Chapter 30 Positive and Negative Examples

Chapter 30 Positive and Negative Examples

Lin Zixia was still yawning and feeling sleepy when he went to school the next day. He almost fell asleep during morning reading.

Cheng Zhiwei turned to look at her. Lin Zixia was almost crying in the corners of her eyes. She was so sleepy.

"Xia Xia, did you not sleep well last night?"

Lin Zixia nodded and took advantage of the break to catch up on some sleep, not even opening his eyes to talk to Cheng Zhiwei. "I was so engrossed in reading that I forgot the time and fell asleep after one."

Lin Zixia has a high demand for sleep and cannot stay up late. If she does, she will feel tired the next day.

So she usually went to bed at 12 o'clock, otherwise it would affect her efficiency the next day. But last night, when she went back to read the book Lu Xiangye gave her, she got stuck on a problem and only remembered to check the time after she finished it.

You don’t know until you see it, and you’ll be shocked when you see it.

It's already half past one.

She hurried to go to bed, but after that time she tossed and turned and couldn't fall asleep, and suffered from insomnia for a long time.

Cheng Zhiwei looked at her, looking so sleepy that she couldn't open her eyes, and asked curiously, "What book are you so engrossed in? A novel?"

Lin Zixia placed his elbows on the table, his chin supported by his palms, and tilted his head to the right, not forgetting to answer Cheng Zhiwei's question, "No, the math book."

Cheng Zhiwei opened his mouth, looking surprised.

Sure enough, the academic master’s world is different from hers. She can only read novels until the early morning and can fall asleep after just a few glances at a math book.

"Xia Xia, do you know that you are very perverted?"

Lin Zixia smiled and said, "There's nothing I can do. I don't want to do that either."

She had no choice but to study.

The first class was Chinese. Cheng Jiahua was lecturing on Qinyuanchun Changsha on the stage. Lin Zixia lowered his head, wrote down some notes, and then closed his eyes for a short while.

Lu Xiangye found it funny and couldn't help but tease, "Did you go steal last night?"

Lin Zixia answered without thinking, "Yes, I went to your house to steal books."

When she came to her senses, she realized what she had said. She glanced sideways and met Lu Xiangye's slightly amused gaze. "Come to my house?"

Lin Zixia pursed his lips and pretended to be calm. "Yes, I wanted to see if you put the book under your pillow before sleeping, so that the knowledge would enter your brain."

Lu Xiangye looked at her with a half-smile, "Is that so? Next time, just come to my room and see me."

Lin Zixia almost choked, coughed uncomfortably twice, and looked away.

Lu Xiangye's lips curled slightly, and the next second, he heard Cheng Jiahua on the stage say, "Then... Lu Xiangye, it's your turn to read this text aloud. Be emotional."

Lu Xiangye looked up and saw Cheng Jiahua looking at the two of them with a smile. It seemed that he had been caught chatting. He did not panic and stood up slowly. "Teacher Cheng, I know all the characters, but emotions...that's not something I can control."

The students in the front row all turned around to look, and Wu You and Li Senmiao were already ready to laugh.

Lu Xiangye picked up the book, cleared his throat, and began seriously, "Standing alone in the cold autumn, the Xiang River flows north, at the head of Orange Island..."

Lu Xiangye's voice is very pleasant and his pronunciation is very clear, but it is as calm as the surface of an inland lake, without any ripples and without a trace of emotion.

I don't know if he really has no feelings or is just pretending.

Some students in the class couldn't help laughing.

Before he finished reading, Cheng Jiahua interrupted him, "Okay, let's stop here."

Lu Xiangye shrugged and stopped happily.

Cheng Jiahua spoke slowly, "Mr. Lu's recitation was completely devoid of emotion, just like a robot. Everyone should take this as a warning."

"Every poem has its own emotions to express. Only by truly immersing yourself in the situation can you understand the author's thoughts and feelings. Who else is willing to give it a try?"

Lin Zixia was still laughing secretly when she suddenly felt someone's gaze on her side. She suddenly felt an ominous premonition in her heart.

The next second, Lu Xiangye lazily raised his hand and said, "Teacher, my deskmate said she wants to try it."

Lin Zixia widened his eyes and looked at Lu Xiangye in confusion.

Cheng Jiahua smiled and said gently, "Student Lin Zixia wants to try it, okay."

Lin Zixia glared at Lu Xiangye hatefully before standing up. She was not the kind of person who liked to be in the spotlight, so she seldom raised her hand to answer questions. Lu Xiangye was putting her on a pedestal, and she couldn't refuse even if she wanted to.

Lu Xiangye smiled roguely, "I'm all ears, classmate Lin."

Lin Zixia took a deep breath, adjusted his mood, picked up the textbook and spoke slowly.

The girl's Mandarin is very standard, with clear pronunciation and rich emotions without exaggeration. Her voice is crisp and pleasant, just right.

After reciting the poem, I felt really high-spirited.

Cheng Jiahua took the lead in clapping, and warm applause broke out in the classroom.

"Student Lin read very well and with great enthusiasm. We should all learn from him. This is a positive example."

As a negative example, Lu Xiangye not only did not feel ashamed, but nodded proudly, "Teacher Cheng is right."

Cheng Jiahua wasn't angry either. He looked at Lu Xiangye with a smile and said, "I'm glad you know. People around red people become redder. You should also learn from them."

Lu Xiangye nodded, "Sure!"

Lin Zixia: ...

Is there something wrong with this person?

After class, Li Senmiao and a few other boys imitated Lu Xiangye's tone, "Standing alone in the cold autumn, the Xiang River flows north..."

"Brother Lu is still like this after all these years!"

"Hahahahaha, Brother Lu, how did you manage to be more like a robot than a robot?"

Lu Xiangye: "Being the same day for years is also a kind of ability."

Well, this person has no idea what humility is, nor does he know what shame is.

"Don't you think so, deskmate?"

Lin Zixia was still doing her homework when she was suddenly called out. She raised her head and looked at Lu Xiangye and the crowd of onlookers around him.

She nodded in agreement, "Yes, a tree without bark will surely die."

Everyone was confused by her irrelevant words.

Only Lu Xiangye was nonchalantly turning a black signature pen in his hand. "Okay, you're scolding me!"

The first half of this sentence is: People who have no shame are invincible.

Lu Xiangye sighed, "Student Lin is such a good student. Even when scolding someone, he's so gentle."

Lin Zixia was full of questions and couldn't help himself any longer.

"Lu Xiangye, has your head been pinched by a door?"
