Chapter 56 Is This Exposed?

There were footsteps outside the door. Su Qinghu and Sister Li looked at each other and started to do the things at hand tacitly.

The factory director came in and saw Sister Li and Su Qinghu packing up their things. He knocked on the door and said with a smile, "Reporter Li, Xiao Su, are you ready? I'll take you to the cafeteria for dinner."

Sister Li smiled and declined, "No, we have to finish writing this interview quickly, so I won't keep any more."

As he said that, he glanced at Su Qinghu and asked, "Is Xiao Su ready?"

Su Qinghu nodded.

The factory manager was obviously a little surprised. "Ah? You're not staying for dinner?"

"We're done with the interview," Sister Li said with a smile. "Director, please hurry up and ask about the accounting certificate. I'm going to write about your emphasis on worker re-education."

The factory manager was delighted: "Of course! Of course! My daughter is at work, so I can only see her tonight. Don't worry, I'll ask tonight, and tomorrow morning...if the employees don't show up for the early shift, I'll post it on the bulletin board!"

Being featured in the newspaper is almost like bringing honor to your family.

Sister Li smiled and nodded. "With your character, why should I worry about you?"

"So, besides studying for an accounting certificate and other cultural subjects, do I need to learn some technical skills?" Sister Li praised the factory manager, who was perked up. "Like, maybe repairing or knitting?"

Su Qinghu couldn't help laughing when he heard this.

Sister Li smiled and said, "You can post some cultural learning materials for the workers to see. For skills training, there's the Women's Federation."

"Hey hey hey."

The factory director agreed without hesitation. He really liked reporters like Sister Li and Su Qinghu, who did not offer them food or benefits but were willing to write good stories about them. He accompanied them all the way to the factory gate. If Sister Li had not stopped him from doing so, he would have probably taken them to the bus stop.

"Reporter Xiao Su!"

Su Qinghu and Sister Li walked about ten meters out of the factory gate when they heard a shout from behind. Su Qinghu turned around and saw the woman with short hair and the slightly older woman running towards her, waving.

In the sunlight, Su Qinghu could see beads of sweat on their foreheads.

"Reporter Xiao Su." The short-haired woman smiled and held out the item in her hand to her. She said shyly, "I bought this with my own money. It's for you."

This is the food from their factory.

The older woman didn't give her anything from the food factory, but instead handed her six White Rabbit candies. Some parents, looking at their children, said gently, "My daughter is six years old and loves White Rabbit candies. I don't know why, but I think you'll like White Rabbit candies, too."

Su Qinghu's eyes curved with laughter, and a bright smile lingered at the corners of her eyes. "Haha, I'm not a child anymore."

Sister Li didn't say anything. When Su Qinghu was about to reach out, she spoke, "Although everyone's life is better now, these things are still in short supply. You can take them home and let your family have a taste."

"As for Xiao Su..." Sister Li smiled and patted Su Qinghu, "It's her first day at work today, I have to set rules for her."

The two female comrades were stunned, and then felt ashamed. Su Qinghu looked at them and suddenly felt that she was an unkind and scumbag.

But Sister Li said so, there must be some internal regulations...

Thinking of something, she opened her bag and pulled out a few colorful paper clips. She handed half to each of them and said with a smile, "Although I can't accept your things, I really like your hard work and progress. These colorful paper clips are for you. You can pin them on your study materials in the future."

The embarrassment and shame they had just felt disappeared, and they took it happily. When they looked at Su Qinghu again, their eyes were filled with surprise and joy.

Su Qinghu: "You must work hard. If you pass the exam, come to me and I will treat you to a meal."

"Um."

After Su Qinghu and Sister Li walked far away, the two of them were still standing there watching.

As they waited for the bus, Sister Li smiled and said, "You have some gadgets with you?"

"Not really. I originally wanted to put these paper clips in the office, but I was in such a hurry to leave that I forgot about them." Su Qinghu held the camera. "I like to organize things into categories. It's best to add small labels so that it's easier to find them."

It will take a long time before everyone has a computer.

If you cannot quickly retrieve what you want, try to classify and label it at the beginning of your work. This should be helpful for your future work.

"That's good. You've just started working, so it's easier for you to do it." Sister Li sighed, "For those of us who have been working for a long time, it's also difficult to organize it."

Su Qinghu didn't know whether to laugh or cry. "Sister Li, you have a good memory. Today, the director asked you for something, and you didn't even think about it. You just flipped through it twice and found it."

This is just like the aunt in the university dormitory. She can tell at a glance whether you are a student of this building.

What an amazing skill!

The two of them returned to the newspaper office almost flattering each other.

After eating with Sister Li, Su Qinghu sat at her assigned workstation and looked through some materials Sister Li had given her. After Sister Li finished writing the manuscript, she called her over and explained the key points to pay attention to before handing it to her. "Take a look and see if there's anything that needs polishing or any typos."

Su Qinghu did not have a computer to make comments at any time, so he returned to his workstation, took out a piece of paper, and while reading, he wrote down on the white paper which paragraph and line had typos, and which paragraph and line needed polishing and revision.

She had a good comprehension ability and a certain amount of information, so this job was easy for her. She finished writing the comments by hand in about fifteen minutes, and then stared at the watch on her wrist for five minutes before going to Sister Li's workstation.

Sister Li took it, looked at her own manuscript, compared it with her handwritten comments, and nodded continuously.

Su Qinghu originally thought that she would have no work to do next, but several other teams that had gone out on missions came back one after another and directly gave her the task of writing.

Su Qinghu: “???”

Do you want this?

She doesn't even have a press card, so it's okay for her to help out, but what's the point of asking her to do it herself?

Su Qinghu went to see Sister Li. Sister Li did not nod or shake her head, but just tapped the paper with the pen in her hand.

The meaning is obvious, which is to ask her to agree.

Su Qinghu: "This is the first time I've written something like this, so my writing might be a bit immature, please bear with me."

"I believe you!" The man, who was about the same age as Sister Li, smiled and whispered before leaving, "Your teacher is also my teacher."

Su Qinghu: “!!!”

Everyone in the department must know that she's Teacher Sun's student, right? Then, isn't the fact that she was assigned here through connections also...
