Chapter 2 Dad's "Child-Cutting Kick" is So Cool

She looked at Ye Jingyu, who was not far away, and wondered if he could also hear his daughter's thoughts.

Seeing that he still had his usual expressionless face, I felt slightly relieved.

She'd better keep it a secret from now on; she can't let him know their daughter is an anomaly. She can't afford to gamble on that.

"Xiao Yu, has your child been abducted?"

The bureau chief looked at the man in black with no emotion in his eyes. "Has he gone mad? Does he even know whose child he kidnapped? Ten lives wouldn't be enough to kill him."

Quickly composing himself, Ye Jingyu looked up at Lin Zhongguo. "Brother Lin, what brings you here?"

Lin Zhongguo looked at Ye Jingyu with concern, "I came here after someone reported that your child had been stolen. Is the child alright?"

I didn't dare ask too many questions about Song Yuanqing; everyone in the industry knew that the two were not on good terms.

“The child is alright. I’ll go with you to make a statement. Oh, and this lady.” Ye Jingyu walked over to the woman in the floral jacket who had collapsed on the ground and helped her up.

"And this one, spreading rumors on live stream, the internet is about to explode." The cold gaze turned to the live streamer who had blended into the crowd of onlookers.

At the door, Song Yuanqing was pushed in a wheelchair by a nurse towards ward 1.

The nurse pushing Song Yuanqing around said earnestly, "Patient in bed 1, Song Yuanqing, it's so dangerous outside. You just gave birth, so don't go out recklessly. We know what just happened, but don't worry, the police are here."

Ye Zhi was held in the arms of another nurse.

Upon hearing the nurse's words, she learned her biological mother's name for the first time: Song Yuanqing. The name sounded familiar.

Forget it, if I can't remember, I won't think about it anymore. Watching the police is more important.

She strained to look up at the door, but the baby's body was too limp; the head she had just managed to lift wouldn't last more than a second before collapsing again.
