Xu Jiameng refused.
With tears in her eyes, she said, "Then why can't I be the one by his side, the one who gives him a home? You are still his parents."
Mr. Xu frowned deeply. He could see right through his daughter's thoughts. What an absurd thing to do!
"Jiameng, you can't force feelings."
Mr. Xu sighed and continued, "Your brother should have sent you the information about the blind date. Take a look carefully and find a suitable guy to date. It's time for you to start dating."
Xu Jiameng shook her head. She would never listen to her parents' or brother's arrangements. She had her own life to live and she wanted to make her own decisions.
"I won't agree to that, I only want my brother!"
Xu Jiameng got up angrily and was about to leave.
Xu's father roared from behind, "Where are you going now? Don't you want your home anymore?"
"I want to stay at Brother Shen's house!"
Mr. Xu was so angry that he didn't know what to say.
"Look at this, this is the daughter you've spoiled so much, she's getting more and more out of control!" Mr. Xu said with a worried expression. "Jian Shen finally has a girlfriend, and the young couple is doing very well, but Jia Meng has to be such a troublemaker!"
Xu's mother could only comfort her husband: "Don't be angry, I'll try to persuade her too."
Tang Li and Lu Jianshen returned from the restaurant at 8:30 p.m.
The two were chatting and laughing, joking and playing around. She shouldn't have deliberately told jokes to tease him in the elevator.
Now, Tang Li was pressed against the elevator, her legs going weak from Lu Jianshen's kisses.
"Stop messing around, there are security cameras."
Lu Jianshen didn't care. Taking advantage of his height, he completely shielded Tang Li under his body, put his arm around her waist, and continued their passionate kiss as they stepped out of the elevator.
"Shall we sleep together tonight?"
Tang Li looked up at him, her watery eyes evoking tenderness. She was a little unsteady on her feet and could only reach out to hook her arms around Lu Jianshen's neck.
