Chapter 555 Jiang Shuyuan's Current Situation, Jiang Family Approaches Jiang Yichen

The old man was quite old, and his howl was quite loud. Coupled with Shui Changdong's mention, it was clear to anyone with eyes that the two had some kind of conflict, and all eyes turned to them.

"Who are you? Open your eyes and see who I am." Shui Changdong sneered and showed his identification.

The old man leaned closer for a look and exclaimed in surprise, "My God, a mysterious scheme!"

"You want me to pay you? Fine, let's go to the police station and talk to them. If the police check the surveillance footage and they think I hit you, I'll pay you whatever you want. If it wasn't me who hit you, but you who hit me, then sorry, you're definitely going to be jailed for this." Shui Changdong said arrogantly, his voice unconsciously getting a few decibels louder.

Everyone around the elevator knows that the old man bumped into the person in front of him because he was walking too fast.

If he really goes to the police station and they review the surveillance footage, the old man definitely won't get any advantage.

Most importantly, this old man is incredibly audacious; he even dares to stage an accident involving people from the Mysterious Bureau.

But what are the people from the Bureau of Mysteries doing here?

Those watching the scene were thinking to themselves, their gazes then falling on Jiang Yuanhao. Just as they were wondering what was going on, Shui Changdong turned to Jiang Yuanhao and said, "Mr. Jiang, I have something to take care of, so I'll be leaving now."

Before Jiang Yuanhao could answer, Shui Changdong grabbed the old man by the collar and pulled him outside.

The old man groaned a couple of times, begging Shui Changdong not to take him to the police station.

Anyone with eyes can see that this old man is deliberately trying to scam someone; otherwise, why would he be afraid of going to the police station?

After Shui Changdong left, everyone's gaze fell on Jiang Yuanhao again, wondering if he or the Jiang family had gotten into some trouble that had prompted the Mysterious Bureau to come looking for him.

Feeling uncomfortable under these gazes, Jiang Yuanhao turned around and took the elevator back to his office.

After leaving the company gate and walking more than a hundred meters, Shui Changdong finally let go of the old man's collar.

The old man straightened up instantly, raised his hand, and gave Shui Changdong a high five in perfect unison.

"How was my performance, boss?" the man said with a squinting smile, then immediately pulled off his wig and beard, chuckling as he spoke.

“He has the makings of an emperor; his future is bright.” Shui Changdong said, taking out a wad of cash from his pocket and handing it to the man in front of him.

After receiving the money, the man kept his mouth shut, made a zipping motion, and then left.

Shui Changdong watched the man's departing figure without saying anything.

He knew the young man wouldn't tell anyone, because he was a smart man.

Furthermore, if he dares to publicize it, the Bureau of Mysteries has plenty of ways to find him.

Shui Changdong turned his head to look at the tall building behind him, and a smile appeared on his lips.

Today's commotion has made everyone aware that the Mysterious Bureau has approached Jiang Yuanhao.

If he comes a few more times tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, and the day after that, those people will think that Jiang Yuanhao has done something wrong and is being targeted by the Mysterious Bureau.

If rumors start circulating, the story will only grow bigger and bigger.

In the past, he would have thought this was a bit unethical.

But compared to what the Jiang family had done, he felt that their actions were kind and benevolent.

Shui Changdong glanced down at his watch and, seeing that it was still early, turned around, hailed a taxi, and headed to the police station where Jiang Shuyuan was being held.

After seeing Jiang Yuanhao, we should also look at his younger brother in the same light.

I heard that Jiang Shuyuan was tortured terribly in prison, and that since he went in, no one from the Jiang family has ever visited him.

Neither Jiang Yusi, who had portrayed their relationship as very good in front of reporters and the media, nor Jiang's mother, who had carried him for ten months, had ever visited him.

Thinking about it, it's pretty tragic; they were just abandoned.

As soon as Shui Changdong arrived at the police station, he showed off his identification, which was valid everywhere.

When the police officers heard that he wanted to see Jiang Shuyuan, they led him inside without hesitation, but they didn't get close; they just looked at him from a distance.

Jiang Shuyuan no longer had his former optimistic and cheerful demeanor; instead, he appeared listless and weathered.

His body was covered in scars, his face was covered in stubble, and he looked haggard, as if he had aged twenty years.

His eyes were dull and lifeless, as if he could not see the future or the light. He endured the stench, scrubbing the toilet while muttering unintelligible words.

"Shut up, it's so noisy." Just then, an impatient voice rang out.

Jiang Shuyuan shuddered, biting his lip tightly, not daring to make a sound.

"Jiang Shuyuan, come and give me a back massage after you're done brushing your teeth," someone else called out, treating him like a servant.

Jiang Shuyuan dared not resist. After cleaning the toilet, he limped toward the man. Just as he reached out to massage the man's back, he was kicked.

Jiang Shuyuan collapsed to the ground, powerless to resist.

"You want to massage my back without washing your hands after cleaning the toilet? What? You want to suffocate me with the smell?" the man roared, glaring fiercely at Jiang Shuyuan, as if to say, "You're in for a world of hurt."

Upon seeing that look, Jiang Shuyuan trembled in fear, a hint of terror showing in his dull eyes.

"I, I'll wash my hands right away," Jiang Shuyuan said, trembling. He immediately got up, limped to wash his hands, and then began to massage the other person's back.

But not long after, Jiang Shuyuan was kicked again.

That kick almost made him vomit blood.

"You hit me so hard, are you trying to get revenge on me?" The man got out of bed, walked up to Jiang Shuyuan, and stepped on his chest.

"I...I didn't," Jiang Shuyuan said weakly.

"I think you just want revenge on me, and you might even want to kill me!"

"Brothers, let's go!"

As soon as the man finished speaking, the few people who were sitting lazily to the side immediately stood up, rolled up their sleeves, and surrounded Jiang Shuyuan.

Immediately afterwards, Shui Changdong heard Jiang Shuyuan's screams and pleas for mercy.
