Chapter 5 It's raining!

"Huh?" someone suddenly exclaimed, "Why is there water dripping on my face?"

"Rain! It's raining!" Zhang Cuihong yelled. "It's raining! Heaven has opened its eyes, it's finally raining!"

After saying that, he turned around and ran home as fast as he could.

Others didn't realize what was happening yet.

Isn't this what they're waiting for the village head to fetch water for them?

Why did you run home?

"Are you stupid? Why are you fetching water now? Hurry up and go back and set out all the wooden basins and stuff. When it rains, do we need to fetch water?" Soon, a smart person realized what was going on.

"Thank God! It actually rained! Our crops are saved!" The old village head's hands trembled as he pushed away his eldest grandson who was supporting him, and then knelt down shakily, kowtowing to the ancient well.

Seeing the old man's actions, the other villagers immediately knelt down and kowtowed three times.

Then, unable to contain himself, he followed and ran home.

...

Lin Wanyue was woken up by a large amount of water. As soon as she got up, she found the ground covered in water. Her third and fourth brothers, who were playing with mud, gave her a wide smile with eight teeth showing.

"It's raining..." And it's raining so heavily.

That's wonderful!

"Little sister, you're awake?"

"Little sister, I've made you a flower!" Lin Ziqiu creatively scooped out a large lump of clay and even tried to shape it.

Dry clods of soil can't be used to make flowers, but it's rained now, hasn't it?

The rain was falling softly, carrying a slight chill in the air with the wind outside.

"Achoo!" Lin Wanyue sneezed.

Liu Junlan left the outside affairs to her son and daughter-in-law. As soon as she entered, she saw her two dirty grandsons and Lin Wanyue sitting on the edge of the bed, rubbing her little nose with her fingers. She showed her dimples when she saw her.

"Grandma, come back!"

"Oh, Wanwan, don't catch a cold. Put on some clothes. You're weak, don't get sick." Liu Junlan reached out and took off Lin Zheyun's clothes and draped them over Lin Wanyue.

"But Grandma... what should I do?" Lin Zheyun asked, hugging her arms, looking weak, pitiful, and helpless.

Suddenly, Lin Zheyun, who was shirtless and had a small belly, felt a chill on his back.

"Can't you find some clothes to wear yourself?"

"That's right."

While cooking, Liu Junlan held Lin Wanyue in his arms. Seeing that the rain was still pouring down, he couldn't help but smile broadly: "Wanwan is our family's lucky star. It started raining as soon as she arrived. She's definitely a blessed person!"

Her precious baby isn't a money-loser; she's her lucky star.

Even God loves this little lucky star dearly!

Lin Weiming moved the table aside and overheard his mother's words, muttering to himself.

This is clearly just a coincidence!

Even if Wanwan is adorable, she couldn't possibly have the ability to summon wind and rain, right?

However, he dared not say these words in front of his mother, otherwise she would slap him so hard his head would be crooked...
