Chapter 34 Loving You! The moment I joined the group, special effects rained down on me...

As soon as he entered the group, the sound of special effects hitting him suddenly rang out, and the green health bar above his head also dropped sharply. Ning Buyi relied on a purification immunity control to crawl out.

After narrowly escaping death, his health bar was almost empty, but then suddenly it rose by one bar. Ning Buyi looked at the medicine he hadn't taken yet and pondered, "Is the game bugged?"

“You brat! Come quick!” Jingjing’s voice rang out in his earpiece. Ning Buyi looked around but couldn’t find the source of the voice.

“In the grass in your upper right corner!” Ning Buyi outside seemed like a headless fly, and Jingjing added.

He successfully received the brainwave and acted according to the prompts. He stepped into the grass with one foot, where many people were squatting. He tried to pull his outstretched foot back. One, two, three, now there were four including him.

Ning Buyi squatted down as he listened to the words. A blurry image covered the screen, and he watched the battle in the distance through the gaps.

Are we safe here?

Guoguo replied softly, "It's safe. No one will hear you even if you shout here."

Ning Buyi also chimed in, "Then why do we have to speak so quietly?"

"I'm afraid others will hear."

By this time, the boundary of the safe zone had extended to the edge of the grass. Several people dared not breathe loudly in the grass, fearing they would be used as targets for firearms. The electronic smoke in the distance gradually dissipated, leaving only a few people standing in place.

Jingjing exclaimed, "It's over, it's Jianxin and the others."

Ning Buyi turned his head and asked, "What's wrong?"

Looking up again, he saw a dark figure walking towards them. Ning Buyi held his breath, their footsteps echoing his heartbeat, until the group stood in front of the bushes, at which point his heartbeat stopped abruptly.

The first to make a commotion wasn't Kenshin and his group, but another clump of bushes. Five people jumped out of the bushes one after another, and before they could even exchange a pre-match greeting, skill effects were already activated. The two sides then engaged in a fierce fight.

Didn't you say that if I shouted, no one would notice?

Someone outside shouted, "There's someone in the grass over there too!"

The group froze. Where? Them?

The next moment, the remaining participants in the canyon were forced into a melee. Ning Buyi was beaten into the air and then pinned to the ground in the crowd. Finally, he lay on the ground covered in wounds, and the game ended with a black screen.

Ideals are lofty, but reality is harsh.

Zhu Yanhe rarely said anything encouraging: "You've already exceeded expectations by not being last."

"Actually, I wasn't even aiming for the championship." They would have believed me if the water bottle in my hand hadn't been dented inwards.

Li Chang couldn't help but step forward and pat him on the shoulder, finally managing to squeeze out, "Wow, you're quite the expert at using a keyboard now."

The special effects of the gifts lit up in the live stream room. Zhu Yanhe had spent 40,000 yuan, and he received 20,000 yuan, which was exactly the prize money for the competition champion.

Zhu Yanhe: "Champion of the Mountain Fire Internet Cafe Zone".

Shanhuo Internet Cafe is the name of Li Changjia's Internet Cafe.

Ning Buyi felt that the screen in front of her had become much brighter: "I love you, sister."

What should I do if my sister is too good to him?

The autumn wind, carrying a chill, rustled the leaves. Around noon, a message popped up in Ning Buyi's software backend. He picked it up and glanced at it; it was an invitation from a business partner.

Ning Buyi called Jingjing to tell her about it, and she said it was a commercial advertisement and she could accept it.

He then clicked on the collaboration invitation. The interface showed some sample pictures, all of which were photos of legs wearing stockings. Further down were a small section of the requirements. Ning Buyi thought there were no problems and replied to the other party, mainly because they were offering a lot.

Both sides successfully agreed on a time and place.

During dinner that evening, Ning Buyi brought up the matter: "Brother, I've taken on an advertisement."

Li Chang stared at his phone and said dismissively, "That's great news! Hey, don't block my way."

Li Chang didn't pay attention; advertising was just shooting a video for promotion, nothing special.

Ning Buyi said "Oh" and continued eating.

Lying in bed before sleep, Ning Buyi and Zhu Yanhe chatted on the phone.

A few days ago, Zhu Yanhe limited Ning Buyi to a certain number of messages per day, but allowed him to make phone calls at night, which effectively controlled Ning Buyi's speech patterns and improved his daily routine.

"I had sour soup noodles for breakfast."

A natural female voice came through; it was the voice changer Zhu Yanhe had bought: "Mmm."

"You missed a minute of my live stream today, sister."

Zhu Yanhe explained matter-of-factly, "You spent that entire minute adjusting the equipment."

"I had braised pork for lunch."

As he turned the pages, Zhu Yanhe chuckled softly, "Even a tiger wouldn't eat its own cubs."

Ning Buyi rolled over suddenly on the bed: "I hate you, sister! I'm not playing with you anymore!"

It's urgent.

"You're not going to play with me?"

Ning Buyi's tone was firm: "Yes! I'm not playing with you—for one minute!"

A real man shouldn't lack any tolerance; he should be able to hold a boat in his belly.

Ning Buyi had planned to talk to his sister about the advertisement before making the call, but the little incident had already made him forget about it.

He yawned several times, still babbling on and on, as if he had a lot to say to his sister.

Zhu Yanhe asked, "Aren't you sleepy yet?"

He was indeed a little sleepy, so he softly hummed in agreement, and then quickly said into the microphone, "I like you."

