Lu Jianshen's eyes were deep and thoughtful. To have any chance of winning, he had to make Tang Li fall for him too.
As expected, Tang Li breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this, and her expression improved considerably. Thankfully, it wasn't what she had imagined.
However, her sense of indebtedness to Lu Jianshen only grew stronger.

Lu Jianshen nodded casually; he had never intended for Tang Li to repay that money.
Lu Jianshen stood up for Tang Li several times, even physically assaulting Lu Chengyi, which infuriated Xu Lihua. Her son is still lying motionless in the hospital.
"That troublemaker Tang Li, even after divorcing Cheng Yi, she's still causing trouble in the Lu family!"

On the opening day, Lu Jianshen brought many potential customers to the store to show their support.

Watching Lu Jianshen talk to a customer, Yan Zhenzhen rested her chin on her hands, looking on with a gossipy expression, "He not only helped you escape your misery, but also helped you set up a jewelry studio. Lili, don't you really want to consider Second Master Lu?"

Tang Li shook her head, taking Yan Zhenzhen's words as nonsense and not taking them seriously.
Yan Zhenzhen glanced at Tang Li's job posting.
"Aren't your job requirements a bit too high? It's just a jewelry studio hiring an assistant."
Tang Li thought for a moment and said, "I hope to meet someone with a background in painting, so that it will be easier for them to learn."
The next day, people came to apply for the job. Yan Zhenzhen was helping Tang Li with the sorting and organization of gemstones in the store. She had just returned to China and didn't have a job yet, so she wasn't busy.

Tang Li nodded, noticing the resume in his hand. "Are you here for a job interview?"
The young man handed over his resume with both hands.
"Yes, my name is Bai Xinyang, and this is my resume."
Yan Zhenzhen nudged Tang Li's arm and whispered, "He's kind of handsome!"
Tang Li carefully reviewed Bai Xinyang's resume and then asked him if he had any relevant work experience.
Bai Xinyang seemed a little nervous. He said sincerely, "Miss Tang, I don't know much about jewelry. I studied fine arts before, and I'm willing to learn. I hope you can teach me."
Those who study fine arts have some basic drawing skills.
Tang Li glanced at the portfolio attached to the resume, nodded, and readily agreed, "Okay, no problem."
It's difficult for her small studio to recruit top talent, so she might as well train newcomers herself.
"A monthly salary of 4000, is that acceptable?"
Bai Xinyang nodded.
"Then come to work tomorrow morning."

Lu Jianshen's pursuit is progressing far too slowly; she's getting impatient watching it.
If these two were to actually get together, who knows when that would be!
The next day, when Lu Jianshen came to pick up Tang Li from get off work, he saw Bai Xinyang.
Tang Li was explaining some design elements and matching techniques to him. The two were standing very close together, and Bai Xinyang was listening attentively.
The young man would occasionally look up, staring intently at Tang Li, his eyes revealing an obvious admiration.
Lu Jianshen's eyes darkened, and the veins on his hand gripping the steering wheel bulged. He got out of the car, walked over, pushed open the door, and knocked on the table.
Tang Li looked up in confusion, "Why are you here?"
"I just happen to be passing by, so I'll give you a ride home."
While flipping through books to find information, Tang Li said, "No need, I have to work overtime tonight and will be home a little later."
