Chapter 40 Golden Rain and White Rain of Fallen Leaves

"What was that? It just flew past?" Ma Tuan turned to look at Nan Song with a puzzled look on his face.

"Don't ask me." Nan Song frowned, bewildered. "It's so strange here, could there be a meteor?"

Bai Di narrowed his eyes, revealing a hint of vigilance and curiosity.

Suddenly, his figure became illusory, like a phantom. The next moment, he disappeared from the spot.

However, not long after, he appeared at the edge of the black and white sesame cloud again and was bounced back at an extremely fast speed.

He hurriedly steadied himself, but was still knocked about ten meters away by the powerful force.

"Hey!" Nan Song was about to speak out to stop Bai Di when he saw him disappear, but he saw that he had been bounced out.

Because with the violent vibration of space, the black and white clouds began to merge with each other, so the space under their feet became extremely wide and boundless.

When Ma Tuan saw Bai Di being bounced away, he immediately jumped up exaggeratedly and shouted in a voice that couldn't be more fake: "Oh my, how could this happen!" Then, he immediately ran towards Bai Di happily.

Nanger seemed to be completely oblivious to the farce, his eyes fixed on Siger the entire time, as if he was thinking about something important.

Siger sat quietly on the clouds, as if time had stopped. His body did not move at all, but his skin was a frighteningly pale color, like a lifeless corpse.

His eyes became extremely terrifying. His originally black pupils had now turned golden and split into eight parts, crowded in the slender eye sockets, trembling constantly, giving people a weird and terrifying feeling.

The shape of his face also changed dramatically, becoming broad and flat, completely different from his previous appearance, making it difficult to recognize him.

Sharp nails extended from his fingertips, like the claws of a devil, flashing with cold light. His hair turned as pale as snow, like strands of silver silk, fluttering in the wind, adding a bit of weird and mysterious atmosphere.

His figure gradually became blurred, no longer resembling a normal human being, but became distorted and weird, as if from another world.

"Can't you...see?"

Nanger stared at Sige for a long time, then suddenly raised his head and turned to Nansong.

"Huh? What?"

Nansong's attention was focused on Ma Tuan striding forward with the skeleton man Zhima Wan on his back, and Bai Di trying to try again. When she heard Nanger calling her, she turned around suddenly.

"Have you seen Sig? Or rather, have you seen him?"

Nanger's tone suddenly became heavier, and his finger pointed firmly at where Sige was.

"Ah? Ah!"

Nan Song was frightened by the sudden scene in front of him and couldn't help but scream.

She opened her eyes wide and looked in the direction of Sige with horror, unable to believe what she saw.

How could this happen? Is this really Sige? Why didn't I have any impression of him before? From what Nangel said, was Sige always with them? How did it become like this?

Her mind went blank for a moment and she looked panicked, but she quickly calmed down.

She frowned and looked at Nangel.

"You all seem to have lost sight of him..."

Nanger didn't explain anything to her. Her tall and strong figure suddenly seemed to be several inches shorter and visibly decadent.

Nanger slowly moved to Sige's side, and seeing that he didn't react at all, he sat down next to him.

"It's really strange. Why didn't I notice him before... No, I saw him at the castle entrance..."

Nan Song didn't get his answer, so he had to frown and recall carefully.

The space is shrouded in a gloomy gray, as if shrouded in a mysterious veil. Both the ground and the sky are dark gray, creating a sense of oppression. The clouds resemble patches of black and white sesame grassland, but they are not soft clouds; they are solid matter.

Blore struggled to his feet, the chains on his shoulders rubbing painfully.

He tried to open his eyes, but found that his vision was still blurry. Compared with the complete blindness before, he could at least see some outlines now, which made him feel a little relieved.

"I'm lucky. Although I can't see clearly, it's better than seeing nothing at all."

Blore consoled himself. However, his surroundings felt unfamiliar and filled with doubt. What on earth was this place? Why was it so empty?

He listened carefully and seemed to hear the sound of dripping water and the whistling wind.

Suddenly, there was a loud thud and Blore felt something hit him on the top of his head.

Because of his blurred vision, he couldn't see exactly what the object was, so he could only reach out and feel around. When he touched something small and hard, curiosity welled up in his heart.

At the same time, Ma Tuan and Bai Di stood at the edge of the clouds. They could not step out of the clouds and could only watch anxiously as Blore got up from the ground.

Ma Tuan was sharp-eyed and suddenly saw golden things falling from the sky, and more and more of them appeared, soon forming a crackling scene.

"Blore, pick it up! Pick up more, maybe you'll get rich!!"

Although I'm not sure what it is, it's golden at least, so maybe it is.

Bai Di saw clearly that so many things had fallen. Combined with Ma Tuan's reaction, he could guess what Ma Tuan had guessed just by thinking with his feet.

Looking at Ma Tuan again, he looked so disappointed in his friend that he wished he could travel to Blore and become the person involved.
