Chapter 65 New Mission and a Space Full of Silk

Everywhere you look, there are quirky little stalls and adorable little houses. Their placement is completely random, yet creates a unique aesthetic. Each stall sells a variety of bizarre items, including glowing stones, flying butterflies, and colorful candies, leaving you with a dazzling array of sights.

Those little houses are like castles in fairy tales. Some have red roofs, some have blue walls, and some have round windows. Every detail is full of imagination.

The four of them walked on the relatively clean narrow road, the cobblestones under their feet making crisp sounds. As they walked, they looked around curiously.

In the distance, there seems to be a huge round table, which is filled with various kinds of mushrooms. The colors are bright and colorful, red, yellow, green, purple... like a beautiful painting.

"I give up. Do you think that mushroom is poisonous?" Ma Tuan couldn't help but ask. His hair was tangled up in a mess, making him look a bit disheveled. Because he didn't have scissors, he had to use a knife to cut it briefly. Now he wanted to have a short haircut, but it looked very strange. He had to pin all the hair on his forehead behind the mask.

"I think so. How about we find a place to rest for a while before going in? The table is so big, I don't think it is enough for the four of us." Nan Song just tied up her hair which had suddenly grown longer. She didn't want to look like Ma Tuan and make herself uglier.

"Well, let's go and rest for a while." Blore skipped forward. He followed Bai Di's advice and decided to let professionals do professional things. He would find a barber to cut his hair after he got out. As for now, he chose a thinner chain and tied up his hair.

The surroundings were bustling with people, and the market was chaotic yet orderly.

Whenever four people walked by, Bai Di found that those people stared at them with the same obsessive eyes as the shop owner until they left.

"Those people are so weird, no, they are not human at all." Ma Tuan complained quietly.

"I didn't expect that the first time in my life I would encounter such a gaze, it would be from a monster." Nan Song also expressed helplessness.

"Ugly ghost." Bai Di didn't want to talk more.

"Be a human being, at least. The owner just said there were three times, and we've already passed once. What are we going to do next time?" asked Blore.

"Let's choose that big round table. The owner just now has nothing to do with what we experienced. God knows what we will encounter." Nan Song raised his head.

"Okay, let's see which one is the most grand. The rest of the stalls are all small and not as grand." Ma Tuan agreed.

"Then let's go." Bai Di said it didn't matter. After coming out of that place, he felt that all the mental energy he had consumed had been restored and there was no impact.

"Well, let's go take our place then." Blore ran and jumped.

In the middle of the road, a huge round table stood out, like a mysterious island. Made of wood that shone with a pale golden light, it exuded a warm and strange atmosphere.

The round table was filled with a variety of mushrooms, meticulously arranged on exquisite plates, like works of art. Some were small and delicate, as round as pearls; others were enormous, like blooming flowers. Their colors were a riot of color: bright red, golden, emerald green, and even mysterious purple and blue. They intertwined to form a brilliant and colorful painting.

Surrounding the round table were several exquisite screens. Embroidered with a variety of designs, some depicting flowers, birds, insects, and fish, others depicting landscapes and figures, each one vividly depicting a story from ancient times. The screens were also made of high-quality silk, its sheen shimmering in the sunlight, adding a touch of luxury and elegance to the entire scene.

I couldn't see it clearly just now, but now that the four people are closer, I can see it clearly. There is a small stall next to it. The curtain was suddenly lifted, and Cyclamen walked out slowly from inside.

When he saw the four people, he looked very happy and slowly raised his hand to greet everyone.

The remaining three people walked out with unhappy expressions. When they saw the four people coming towards them, Jiu Yizhi and Lu Nanyao had strange expressions. Only Lu'e had no expression, as if everything was as expected.

"Here you come! Welcome, welcome!" A girl in a light yellow dress lifted the curtain and walked out. The facial features looked like they were painted on, and her expression did not change at all. "These four will also participate in our event. They have been looking forward to it for a long time." She said and applauded.

There was a faint sense of resentment among the people around them, all looking at the four people.

"These people are really weird. They want us to participate in their activities, but they don't say anything and just wait for us to choose. It's so funny. This place doesn't even give us human rights. I'm speechless." Ma Tuan said speechlessly.

"Oh, we're just passing by and taking a look." Nan Song pinched him and turned to the girl.

The girl said "Oh" in disappointment, but she immediately said, "Then the four of them may have to wait a little longer, because this table can seat eight people." After that, she smiled and turned her gaze to the four people.

Nan Song was a little confused and asked Bai Di in a low voice: "What should we do? Should we go up? Will too many people make the mission more difficult to complete?" Nan Song didn't know much about these things, so he could only ask Bai Di for his opinion.

Bai Di lowered his voice and replied, "I think the more people there are, the more important the mission might be. In that case, we might as well choose this mission."
