Chapter 195 I Just Take What I Deserve

The three and a half hour trial finally ended. When Tan Xiyuan walked out of the court, he was stopped by Lu Feng.

Tan's father and mother thought that Lu Feng was going to beat Tan Xiyuan, so they quickly protected Tan Xiyuan behind them.

"What do you want to do? This is a court and there are surveillance cameras!" Tan's mother warned.

"Mom, don't be nervous. I have something to say to Xiyuan. Can you guys step aside for a while?" Lu Feng said softly.

"Don't call me mom. You're divorced. I'm not your mom. If you have anything to say, just say it here. I won't leave." Mother Tan still protected Tan Xiyuan tightly, fearing that Lu Feng would hit her.

Lu Feng's eyes were always on Tan Xiyuan, but Tan Xiyuan turned his face away and deliberately avoided looking at him.

Unable to get Mr. and Mrs. Tan away, Lu Feng had no choice but to say, "Xiyuan, please, for the sake of our long-term marriage, don't take away so much cash, okay?"

"Bah! You're dreaming!" Tan's mother couldn't help but spit at Lu Feng, "You're cheating on your partner and you still have the nerve to say such things."

Knowing that his words had caused them to misunderstand, Lu Feng quickly explained: "It's not what you think. What I meant is that Xi Yuan should not take away so much cash from the company. Can it be exchanged for company shares?"

"Impossible." Tan Xiyuan finally looked at Lu Feng and said.

There was a flash of despair in Lu Feng's eyes, "If you take away so much money, the company will be finished."

"That's your business and has nothing to do with me!" Tan Xiyuan said coldly.

Just now Lu Feng warned the old lady not to talk nonsense. Now seeing Tan Xiyuan talking to Lu Feng like this, the old lady could no longer bear it. She jumped out and pointed at Tan Xiyuan and cursed, "You slut, without my son, how could you have so much money? You vixen, go seduce the judge and let the judge sentence you so much money..."

Tan Xiyuan's face turned cold and he shouted sternly: "Shut up!"

Tan Xiyuan's voice was so loud that the old lady was startled and the rest of the words she was about to say were stuck in her throat.

The old lady didn't expect Tan Xiyuan to dare to scold her, and she was unable to react for a while. When she reacted and wanted to scold, she saw Tan Xiyuan warning: "If you dare to talk nonsense again, I will sue you for defamation!"

Lu Feng quickly pulled the old lady away and begged, "Mom, please stop making trouble, okay!"

The old lady glared at Tan Xiyuan fiercely and closed her mouth angrily.

"Do you have to do this?" Lu Feng asked unwillingly.

Tan Xiyuan had no expression on his face and said coldly: "I just take what I deserve."

Lu Feng stared at Tan Xiyuan, his eyes full of resentment.

"Don't look at me like that. This is all your own fault. You can't blame others!" Tan Xiyuan couldn't help but say.

"Let's go. Don't waste your time talking to him. We'll do whatever the court decides." Mother Tan pushed Tan Xiyuan away.

Under the protection of his parents, Tan Xiyuan got in the car and drove away.

Watching the figure in the rearview mirror getting farther and farther away, Tan Xiyuan finally couldn't hold back her tears. The ten-year marriage finally came to an end.

Tan's mother comforted her: "Don't be sad, live a good life with your child in the future."

"Mom, after completing the formalities, I want to go abroad." Tan Xiyuan finally told his parents about his plan.

"Why do you want to go abroad?" asked Tan's mother in surprise.

"I want to stay away from Lu Feng. I'm afraid he will snatch the child from me." Tan Xiyuan said, touching her slightly bulging belly.

Tan Xiyuan is more than four months pregnant, but because she is wearing loose clothes, her belly is not visible.

"But who will take care of you if you go abroad alone?" said Tan's mother worriedly.

"Gu Ya is abroad, I'm going to join her."

Tan's mother knew Gu Ya because Tan Xiyuan had brought Gu Ya home for dinner.

Knowing that Tan Xiyuan went to live with Gu Ya, Tan's mother felt relieved, "Then when you are about to give birth, your father and I will come to find you."

"Okay, thank you, Mom. You are still the best to me." Tan Xiyuan affectionately took her mother's arm, leaned his head on her shoulder, and said coquettishly.

"Silly child, you are my daughter. If I don't treat you well, who else should I treat well?" said Tan's mother kindly.

Tan Xiyuan leaned happily on her mother's shoulder. It was because of her parents' support and understanding that she had the confidence to divorce.
