Tang Li's heart trembled violently as a familiar sense of fear washed over her, just as it had when her mother died and her father went to prison.
She panicked.
“Ah Shen…”
Her nose stung, and her voice trembled. "I'll call 120 right now, let's go to the hospital."
When Lu Jianshen saw her take out her phone, he grabbed her wrist and gently shook his head.
"No need, don't worry, my stomach medicine is in the drawer, can you get it for me?" He used a lot of strength to say these words.

Even the usually aloof CEO Lu has moments of vulnerability and need for companionship, which makes Tang Li's heart soften unconsciously.

She sat down next to Lu Jianshen, put down her bowl, and then felt that the angle from which she was looking down at him was strange, so she pushed the rocking chair next to her over.
