In order to prevent Gulan Yang from screaming after waking up, Su Liuer stuffed the rag back into his mouth.
Sure enough, when Gulan Yang woke up, he was dazed and then terrified. He struggled and made a whimpering sound.

Su Liuer brought Gu Lanyang quietly to the window.
"You go out first, take your time, and the most important thing is not to make any noise." Su Liuer instructed Gu Lanyang.
Gulan Yang looked as if he was facing a great enemy and was obviously very nervous.
This is the first time he has been kidnapped!
Following Su Liuer's instructions, Gulan Yang climbed out of the window very slowly and carefully.

"Follow me." Su Liuer led the way and took Gu Lanyang to the corner of the courtyard wall.

Gulanyang can't climb over the wall.
