Chapter 104 Looking for Someone

Chapter 104 Looking for Someone

Ever since she noticed that there was a subtle atmosphere between Lu Xiangye and Lin Zixia that could not be revealed to outsiders, Song Zixin began to restrain herself.

Although he still spoke in a nonchalant manner, which made the girls in the class very happy, he kept his back straight when discussing issues with Lin Zixia.

Because there were several times when Lu Xiangye was waiting for Lin Zixia and he was looking at him outside the window. That heavy gaze made his back chilled, and he was afraid that Lu Xiangye would drag him into the alley and beat him up with a sack in the next second.

The days passed slowly one by one.

The day after the midterm exam results came out, Lin Zixia was secretly reading an extracurricular book under the table.

Song Zixin behind him was checking her grades subject by subject, feeling like crying but unable to shed tears.

He failed the exam again and is about to become EMO.

Suddenly, Lu Xiangye appeared at the back of the classroom and lowered his voice, "Lin Xiaoxia, come out quickly!"

He looked serious, his lips were tightly pursed, and his brows were slightly furrowed.

Lin Zixia was startled and quickly got up and went out, "What's wrong?"

Lu Xiangye's voice sank slightly, "Xu Wu is missing."

Lin Zixia's eyes widened in shock. "What do you mean it's gone?"

"She lost contact after leaving home this morning. She's not at home and hasn't come to school. Her phone is unreachable now."

"Uncle Xu and Aunt Xu are also looking for her everywhere now. They said Xu Wu had a big fight with them last night."

It is likely that he ran away from home out of anger, but what if something really happened?

Lin Zixia's face turned pale. "Wait for me."

She quickly returned to the classroom to retrieve her phone, and without hesitation, "Let's go find her."

Song Zixin also heard their conversation and hurriedly followed, "I'm going too!"

There was no time for greetings, and the three of them trotted out.

The security guard at the school gate saw three students coming and asked as usual, "You can't leave the school now. Do you have a leave application?"

Several people looked at each other, three, two, one...

Lu Xiangye grabbed Lin Zixia's hand and rushed out. The wind whistled past his ears, but his feet never stopped. The three of them ran wildly along the street.

The security guard chased after him for a few steps but couldn't catch up. He stood there and yelled, "Which class are you from? This is against school rules..."

The three of them had already turned the corner and were out of earshot.

Lu Xiangye stopped only after confirming that the security guard had not caught up.

Lin Zixia bent over and panted. "It's no use just searching aimlessly on the street. Let's list the places she frequents and split up to look for her."

Lu Xiangye took out his phone and forwarded it to the two of them. "He Yan has already sent it to me. He and Wu You have already gone to the amusement park and the Children's Palace respectively."

Lin Zixia took a look and made a quick decision, "Then I'll go to this place, and you two go somewhere else."

Lu Xiangye frowned, "I'll go with you."

Lin Zixia spoke quickly, "It's important to find someone. I have my phone with me and it's daytime, so nothing will happen."

After she finished speaking, she hailed a taxi and turned back to say as she opened the door, "Let's keep in touch if anything happens."

Lu Xiangye nodded, "Okay, call me if you have anything."

Lu Xiangye and Song Zixin went to the remaining places respectively.

Lin Zixia sat in the taxi, turned his head to look out the window, holding his cell phone, and searched along both sides of the street.

The driver looked up at the rearview mirror and said, "Little girl, you are a student at No. 1 Middle School, right? You are still in class at this hour, why did you run out?"

Lin Zixia paused and said nothing more, "It's urgent."

Seeing that she had no intention of talking further, the driver did not ask any more questions.

The taxi stopped outside the dance studio where Xu Wu was currently learning to dance.

Lin Zixia got out of the car and went straight upstairs to look around. There weren't many people taking classes in the dance studio at this time, and Xu Wu was nowhere to be found. Lin Zixia found the front desk, pulled out Xu Wu's photo and showed it to her, "Miss, is she here today?"

The lady at the front desk took a look and couldn't remember clearly, "It seems like a little girl came here this morning, but she left after a while. I'm not sure if it was her."

"Thanks."

Lin Zixia put away her phone and looked around again. There was no one in the dance studio, so she walked around again.

Lin Zixia took out her cell phone, ready to try again to see if she could get through to Xu Wu. She looked up inadvertently and suddenly found a girl sitting with her back to her on the steps not far away.

Lin Zixia looked carefully and saw that it was the school uniform of No. 1 Middle School. She slowly walked closer and saw that it was Xu Wu.

She quickly notified the others and then slowly walked forward.

