"And let others say that your cousin is exploiting you? And you become a good person who works hard and selflessly?" Su Liuer raised her eyes, glanced at Zhang Zhenglei, and sneered.
He continued, "You're making yourself the victim and making Brother Zhang the bad guy for no reason. You're really a good brother."
Zhang Zhenglei didn't know how Su Liuer made him look like this. This was clearly not his intention!
Su Liuer raised her hand to Zhang Zhenglei, who had stood up excitedly, and said, "Are you trying to say that you don't think that way at all? Did I misinterpret you?"
Zhang Zhenglei nodded sharply: "Yes! You misunderstood me!"
Su Liuer pressed her hand towards him and motioned him to sit down.
After hesitating for a moment, Zhang Zhenglei sat down obediently.
Su Liuer suppressed her sarcastic expression and said seriously, "I believe you are doing this for Brother Zhang's own good. You sincerely want to compensate him for his losses over the years and want him to live a good life in the future. That's why you are doing all this."
Zhang Zhenglei blinked in confusion, unable to react.
Su Liuer continued, "But you weren't really thinking about him by doing this. You just gave him what you thought was the best thing you could give him, the Hongyun Restaurant, the money, and your promise to continue to help run the restaurant and make money for him, but..."
"Is this all that the Brother Zhang you know values and wants? He treats you like a brother, but you're only interested in settling scores and drawing a line between you and him? Don't you think that doing this would be very disappointing and heartbreaking for him?"
Zhang Zhenglei originally wanted to refute. He wanted to say that regardless of whether Zhang Zhengping wanted these or not, he should return them to him.
But when he heard the last sentence, he was completely stunned.
"Brother Zhang has never mentioned taking back the Hongyun Restaurant in all these years. Do you think it's because he's too stupid to realize how profitable it is? Or is it because he doesn't have the ability to defeat your family? So he needs you, the kind and smart one, to help?"

After Su Liuer finished speaking, she stood up and left. Zhang Zhenglei stared at her as she left, his eyes shaken.
He had to admit that although it was hard to hear, it was true.
Now he is doing all this to pay off his family's debts and to make himself feel better.
Zhang Zhenglei stood there, looking at the box of banknotes on the table, without moving for a long time.

Captain Zhang naturally did not wander around the restaurant. When he saw Su Liuer coming out, he went forward to greet her, and then the two of them walked aside and talked in low voices.
"How's it going? Did he agree?"
