But this time when she opened her eyes, she saw three big faces.
But I didn't have time to take a closer look.
At the same time, she felt a dull pain in her heart, which made her burst into tears and she couldn't see clearly.
Then, then she heard Blore yelling:
"Bai Di Ma Tuan, the face merged into Sister Nan's face!!"
"Shut up!!"
Nan Song then heard Bai Di's voice.
She felt like she had used up all the strength in her life.
"Hurry up...save them!"
She felt like she was using all her strength, but in reality, her breath was so weak that her voice was so faint that she couldn't hear it unless she was close to her.
But the other three are not ordinary people either.
"Oh my god!! Sister Nan!! You you you!!"
Blore jumped up.
Ma Tuan and Bai Di looked at each other.
A black iron spear tore through the strange scarlet sky and penetrated into the earth.
The scorched earth in the center trembled under the piercing rain, and strange blue-green flames surged between the cracks in the cracked surface - they flowed like liquid will-o'-the-wisp, clearly spitting out tongues of fire but emitting a biting chill.
The newly grown body of the southern cabbage was wriggling on this dead scorched earth. It was a tumor-like creature composed of eyeballs and blood vessels, and every inch of its skin was inlaid with densely packed pupils.
In the 360-degree no-blind-angle vision, the world is cut into countless pieces.
Above her head were rolling asphalt-colored clouds, with dark red flames trailing from her spears weaving through them; beneath her feet was a network of magma like breathing ice-cracked porcelain, and every pulsation caused more eyeballs to proliferate from her body.
Thousands of pupils contracted simultaneously, reflecting the cursed inscription wrapped around the gun's body. This time, the penetration was like a blunt knife scratching through tree bark, with only a dull friction sound echoing among countless eyeballs.
Crystallized dead trees stood at the edge of the scorched earth, and the frost fire hanging between the branches burned the space into distorted ripples.
Nan Song suddenly realized that those were not flames, but solidified screams, and in each flame there was a human mouth frozen as wide open as possible.
This realization made all her eyes spin wildly, and the black and red wasteland in her vision began to spin. The temperatureless magma suddenly stretched out its translucent palms and swayed towards her in the hurricane created by the forest of guns.
What the hell is this place?
She shouted in her heart.
She shouted silently at this moment.
Blore had never seen such an out-of-character scene before, and his breath froze in his throat.
The so-called "magma" before his eyes emitted a cold blue light, without a trace of heat. Instead, it sent a biting chill deep into his bones.
He subconsciously took two steps back, and the soles of his boots stepped on the illusory surface of the magma, splashing a few drops of silver-gray liquid - that thing condensed into beads in the air like mercury, and then slowly fell.
"What the hell is this place..."
Blore's voice caught in his throat.
He couldn't take his eyes off the twisted figure on the scorched earth in the center.
The spine of Nansong—if it could still be called Nansong—had an impossible curvature, like a steel bar forcibly bent by an invisible hand.
Something was wriggling under her skin, sometimes bulging and sometimes sunken, as if countless snakes were crawling under her skin.
Ma Tuan suddenly patted Blore and Bai Di.
Blore looked in the direction of his trembling fingers and saw that Nansong's right hand was melting.
Not melting in a metaphorical sense, but literally dripping like a candle, flesh and bones turning into a sticky black liquid and falling into the scorched earth.
But what was even more terrifying was that after the liquid landed on the ground, it immediately grew dense tentacles and began to wriggle autonomously like some deep-sea creature.
"It's not cabbage anymore, and it's unlikely to be."
Bai Di's voice was surprisingly calm, but Blore saw that his knuckles were white as he grabbed his clothes.
"Look at its shadow."
Only then did Blore notice that under the illumination of the dark green halo, the shadow cast by Nansong on the ground was not human-shaped at all.
The shadow sometimes swelled into a multi-legged monster, sometimes shrank into a thorny sphere. The most terrifying thing was the constantly changing outlines of the organs on the shadow's head - sometimes it was a compound eye, sometimes a mouthpart, and sometimes it was a strange structure that could not be named at all.
The scorched earth suddenly shook violently, forcing Blore to drop to one knee to maintain his balance.
Those dark green light circles multiplied in the air like viruses, and twisted runes emerged inside each light circle.
Nansong—or rather, the monster that occupied Nansong's body—suddenly raised its liquefying head.
Its eyes had completely transformed into two dancing green flames.
"Soul-calming..."
The sound that came out of its torn mouth was like the chorus of thousands of people, with a creepy echo.
Blore saw Nansong's remaining left hand make a complex gesture in the air, and in an instant, all the chains in the space came alive.
Those rusty chains were like giant pythons that had been awakened, and the chains rubbed against each other, making a harsh metallic whine.
Blore immediately noticed that the rusty surface of the chain was peeling away, revealing the dark red flesh underneath.
What’s even more terrifying is that tiny tentacles have evolved from the end of each chain, exploring the air like the tongue of a snake with a keen sense of smell.
"Back off! Back off quickly!"
Blore dragged the ball towards the exit, but found that the broken chains had formed an impenetrable net.
The pulsating rhythm of the chain-web reminded Blore of the coronary arteries of the heart he had seen in anatomy class—the regular pulsation of life.
Ma Tuan suddenly grabbed Blore's arm: "Blore... look at the way those chains are connected..."
