Chen Lei frowned helplessly as he looked at the young mistress's worried face.
"Young Madam, since you love President Lu, why do you have to hurt each other? Can't the two of you just get along peacefully?"
Being his assistant is really tiring. Not only does he have to help President Lu with work-related issues and life issues, but now Chen Lei also has to lend a hand with his relationship issues.
"I understand, but his health is the most important thing right now," Tang Li said anxiously.
At 10 p.m., all the hospital test results finally came out.
"Mrs. Lu, I have some bad news for you. Mr. Lu doesn't have much time left. You should spend some more time with him!"
This was like a bolt from the blue; Tang Li was completely devastated.
She stood in the attending physician's office, stunned for a long time.
"Mrs. Lu, are you alright?"
Chen Lei, who was standing to the side, also panicked.
The young man's voice was trembling with uncontrollable sobs, "Doctor, could there be an error in the test results? Our boss, Mr. Lu, has always been in good health!"
It was shameful for a grown man to shed tears in front of so many people, but he couldn't control himself.

The doctor held a large stack of test reports and told Chen Lei and Tang Li which indicators were problematic.
"These indicators... logically speaking, you should have come to the hospital for a checkup sooner. When was the last time Mr. Lu had a physical examination?"
Chen Lei realized that President Lu's last physical examination was a year ago.
Previously, there were physical examinations every quarter, but President Lu has been too busy lately, and with Tang Li coming back, he was so happy that he forgot about the physical examinations.
He still feels young.
"President Lu has already missed several medical check-ups."
Chen Lei felt a wave of fear. If he had another chance, he would definitely urge President Lu to get a medical check-up in time and not delay it.
"Doctor, is there really no other possibility? Please think of another way. No matter which specialist we need or what medicine we require, I will find a way to do it!"
However, the doctor in the white coat simply frowned and shook his head.
Tang Li didn't know how she walked out of the doctor's office; she just felt completely drained.
Her mind went blank; she was completely unable to think.
