Lu Wenshan was initially filled with anger.
As soon as he saw the people next to Lu Jianshen approaching, he immediately put on a smiling face.

"Secretary Li, why are you here today? What is your CEO Lu busy with? He hasn't come yet..."
As Lu Wenshan asked questions, his teeth chattered from the cold.
“Our CEO Lu has been very busy lately. If you hadn’t personally invited him, he definitely wouldn’t have come today. But he said he would make time to come.”
There wasn't much to eat on the mountain at noon, and Lu Wenshan was both cold and hungry.
He even suspected that Lu Jianshen was playing a trick on him and that he wouldn't be coming today.
“Secretary Li, if your CEO Lu is unavailable today, let’s head down the mountain early. It’s going to get colder later; I just checked the weather forecast, and it’s going to snow heavily.”
Lu Wenshan couldn't hold on any longer; his chronic leg pain flared up again.
Secretary Li glanced at the time. "It's only one o'clock in the afternoon. Let's wait a little longer. Sunset is at five-thirty tonight!"
Lu Wenshan's expression froze; it was hard to tell whether it was from the cold or from being provoked!
“We’re here to offer incense to the elderly, not to watch the sunset, Secretary Li!”
“I know, what I mean is, if Mr. Lu still hasn’t made it by sunset, we’ll head down the mountain.”
Lu Wenshan was so angry that he was speechless, his eyes scanning Secretary Li.
He felt a little annoyed when he noticed that Secretary Li was wearing a warm down jacket and a cold-weather mask.
This secretary really has no sense of propriety at all.
She actually let herself get cold; this young secretary has no sense of worldly wisdom at all!
"Secretary Li, you're such a young man, you shouldn't be that cold, right?"
Upon hearing her husband's words, Xu Lihua immediately understood what Lu Wenshan meant.
The heavy down jacket that Secretary Li was wearing should have been given to them.
He's just a secretary; it wouldn't matter if he froze to death.
"Yes, Secretary Li, you see we were in a hurry to go up the mountain and didn't even bring a down jacket. Why don't you give me your down jacket?"
Xu Lihua put it more directly!
She was almost numb from the cold, and her mind was barely able to think. If she waited any longer, she might lose her life!
Secretary Li didn't take what the couple said to heart at all.
President Lu specifically instructed that we should ignore them; if they could freeze to death, that would be the best outcome.
Even if they don't freeze to death, they should still be taught a lesson.
"President Lu said that the cold helps people stay alert!"
Lu Wenshan was so cold that white frost had formed on his beard!
"What did you say? What do I need to be sober up for at a time like this? We're not at the company!"
Lu Wenshan was somewhat indignant, "Don't try to intimidate me with your CEO Lu name. I'm still his older brother!"
"President Lu said that you should think more about the old lady. She was moved by your sincerity and might stop bothering you in your dreams!"
Secretary Li's voice was icy as she looked at the shivering group of people, secretly pleased with herself.
None of the Lu family members are good people. They used to be bossy and domineering at the company.
Despite having little ability, he always liked to boss around his colleagues and flaunt his power by using the name of the Lu family.
Secretary Li was overjoyed, thinking that President Lu was finally going to teach them a lesson.
It should have been done a long time ago!
"Mr. Lu, our CEO believes in your sincere love for the old lady. What does this bit of cold weather matter!"
As soon as Lu Wenshan opened his mouth, his teeth started chattering uncontrollably, whether from the cold or from anger, it was hard to tell.
"You should call your boss, Mr. Lu, right away and urge him to come. Are you going to freeze us here like popsicles?"
