Chapter 116 I Don't Like Being Wrongfully Accused

Only after his assistant left the office did Zhou Shunian dial Losang's number.

He leaned back lazily in his chair, sunlight streaming through the window and falling on him. His phone was on a call. He raised his phoenix eyes slightly; those eyes seemed lazy and casual, but were actually cold and aloof to the bone.

He put his phone on the table and walked to the floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the entire city, looking into the distance through the glass.

That's the direction where the Mu family is located now.

Not long after, the phone rang.

Zhou Shunian remained silent for a moment before turning around to answer the phone.

"Uncle, you just called me."

Losang's voice came through the phone.

Hearing that familiar voice, Zhou Shunian tightened his grip on his phone. He hummed in response, "I saw it trending."

"Don't worry, Uncle, I can handle this. I won't be bullied." Losang said with a smile as he drove and chatted with the person on the phone.

"You're always so busy, Shanshan must have told you."

Zhou Shunian hummed in agreement: "Shanshan said it. She was worried that you were being bullied."

"Sangsang, if you've been bullied, you must tell us."

Losang receives calls from the Zhou family every day or two, either from his eldest or second uncle, his third aunt, or his youngest uncle. His two aunts also frequently send him messages.

They were all worried about being bullied outside.

Don't they realize that no one can bully them?

“I’ve already had someone investigate the trending topic. You can handle it yourself; it’s your own business. Now that I know about it, I certainly won’t sit idly by.” Zhou Shunian knew Losang’s personality; she would definitely investigate herself.

He won't stop the younger generation in the family from learning how to grow up; they are capable of protecting themselves, and that's a good thing.

As the younger brother-in-law, he has the responsibility and obligation to protect the younger members of the family.

Losang smiled and said, "Thank you, Uncle. Send me whatever information you find."

"good."

Zhou Shunian thought for a moment, then asked in a low voice, "Sang Sang, is Huo Yunsheng good to you?"

“Okay, very good.” Losang began to recount some heartwarming moments they shared in their daily lives.

Zhou Shunian listened attentively the whole time, asking questions every now and then. After listening, he asked, "When do you plan to make it public?"

Losang then announced his plan to publicly announce his marriage to Huo Yunsheng when Mu Youyi got married.

"Hehe." Zhou Shunian couldn't help but laugh. His laughter was like ice and snow melting away, giving people a feeling of being bathed in a spring breeze.

He said, "Mu Youyi probably wants to kill you."

“Even if I did nothing, she still wanted to kill me.” She sneered, “The Mu family, except for my grandmother, are all selfish and petty people.”

"Knowing they are villains, you should be more careful." At this point, Zhou Shunian couldn't help but complain to the old man about why he had sent Sangsang back to the Mu family.

It's not like the Zhou family can't afford to raise a child.

Suddenly I realized that my eldest sister-in-law and second sister-in-law were right about something: the old man just likes to make trouble for himself.

Sending their perfectly good daughter to another family to suffer.

That's absolutely outrageous.

Losang nodded repeatedly: "Don't worry, Uncle. Let's have dinner together sometime, and I'll tell you about my recent achievements at the Mu family."

Zhou Shunian chuckled and said, "Even if you don't tell me, I know what you've been up to lately."

He agreed: "Okay, drive carefully, my uncle has to go to a meeting too."

"Tell your uncle if you don't have money."

After hanging up the phone, Losang suddenly missed the Zhou family very much.

For her, the Zhou family was her true family.

Before she had any memory, the first people she saw were the Zhou family, and they took good care of her. She didn't feel that she was any different from Huishan and the others.

When Luo Sang returned to the Mu family home, Zhang Xueqing was already sitting in the living room waiting for him.

Upon seeing her return, Zhang Xueqing flew into a rage, grabbed a cup from the table, and smashed it on the ground: "You still know how to come back."

Losang raised an eyebrow, inwardly scoffing, "Finally, he's losing his temper?"

She thought this woman would continue to pretend to be a loving mother.

She glanced at the broken pieces on the ground before turning her gaze to Zhang Xueqing: "That's strange, if you hate me so much, why didn't you smash it on my head?"

"That way we can avenge Mu Youyi."

When Zhang Xueqing learned that her daughter had fainted from anger caused by Losang and was taken to the hospital, she was furious.

Later, Zhou Ying and others called to say that Youyi was alright, and she was waiting for Losang at home.

She kept telling herself to control her temper and talk to Losang nicely.

But when she saw her come in from outside with a grin, all her good temper vanished.

"You also said that you knew your sister was pregnant, so why did you still go against her?"

Zhang Xueqing stared intently at Luo Sang: "Knowing you don't like her, she's already run away. What else do you want to do?"

Losang chuckled a few times upon hearing this: "The way you're saying it makes it sound like I forced her to leave."

“She wanted to cause trouble, and I caught her every time. In the end, she couldn’t take the shock and couldn’t accept that she was a stupid person, so she moved out.” Losang muttered to himself, “How can you blame me?”

"You should be happy. You gave birth to a fool like Mu Youyi, and you also gave birth to a smart child like me."

Hearing these words, Zhang Xueqing became even angrier.

Is your own daughter an idiot?

Is the little bitch born to An Nuan a smart child?

Zhang Xueqing took a deep breath: "Sangsang, your sister is getting married soon. She won't compete with you for anything anymore. Can't you let her prepare for her wedding happily?"

Losang took two steps forward, grabbed the teapot from the table, and smashed it on the ground.

Her action startled Zhang Xueqing, who let out a scream.

Losang sneered inwardly, feeling that this was not enough. Her gaze fell on the blue and white porcelain placed not far away. She strode forward, picked up the blue and white porcelain, and smashed it on the ground.

"Stop, Losang, stop right now!"

Lausanne did not stop; he continued smashing.

Zhang Xueqing tried to stop Luosang, and even called the servants for help, but even they couldn't do anything to Luosang.

When Losang stopped, she had already indicated that there was nothing left in the living room for her to smash.

She looked at Zhang Xueqing and said with a smile, "You're not the only one who smashes things."

“I’ve said it before, I will never suffer a loss again. Whatever methods you use against me, I will retaliate in the same way.”

Zhang Xueqing was so angry that her head was spinning and she almost fell to the ground.

She pointed at Losang: "What are you doing?"

After saying that, she burst into tears, saying, "Do you still consider me your mother?"

Losang scoffed, "You did what a good mother should do, so naturally I will do what a good daughter should do."

"They haven't even investigated anything, yet they're just waiting here to interrogate me. Do they think I'm easy to bully?"

Losang walked up to Zhang Xueqing and said, "In that case, I should let everyone watch the whole video."

"I don't like being wronged."
