Su Liuer and Captain Zhang looked at each other and smiled.
On the way here today, Su Liuer told Captain Zhang that when Zhang Zhenglei saw her, he would definitely think that Captain Zhang had asked her to be a lobbyist.

Captain Zhang waved his hand and said, "I'm not going to give you the restaurant or the money. I did come here for the restaurant, and Madam Su is my lobbyist, but what I want to convince you of is not what you just said."
Zhang Zhenglei looked slightly stunned, with doubts written all over his face.
Captain Zhang said directly, "I've already taken the house and land deeds in this box and put them away. So you've already returned the restaurant to me, and I've accepted it. I'm not giving you this money, but for you to continue running the restaurant. You'll still be the owner of this restaurant, and I'll give you 50% of the dividends every month."

Su Liuer nodded, reached out to take the box, opened it, picked up the thick stack of silver bills inside, and patted them on her palm.
"But you just said that your family has spent a lot of money over the years. With this little money, how much do you think you have paid back? Not even one cent?" Su Liuer sneered and threw the banknote back into the box, with disdain written all over her face.
Zhang Zhenglei blushed, pursed his lips, and nodded in agreement, "Yes, this money is only a small part of what our family has spent over the years. As I just said, I can pay it back slowly. I'll work for my cousin in this restaurant from now on. I don't want any wages, but I can always pay it back!"