Suddenly, he felt someone sitting next to him. Xu Wu turned around and saw Lin Zixia.

She quickly turned her face to the side and wiped away her tears, her voice a little hoarse, "Xia Xia, why are you here?"

Lin Zixia didn't look at her, his gaze fixed on the front, and he said softly, "Everyone is worried because they can't contact you."

Xu Wu lowered her eyes, her eyes, already red and swollen from crying, began to feel sore again. She bit her lip and choked, "I'm sorry."

Lin Zixia glanced at her, put his arm around her shoulders, and said gently, "What's there to be sorry about? I believe that no matter which one of us did this, everyone would do the same."

Xu Wu leaned on Lin Zixia's shoulder and couldn't help but shed tears.

Lin Zixia patted her shoulder and said gently, "It will be better if you cry it out."

Xu Wu hugged her and sobbed again.

Lin Zixia didn't say anything, just patted her back gently and waited quietly for her to finish venting.

I don’t know how long it took, but Xu Wu was tired of crying and her tears no longer flowed easily.

She sniffed, feeling a little embarrassed.

Lin Zixia took out a tissue from his pocket and handed it to her. As soon as he turned his head, he caught a glimpse of He Yan standing behind them. He didn't know how long he had been there.

Lin Zixia just moved her lips when He Yan shook his head at her.

There are some things Xu Wu will not tell him. As they are both girls, it might be more appropriate for Lin Zixia to comfort her.

It is not appropriate for him to appear now.

Lin Zixia pursed her lips and said nothing.

Xu Wu took the tissue and wiped away her tears and snot, her voice still a little hoarse, "Thank you."

Lin Zixia just smiled.

The sky was clear with a few white clouds floating in the air. Ahead was a square where many people were playing with their children, and occasional noises could be heard.

Xu Wu hugged her knees, looked up at the front, and said slowly, "I started dancing when I was three years old. The time I spent in the dance studio is more than the time I rest. This is the only thing I have persisted in all these years."

Lin Zixia looked up in the direction of Xu Wu's gaze, and found that from this angle he could see the dance studio. There were people practicing dancing behind the transparent glass.

Xu Wu lowered her eyes. "I wanted to take the art exam and study dance, but they didn't agree."

Xu's parents felt that he should take the college entrance examination normally. The art examination was too risky and this path was not easy to take.

Xu Wu didn't do well in the midterm exam, so her mother wanted to stop her dance lessons and enroll her in an after-school tutoring class.

The weekly dance class was her only spiritual solace and place to relax. She refused and had a big fight with Xu's mother.

Xu Wu took a deep breath and said, "My grades aren't that good. Even if I work harder, I can only get into an ordinary school. The fact that I was able to get into No. 1 Middle School was entirely due to the remedial classes I took in the third year of junior high school."

"I don't like those boring academic topics. I feel like falling asleep when I sit at my desk, but I can stay in the dance studio all day long."

When she practiced splits, backbends, and leg stretches, she persisted no matter how painful or tired she was. She sweated a lot and shed many tears, but never thought of giving up.

She didn't understand why she had to be forced to study so hard and even deprive her of the little time she had to practice dancing.

Xu Wu was also very confused. Was she going to blindly follow the path arranged for her by her parents?

Lin Zixia sighed softly. Xu Wu has always been bright and energetic, and he has never seen her like this before.

But she couldn't resolve such a contradiction.

Parents always think they are doing this for our own good, and they share their experiences as people with experience, fearing that we will go astray.

But your life is your own, and you can only know whether it is right or wrong after you have experienced it yourself.

Lin Zixia took Xu Wu's hand and said softly, "Uncle and aunt are also very anxiously looking for you. Go back and have a good talk with them. Strengthen your attitude. Maybe there will be a turning point."

"We are always at a crossroads. One path leads to the road of prosperity our parents and adults talk about, while the other leads to an unknown future. You don't know whether the road ahead will be thorny or smooth, but as long as you think clearly and don't regret your decision, then you should move forward with determination."

Xu Wu looked ahead, thoughtfully.

After calming down, she realized that her behavior today was a bit impulsive. She turned on her cell phone and found dozens of missed calls, including from Xu's father and mother, and He Yan.

There are also many messages on WeChat, all looking for her.

Her eyelashes drooped slightly, and she wanted to pull the eye back but hesitated.

Lin Zixia whispered, "How about we go back first?"

Xu Wu nodded.

The two stood up and just turned around when Xu Wu was stunned.

There were a few boys standing behind her, looking at her with smiles. I don't know how long they had been standing there.
