Chapter 6 Hunting

Tu Ling woke up a few people, ate something quickly, and prepared to go to the trap. Even Fu Xiang was taken to work.

The tiger meat on the trap is still there, and two of the three traps below have been triggered.

When they looked inside, they saw that there was only a tiger that was stabbed to death by a bamboo tube in one cave, and there were three wolves in the other cave. They jumped in even though they saw it was a trap. How greedy they were.

Yinhen brought the prey up and then stood the bamboo tip inside up again.

Today they want to dig a few more traps.

"Then dig deeper. Don't put bamboo there when the time comes. Just make sure the beasts can't climb out. This will prevent other orcs from falling in and getting hurt."

This time, the task of transporting soil was given to Fuxiang. Although Fuxiang was only five years old, he could push the weight of a human cart.

Tu Ling thought silently in her heart: This doesn’t count as child labor abuse, right?

Watching them busy, Tu Ling prepared to walk along the stream to see if he could find something to eat.

Why along the stream? That's right, Tu Ling has a poor sense of direction. She is afraid of wandering around and getting lost in the rain forest.

After walking a few steps, I saw two big white balls.

They were puffballs, each as big as Tuling's head. But Tuling didn't like eating them very much, so she didn't pick any.

And there is a mushroom in front that obviously looks more delicious.

It grows right in the middle of the road, its bright red cap is quite eye-catching. It is a red mushroom, delicious when stir-fried with chili peppers.

After walking for a while, Tu Ling's eyes lit up. She found a huge chicken mushroom, half a meter long! She patted its head and carefully pulled it out from the leaves.

The branches of the tree were full of some unknown birds, but to Tu Ling, they looked like a group of pheasants and should be edible.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Three shots were fired instantly, and three chickens fell to the ground. The others reacted and flew away quickly.

Looking at the spoils in my hand, I thought it should be enough to eat. Next time I go out with them, I can pick more and dry some mushrooms.

Tu Ling returned to the trap. They had already dug a 5-meter-deep pit. Poor little Fuxiang was panting from carrying soil back and forth. The white ears on his head were drooping, his hair was soaked with sweat, and his body was sunburned red.

"Fuxiang come here."
