Chapter 28 Jaboticaba Tree

"Damn it, masculinity? Have you forgotten how badly I beat you last night?" Tu Ling curled her lips and deliberately poked the wound on Ye Li's chest.

Ye Li shrank back in pain, reaching out to cover the wound with his hand, his expression painful: "It's me who's injured! Otherwise, do you think you can beat me with that red thing of yours?"

"If you're a newbie, just practice more and stop making so many excuses." Tu Ling said in a sarcastic tone.

In fact, Ye Li was right about one thing. If he hadn't been injured, she might not have been able to beat him. Although he had superpowers, they were only at level two and could be easily exhausted. Orcs were extremely strong, had thick skin and flesh, and were very agile. If he hadn't been injured, she really wasn't 100% sure that she could defeat him before her superpowers were exhausted.

But everyone is in a state of battle damage. If she were in her prime, she could easily kill even a hundred orcs, let alone Ye Li.

"Madam, look at this!"

Tu Ling heard Bai Qi shouting in front, rolled her eyes at Ye Li, and turned away.

When I walked to the front, I saw a tall tree. From the base to the crown of the tree, there were many huge yellow-green balls hanging, and the surface of the balls was covered with sharp thorns.

"It's durian." Tu Ling touched the hard thorns on the surface. It had been a long time since she felt this feeling.

Seeing Tu Ling touching the thorn, Yin Hen quickly held Tu Ling's palm and carefully examined it. He breathed a sigh of relief when he found no wound: "Madam, don't touch this."

Tu Ling was surprised: "Why?"

"This is the Undead Fruit. We usually use it to attack invaders. The thorns on it are very sharp and can easily hurt you."

"What? You are using this to hit people?" Tu Ling looked heartbroken. This durian was a fruit that she was reluctant to buy before the end of the world, and they actually used it to hit people.

"Tsk, it's a female after all. She's been protected so well that she's never seen any weapons." Ye Li couldn't help but sneer. Every time the tribe was invaded by stray beasts, his father would go and hug this thing, and when he came back, his body would be covered with blood holes. But his mother only needed to lie at home and give orders, even if her orders would make his father bleed, his father would do it. After he grew up, he also hugged it once, and it really hurt.

But after he joined the wandering beasts, he no longer had to use that to hit other orcs, as he was always hit by other orcs.

Tu Ling was a little baffled. This Ye Li was all yin and yang, but the yin and yang of ancient beauties were so pleasing to the eye. Her anger instantly dissipated, and she put on her signature smile and said, "This is called durian. It's not for smashing, it's for eating."

Then she thought of something: "If you really want to use it to attack, you can actually peel off the skin, tie it to a rock and hit it with it."

Ye Li felt that what she said was just a joke: "Eat? Eat one and let me see." I won't kill you.

"Do you know who you look like now?" Tu Ling looked at him with some amusement.

"Who?" Ye Li was confused. Who could he look like? He looked more like his father, but she probably didn't know his father.

"Like the Zi Ye from before, coward, the one with purple hair." Tu Ling pointed at Zi Ye who was standing next to her.

Zi Ye had always liked to tease her before, but Zi Ye was coquettish and always liked to talk, while Ye Li was young and fearless.

When Zi Ye heard Tu Ling mention him, he rubbed Tu Ling's arm shyly and said, "I will absolutely obey the female master now. Since the female master said it is called durian, then it is called durian, and it must be edible!"

"Then you eat." Tu Ling looked like he was watching a show.

Zi Ye was stunned. Uh, how can I eat this? Looking at the durian that he had no idea how to start eating, he made up his mind and decided to just swallow it.

Seeing him open his mouth wide to swallow the whole durian, Tu Ling quickly took the durian from his arms and said, "You are such a fool. This is not how you eat it."

Tu Ling took out a knife and inserted it into the top of the durian, prying open the skin. Instantly, an extremely stinking smell spread, making several people cover their noses.

"I told you something had pooped inside!" Zi Ye looked at Yin Hen proudly. He had thought that durian was smelly before, but the smell was not very strong because the skin was not peeled. Once when he was resisting stray beasts, he complained to Yin Hen that there was definitely something that had pooped inside the undead fruit.

Yinhen disagreed. The undead fruit was sealed and grew on a tree, so how could something be convenient inside?

Now the undead fruit has turned into a durian, and the skin has been opened. The smell inside is much more smelly than before, and it really smells like shit. Yinhen also began to doubt his judgment.

But he immediately denied it: "Impossible, the female master said this is for food." He believed the female master.

After Tu Ling split the durian, the plump durian flesh inside was revealed. He took a piece and put it in his mouth. It was sticky, sweet and had a smooth texture.

"Try it." Tu Ling gave each of them a little, and then took some to feed Yin Ji.

Yinhen and Yinji ate it without hesitation, while the others closed their eyes and took a big bite as if they were going to die heroically.

After eating it, everyone exclaimed that it was delicious.

Ye Li refused to eat: "Want to trick me into eating shit? No way."

Tu Ling didn't force him and snatched the durian from his hand: "If you don't want to eat it, forget it. Give it to our Yinji."

Because durian was too heavy and difficult to preserve, Tu Ling only allowed them to pick two and put them in the basket.

After walking a little further, we found a jaboticaba forest.

The trunk is not very thick, but it is very tall. The trunk and branches are densely covered with black and purple fruits. The skin is shiny, and the fruits are about the size of a baby's fist. They are round and plump, and look very delicious.

Orcs usually pick this fruit and eat it. It is very popular, but it is distributed in a very remote area and it takes a long time to pick it.

"Dig it for me!" Tu Ling threw a few shovels on the ground. She didn't want her people to run so far just to pick a few jaboticaba. Wouldn't it be better to just dig them away and not have to run so far?

Several people instantly understood Tu Ling's intention, their eyes lit up, and they exclaimed, "What a great idea!" Why hadn't they thought of just digging the tree back up before?

Ye Li was very unhappy when he saw Tu Ling showing off: "What's good about you? You're like a bandit. What will you do if you poach other orcs?"

"There are so many, we just dug a few." Bai Qi was a little unhappy when he heard a stray beast say that they were bandits.

"Ye Li, don't be lazy, dig quickly!" Tu Ling was teasing Yin Ji, feeling very uncomfortable.

"What about you?" Ye Li couldn't stand the pampered behavior of females.

"Isn't it enough that I contribute my brain?" Tu Ling was very proud. After all, her brain was the only one that could be used among the group of people.

The sun was about to set. After working all day and not having eaten much, the orcs were starving.

Tu Ling said, "Okay, five trees are enough. Let's go back."

Several males carried one tree each, and each of them had a basket on his back, so they had no hands free for the remaining tree.

Ye Li couldn't help but say, "You wouldn't let that white tiger cub carry such a big tree, would you?"

"I can do it!" Fuxiang was originally prepared to carry the tree. He is a male, so he has to do more work.

As a result, the young white tiger cub used all its strength to lift the treetop, but it was impossible to drag it away.

"Leave this one to me." Tu Ling pulled away Fu Xiang who was still trying hard to lift the tree.
