Fu Linchen's handsome face rubbed slowly against Su Yanxi's neck, and she could clearly feel the high outline of his nose.

"I didn't ask you to come find me," Su Yanxi said, "If you hadn't come, I would have fallen into a sweet dream by now."

He lowered his head and fiddled with the Sichuan Opera face-changing doll on her bedside table. His thick black eyelashes drooped and he stopped talking.
"What do you want to eat?" Su Yanxi asked, "Can I pick out some of the leftover dishes for you tonight?"
Fu Linchen: "I won't eat it. It has Gu Yanze's saliva on it, it's disgusting."
Su Yanxi: "It's not our leftovers, it's the leftovers from cooking too much. We keep them in the thermal box and eat them as a midnight snack when anyone in the family is hungry."
Fu Linchen: "Isn't that leftover food? I won't eat it."
As expected of a prince, he's really hard to please. Su Yanxi said, "As long as there's food to eat, it's fine. Why are you still so picky? I've spoiled you."
Fu Linchen opened his eyes and looked at her, "So you spoil me?"
Su Yanxi opened the door and went out, "I'm not used to it."
Thirty minutes later, she brought over a bowl of homemade tomato beef noodles and said, "This is for you."
Fu Linchen walked to the table, sat on a chair, and looked at her through the rising steam. "You made this for me yourself?"
Su Yanxi: "I happened to be hungry too, so I made one for you."
The faint smile on Fu Linchen's face seemed to see through everything, "Really?"
