Chapter 160 Is she really going to be a single mother?

As the two vehicles drew closer, the scenery on both sides of the road became increasingly desolate.

A coffee shop appeared on the side of the road.

The black van came to a smooth stop in front of the coffee shop, and three men dressed in black got out.

They walked straight into the coffee shop.

Tang Li slammed on the brakes, got out of the car, and rushed into the coffee shop.

She rushed over and grabbed one of the men.

But the man turned around, gave her a cold glance, and didn't say anything.

"Lili!"

Upon hearing that familiar voice, Tang Li was taken aback.

Turning around, she saw a familiar face sitting in the coffee shop—her father, Tang Nanquan!

Tang Nanquan sat there, seemingly waiting for Tang Li, or perhaps waiting for the three people to come over.

I hadn't seen Tang Nanquan for a while, and he looked much older. He had a lot more gray hair, and he looked like he had aged more than ten years in just half a month.

No wonder, his youngest son, whom he worries about most every day, is still in the police station, and it is unknown when he will be released. The Tang family is also in turmoil.

Tang Li frowned and walked over step by step.

She demanded sharply, "What are you doing here? Did you send these three people? Zhou Yuansong's death is related to you, isn't it?"

Tang Nanquan was very dissatisfied with his daughter's questioning.

This brat has completely disregarded her father now. Can she really sever the bond between father and daughter so easily?

dream!

"Tang Li, do you really not acknowledge me as your father anymore? Is this how you talk to me now, so rude and ill-mannered? How did I raise you when you were a child?!"

When Tang Li heard his rebuke, she felt it was ironic and ridiculous. She walked over and sat down in front of Tang Nanquan.

"Explain yourself clearly. What exactly did you send these three people to Zhou Yuansong's ward for?"

Tang Nanquan took a cup of coffee for himself and pushed another cup in front of Tang Li.

"Zhou Yuansong's time to die has come. He was already seriously ill and wouldn't live much longer!"

Tang Nanquan snorted coldly, his eyes filled with icy intent as he looked up at Tang Li.

"So you had him killed, is that it?"

"Tang Li, even if our father-daughter relationship is over, I still want to remind you that I am still your father! There are some things you shouldn't do, so don't do them. Think carefully about who in this world is truly connected to you by blood!"

Tang Li just stared at him coldly. Tang Nanquan was a man who only ever considered his own interests.

What does a biological daughter matter?

Now that his biological son is in the police station, can't he still just ignore it and not care?

Tang Nanquan was somewhat agitated.

“That old bastard Gu Qiquan is up to no good! He represents the interests of the Gu family, and the Gu family is declining in Hong Kong. He can’t hold on any longer! He’s single-mindedly trying to take over the Tang family. He had this idea even before you were born, but I stopped him back then!”

I never imagined that after all these years, that old man would still harbor such wicked intentions and keep his eyes on the Tang family.

Tang Li never believed Gu Qiquan from the beginning, but she was equally disappointed in her own father.

"And what about you? Gu Qiquan did it all for the Gu family, so why did you kill Zhou Yuansong? Or did Zhou Yuansong know some secret about you?"

Tang Li sneered and questioned, word by word, "After all, he has worked by your side for more than ten years. It shouldn't be surprising that he knows your secrets, right?"

After a moment of silence, Tang Nanquan sighed.

He stood up and snatched Tang Li's phone.

"Don't think I don't know. You're my daughter. Do you think I don't know what you're up to?"

Tang Nanquan cut off Tang Li's phone recording and threw the phone aside.

"Keeping this worthless recording is pointless!"

This was just a conversation between father and daughter, and he became more wary.

“Lili, you’ve grown up. There are some things I can tell you frankly now! Zhou Yuansong has no secrets!”

Tang Nanquan spoke calmly and unhurriedly, "If Zhou Yuansong had any secrets, Gu Qiquan would have already dug them out long ago. Why delay until today?"

"I was just visiting him as his former employer!"

Tang Li stood up, knowing she wouldn't get anything out of Tang Nanquan, so she said no more.

"I'm leaving now. Think about it yourself. Have you really been able to act with a clear conscience all these years? Have you really done the right thing?"

As Tang Li reached the door, she heard Tang Nanquan's very confident voice.

"I never regret any of the decisions I've made! I just never expected you to exceed my expectations!"

Tang Li turned and left. Gu Qiquan would find a way to find out the truth about Zhou Yuansong's death.

Regardless of whether it is related to Tang Nanquan or not, Tang Nanquan is a suspect.

Tang Li had just gotten into the car when she received a call from Gu Qiquan.

"Girl, did you follow that black van?"

Tang Li replied calmly, "No, he ran too fast, I lost him."

Gu Qiquan sighed heavily, as if he regretted it.

Tang Li knew that he would follow the clues and continue investigating.

Zhou Yuansong was a card he had finally managed to get his hands on, how could he bear to just throw it away like that!

8 PM.

When Shen Qingxu returned, he saw Tang Li sitting in the living room, lost in thought with a troubled expression.

Shen Qingxu secretly slipped the fried chicken she had brought back to Alu, and then, pretending nothing had happened, returned to the living room.

Shen Qingxu sat down on the sofa opposite Tang Li.
