After finishing a morning's research work, Su Yanxi walked out of the hospital laboratory.
Two tall and long-legged men walked towards her, one in white and the other in black. Both of them were outstanding in appearance and had noble temperament.
"Brother Hebai, Brother Jihei!"
Chen Hebai and Liang Jihei stood on Su Yanxi's left and right, looking dignified and eye-catching.
Chen Hebai reached out to pinch Su Yanxi's face, "Sister Yanyan, long time no see."
Liang Jihei slapped his hand away, "Yanyan has grown up, you can't touch her casually anymore."
Chen Hebai glanced at him sideways, "Is pinching the face considered touching?"
Liang Ji gave him a black look and said, "I told you to go to school, but you insisted on feeding the pigs. Now you look like a fool."
Liang Jihei walked around and came to the other side of Chen Hebai, and together with Su Yanxi, sandwiched Chen Hebai in the middle.
"Green dragon on the left, white tiger on the right, and a fool in the middle."
Chen Hebai: "..."
Su Yanxi laughed out loud, her drooping eyelashes trembled, and her rosy lips curled up in a seductive curve.
Liang Jihei leaned forward, his eyes bypassing Chen Hebai, looking at her sweet smile.
Chen Hebai stood in front of Su Yanxi with his hands on his hips, blocking Liang Jihei's line of sight.
"Little cow sitting on the light bulb, you are so arrogant and arrogant, believe it or not, I can elbow you and make you owe money on your medical insurance card!"
Liang Jihei pointed to the light bulb diagonally above him and asked, "Chen Hebai, what do you think that is?"
Chen Hebai: "Light bulb."
Liang Jihei: "If you stand under this lamp, you will be a night-shining pig."
Chen Hebai: "Night-shining pearl?"
Liang Jihei: "Yes, Night-shining Pig."
Chen Hebai thought for a moment and said excitedly, "You compare me to a night-shining pearl. Are you trying to praise my nobility?"
Liang Jihei patted his head like a silly dog and said, "Just take it as it is."
Chen Hebai smiled cheerfully, feeling extremely happy.
The cell phone rang, and Shen Hebai received a call. The silly smile on his face disappeared and he became serious.
"Don't worry, I'll be there right now. I'll handle any big problem for you."
He left in a hurry without even saying goodbye.
There are not many opportunities for Liang Jihei to be alone with Su Yanxi.
He looked at her and said, "Yanyan, let's go have lunch together?"
Two people sat in a very stylish Western restaurant. There was a bouquet of white lychee roses on each table, and soft and soothing violin music flowed in every corner.
The polite waiter brought the steak to the table. Liang Jihei cut the steak into delicate small pieces and pushed it in front of Su Yanxi.
As if he had expected her to say thank you, before Su Yanxi even opened her mouth, he said, "You're welcome. Come on and eat. I always remember that you liked the steak here."
Su Yanxi picked up a small piece of steak with a fork and put it into her mouth. The perfectly fried marbled steak melted in her mouth, tender, juicy and silky.
Liang Jihei ordered a bottle of expensive red wine, his bony fingers gripping the bottle. "Would you like some wine, Yanyan?"
Su Yanxi hesitated: "You can't drive after drinking."
Liang Jihei said, "It's okay, I'll take you wherever you go."
Su Yanxi raised her goblet and said, "I'll drink half of it."
The wine flowed into the goblet, staining the smooth glass wall and making her face turn red.
Liang Jihei asked naturally, "I was in France a while ago discussing luxury goods business and was not in China. I heard from He Bai that you and Gu Yanze broke off the engagement?"
Su Yanxi replied calmly: "Yes, the engagement is cancelled."
Liang Jihei carefully observed her face and saw no sadness or grief. After a moment, he said, "Then I'll take you home from get off work?"
Su Yanxi looked up at him in surprise: "What?"
Liang Jihei: "What I mean is, my aunt is recently sick and in the hospital, so I have to come to the hospital every day to accompany her, and by the way, I can take you home to save you the trouble of driving."
Su Yanxi: "Thank you for your help, Brother Ji Hei. I can drive myself, it's okay."
Liang Ji's eyes dimmed. "At least let me take you home tonight. You've been drinking."
Su Yanxi: "Okay."
A man and a woman walked into the restaurant. The man was wearing a dark gray haute couture suit, and the woman was wearing a white cheongsam, looking slim and graceful.
A man and a woman sat diagonally opposite Su Yanxi.
Liang Jihei looked over and said in surprise: "Oh, isn't that Gu Yanze? Who is the woman next to him? I haven't seen her before."
Su Yanxi said calmly: "His blind date."
Liang Jihei was even more astonished. "It hasn't been long since you broke off your engagement, and he's already started dating?!"
Su Yanxi fiddled with the vegetable salad in her bowl, finding it bland. "Even before we broke off the engagement, he'd have wanted to go on blind dates with other women a long time ago, right?"
Liang Jihei: "We've already bumped into each other, it would be a shame not to say hello. Please take a seat first, I'll go say hello to Gu Yanze."
Su Yanxi put down her fork, stood up and said, "I'm done eating too. Go say hello to my brother and leave."
Liang Jihei led Su Yanxi to stand in front of Gu Yanze, looking at the woman in cheongsam opposite him, "Brother, who are you from?"
Su Yanxi stood there silently, like an outsider, as if this matter had nothing to do with her.
Gu Yanze panicked and quickly explained, "It wasn't me who asked to come. My parents arranged for us to meet."
Liang Jihei: "Your legs are your own. You decide where to go and which path to take. Don't put all the blame on your parents."
He looked at the woman sitting opposite Gu Yanze and said, "Miss, Gu Yanze is interested in you. I'll give you a bottle of red wine for free so you can have a good chat."
