, trying to find some clues, but found nothing.

"We must find a way to get you out." Bai Di said.

Blore nodded and tried to move his body, trying to climb out, but seemed to be stuck on something.