Every word reached Zhu Yanhe's ears, brushing against her eardrums like feathers. Zhu Yanhe closed the book and chuckled softly, "Okay, goodnight."

A short sentence stirred the boy's heartstrings, his cheeks gradually flushed, and he said "I like you" and immediately hung up the phone. Sister is too unfair!

The busy tone of the other end of the line echoed a few times by the bedside. Zhu Yanhe imagined Ning Buyi blushing as he held up his phone and said he liked her. Luckily, it was Zhu Yanhe's phone.

For the next few days, Ning Buyi would ride his electric scooter out every afternoon.

He followed the address on his phone's navigation and stopped in front of an office building.

Standing at the bottom of this building, you can't see the top. Isn't this the place where they took pictures last time?

He followed the instructions and continued walking inside. A girl slowly approached him, wearing a pink dress. She looked like a very gentle older sister.

"Hello, is this Mr. Ning?"

Ning Buyi nodded obediently. That was the person who had sent him the invitation. He followed her into the elevator, and the feeling of weightlessness caused by the rapid ascent filled his senses. The girl beside him spoke softly.

“Just call me Peach. We are in the hosiery industry. We saw your photos here when we came here to shoot model pictures before, so we contacted you.”

Ning Buyi agreed, the elevator doors opened, and he stepped out. It was still the same photography studio, but there was only a green curtain behind him.

Several people saw him coming and greeted him with smiles. Ning Buyi bowed slightly in response, his hands twisting his trouser legs as if he had nowhere to put them.

Peach led him inside, saying, "They're all my colleagues, and they're all very nice. You can go to the fitting room and change into your clothes later." As she spoke, she picked up a set of clothes from a rack and handed it to him.

"Okay." The boy reached out and took it, then lifted the curtain and went into the fitting room.

Ning Buyi unfolded the clothes in his hand. The style was similar to the ones Guoguo had given him before. He quickly put on the clothes, and the flesh-colored pantyhose wrapped around his shapely calves, outlining their slender shape. He checked them over from head to toe, and only after confirming that he was dressed properly did he push open the door.

The crowd turned their gazes to him simultaneously, their eyes flashing with amazement, and exclamations of admiration filled the air: "Oh my god, I hate you!"

“I didn’t believe it when a female photographer said she had captured him dying without regrets.”

"Actually, I didn't dare to say anything when he came in because I was afraid of scaring him. This is just too much."

Although the sounds were not loud, they all reached Ning Buyi's ears. He pursed his lips, lowered his eyes, and stared at his toes. His earlobes were already flushed. There were so many people.

"A new person has arrived?" A clear female voice rang out, and Ning Buyi turned around upon hearing this.

His jet-black straight hair cascaded down his back, and he wore a leather jacket. His sharp features looked somewhat familiar, and he had scattered silver accessories on his body. He looked so cool.

"You're here!" The girl met Ning Buyi's gaze, and a smile visibly appeared on her lips. She took two steps forward in one, "Oh my god, oh my god, just as I thought."

Her sudden advance caused Ning Buyi to instinctively take a small step back on one foot. Taozi stepped forward and pulled the girl away to rescue him, saying, "Zhuzi, don't scare her."

Zhu Zhu realized that it was impolite, so she stood up straight and extended her hand: "Hello, my name is Zhu Zhu."

Ning Buyi gently returned the handshake: "My name is Ning Buyi."

Zhu Zhu took his hand and led him inside, feeling the softness and warmth in her palm.

"I've been thinking about you for days, you've finally come."

Ning Buyi followed along, his steps a little unsteady, before being pressed down onto a transparent chair in front of a green screen. The force was quite great.

Zhu Zhu stepped back a few paces and glanced at the panoramic view: "You don't need to do anything, just sit here."

He was facing five or six cameras, some squatting and some standing. His legs were straight and flat on the wool carpet, a standard classroom posture without a desk.

Zhu Zhu held the camera in one hand and comforted him, "Relax, don't be nervous."

She found a few posters of poses and handed them to him. Ning Buyi thanked her, glanced at them, and then imitated her by bending one leg.

"Yes! Excellent!"

Ning Buyi repeated the movements shown above, crossing and stretching his legs however he wanted, showing off his legs in every way possible. The camera lens followed and locked onto his body until the sun set, when Ning Buyi finally emerged from in front of the curtain.

Zhu Zhu held up her camera in front of him: "Baby, look, it's really good, especially this one."

One photo of himself after another rolled around in front of him; in reality, he only distinguished between good-looking and bad-looking photos: "What's wrong with this one?"

The camera showed a close-up of the lower leg to the ankle, with a noticeable black mole on the inside of the left ankle. The mole was clearly visible when the left leg was crossed over the right leg.

"Mole! This spot is too erotic. I didn't mean that. I meant it's great! Our original goal was to take real pictures of stockings, and this picture of yours perfectly achieves our goal!"

Zhu Zhu blinked her fox-like eyes at him, and when she smiled, the mole under the corner of her mouth twitched, making her look very pretty.

Ning Buyi paused for a moment, then nodded: "Okay."

The girl patted his shoulder and disappeared into the crowd. Several photographers were arguing with each other, each holding their own camera. He thought he had taken a picture of amazing legs, while she thought she had captured a stunning scene.

Ning Buyi, who was at the center of the conversation, sat obediently on the sofa and waited for the next step. Taozi smiled and walked towards him: "Let's go have dinner together later. You've worked hard."
