Chapter 184 At the Seaside

Li Man drove aimlessly on the road. She hadn't had breakfast yet and wanted to take her daughter out for breakfast, but her daughter treated her like that.

Before she knew it, she had driven the car to the seaside.

She opened the car door and got out, the wind blew her hair, she took off her shoes and stepped barefoot on the sand.

The sun shone warmly on her body, but she felt cold all over.

Her heart felt as if it was blocked by a wet rag. She opened her mouth and tears rolled down silently.

She felt like a complete failure as a person. Her husband betrayed her and her daughter disowned her. She didn't know why things turned out like this.

She really couldn't understand. She had been honestly serving her mother-in-law at home, taking care of her husband's daily life, caring about her daughter's study and life, doing the housework with all her heart and soul, and keeping the home in order, but in the end, she ended up like this.

If we have to say that she was wrong, her mistake was that she took too good care of others and ignored her own feelings.

She only thought about other people's feelings but never thought about her own feelings.

She remembered everyone's birthday in the family and celebrated for them, but no one ever remembered her birthday or celebrated it for her.

The scary thing is that she actually thought this was normal, she thought this was the norm in life.

My husband is so busy at work, how can he have the energy to remember these trivial things. My daughter is still young, it is normal for her not to remember them. My mother-in-law is lying in bed suffering from illness, she doesn’t even know what year it is, how can she remember her own birthday?

She is the most "idle" person in the family, so it is normal for her to remember the birthdays of her family members.

Thinking of this, she couldn't help but burst into tears.

She woke up too late.

At this moment, a cell phone suddenly rang in the car. Liman trembled, thinking that it was her daughter calling her back. She quickly wiped away her tears, ran over, opened the car door, and took out her cell phone.

But when he saw the caller ID, the smile that had just appeared on his lips faded.

It wasn't my daughter calling.

She pressed the answer button.

"Huo Jiansheng, what's the matter?" Li Man asked in a hoarse voice.

The wind at the seaside is very strong and blowing.

Huo Jiansheng heard the sound of wind coming from the other end of the phone and asked curiously, "Where are you?"

"I'm at the beach." Riemann replied calmly.

Huo Jiansheng seemed to hear something strange in Li Man's voice and asked, "Are you crying again?"

Li Man didn't know how to reply to Huo Jiansheng. It seemed that she cried every time she saw him.

Unable to get a response from the other end of the phone, Huo Jiansheng sighed: "Wait for me, I'll come find you, I have something to tell you."

"Okay!" Riemann replied.

"Send me the location."

After hanging up Huo Jiansheng's call, Li Man sent him a location.

After sending the location, Riemann walked to the beach and sat down.

When Huo Jiansheng arrived, he saw Li Man sitting alone on the beach, with her hands on her knees. She looked so weak, as if the wind could blow her away.

A shadow loomed over him. Riemann squinted his eyes and raised his head, saying in a faint voice, "You're here."

Huo Jiansheng sat down next to her, turned his head to look at her, and asked with concern: "What's wrong? Why are you crying again? Is business not good?"

Li Man shook his head gently, "No, business is good."

"Then why are you crying again? Is it because of Huang Dehan?" Huo Jiansheng asked again.

Li Man shook his head and said with a choked voice: "My daughter asked me not to call her again, saying that she doesn't want a mother like me."
