"Ah... I just forgot, I was worried about getting oil splattered on the design drafts while eating."
Lu Jianshen opened the small cake box, handed it over, and casually peeked at her design draft. "Is this 'Mermaid Love'?"
"You have a good eye! I like the name you suggested!"
Tang Li hadn't yet decided on a name for this design draft. "Mermaid Love" was a really nice name.
She murmured, "They met in a small fishing village; a mermaid love story is the most fitting."
"Them?" Lu Jianshen frowned and sat down next to Tang Li. "You're not talking about Lu Chengyi and Ding Weiwei, are you?"
Tang Li nodded.
"Yes, I accepted their wedding jewelry project and have to submit the design within fifteen days."
Lu Jianshen chuckled lightly; she really was carefree.
"Why not just refuse? Aren't you just making things difficult for yourself?"
Tang Li shrugged indifferently, "I don't even mind them being together. It's business that's been handed to me, so why not take it?"
“I’ve thought about it too. If we market this, it would be great publicity. How interesting it would be to design a wedding ring for an ungrateful ex-husband! This would allow more people to see Yishang!”
Lu Jianshen shook his head and sighed.
"You're really doing everything for Yishang now."
However, he had high hopes for Tang Li's relentless fighting spirit.
After taking a shower, Lu Jianshen went back to his room, and Tang Li felt something was off.
He usually reads a book in the living room for a while and talks to her for a bit, but he went to bed quite early today.
At 11:30 p.m., Tang Li was going back to her room to get some materials when she passed by Lu Jianshen's room.
His door was ajar, and a slight sound came from inside. Tang Li suddenly had a bad feeling.
She pushed open the door and went in. Lu Jianshen, who was lying on the bed, had pale lips and was trembling slightly uncontrollably. His forehead was covered in cold sweat.
"Lu Jianshen, what's wrong?"
