Tu Ling frowned. What was going on? He wanted to kill her the moment they met?
Lance looked at the Queen in disbelief, knowing that she must have misunderstood that Tu Ling was a mermaid. He quickly explained, "No, Queen!"
"She's not a mermaid! She's a land beastman. She ate pearls and became like this."
Lance frantically hugged Tu Ling, protecting her tightly and preventing the two mermaids from getting close. "Besides, the polar night is coming soon. Let's get through it first!"
Tu Ling was pinned down by Lance. She wanted to push him away and fight with the mermaid queen who wanted to kill her, to let her know that her father was still her father. But she suddenly felt a crystal under her body, which seemed to be a level 10 fire element. She stopped moving. Fighting was not as important as improving her superpowers.
