Chapter 99 Lin Xiaoxia, you are really great!

Chapter 99 Lin Xiaoxia, you are really great!

Class 25 of Senior High School.

The classroom was noisy.

After Lin Zixia entered, he found an empty seat in the back row and sat down. The head teacher was a female teacher, who was also the English teacher of Class 15.

After a few brief words, he asked the class to bring the books and distribute them.

Lin Zixia looked around and saw only unfamiliar faces.

Suddenly someone patted her on the shoulder. She turned around and saw a handsome face with a bright smile.

"You are Brother Lu's deskmate, right? I remember you."

Lin Zixia frowned, looking at the face that seemed familiar but he couldn't remember where he had seen it before, and asked softly, "Who are you?"

"My name is Song Zixin," the boy said familiarly. "Your name is Lin Zixia, right? I've seen you on my grade report card. How come you're studying liberal arts?"

The third in the grade, Song Zixin, seems to know Lu Xiangye, Wu You and others.

Lin Zixia asked back, "Aren't you also in the liberal arts class?"

Song Zixin touched her nose. She looked so well-behaved and cute, so why did she speak so harshly?

"I'm used to being in Class 15 and I'm too lazy to change."

Lin Zixia nodded, "Oh."

Song Zixin: "You don't believe it?"

Lin Zixia smiled and said, "Does it matter whether I believe it or not?"

Song Zixin frowned. How could he continue speaking?

How come Brother Lu’s deskmate is as arrogant as him?

However, he was shameless and couldn't stop talking. He sighed, "Ever since junior high school, Brother Lu's grades have always been better than mine. He's never lost the top spot in the grade. I didn't expect it to be like this in high school."

"I can't beat him in science, so I'm going to change my track and become the best in liberal arts."

Lin Zixia nodded, "Then I wish you good luck."

Song Zixin continued, "I remember you seemed to be good at English and Chinese. How were your other subjects?"

Lin Zixia took out a book from his bag and said, "It's okay."

Song Zixin: "I guess we'll have to rearrange the seats later. Why don't we sit together? Brother Lu is willing to sit at the same table with you. You must have something special."

Lin Zixia forced a smile and didn't say whether it was good or not.

It's really noisy.

Song Zixin smiled brightly, "You may not know this, but I'm very popular in class. Everyone wants to sit with me!"

Lin Zixia glanced at the empty table next to him and asked, "What about your deskmate?"

Song Zixin propped up her chin and said, "I switched to science."

Lin Zixia didn't respond and was about to find a book to read when he was suddenly patted on the shoulder again.

She frowned and turned around to see Song Zixin pointing out the window at her.

She looked over and her eyes paused.

In the corridor, Lin Zixia looked at Lu Xiangye standing in front of the railing and walked forward slowly.

Lu Xiangye put one hand in his pocket, his thin eyelids drooped, and his dark eyes looked solemnly towards the direction of the playground.

Lin Zixia walked up to him and moved his lips, "Why are you here?"

Lu Xiangye's jawline tightened as he snorted, "If I hadn't come, how would I have known that you had gone to the liberal arts department without saying a word?"

Lin Zixia pursed her lips and said, "I didn't mean to hide it from you."

Lu Xiangye glanced at him sideways, pursing his lips slightly, "Lin Xiaoxia, do you really consider me... a friend?"

She submitted her application form for subject selection at the end of last semester, and the entire vacation passed without her saying a word about it.

He went straight to Class 15 at the beginning of the school day without even saying hello.

If he hadn't asked Jiang Xu, he would have known nothing.

Lin Zixia looked up at him and explained softly, "You didn't ask, so I didn't mention it."

She was used to making her own decisions and didn't need to consult with others. Lu Xiangye never mentioned the division of arts and science, so she didn't say anything either.

Lu Xiangye looked at her with dark eyes, "If I don't ask, you won't bring it up, right?"

He had never thought that she would study liberal arts, and she had never even shown any sign of it.

Even after school started, she didn't tell herself about this.

His questioning attitude made Lin Zixia feel uncomfortable. She frowned and said, "Why should I bring this up? There's no need for me to report everything to you, right?"

Lu Xiangye's chest rose and fell slightly. He stared at her for a few seconds, gritted his teeth, and said, "Okay, no need."

"Lin Xiaoxia, you are really great!"

There was a hint of melancholy between Lu Xiangye's eyebrows. He glanced at her, turned around and left without looking back.

Lin Zixia watched him leave, opened his mouth to call him, but didn't know what to say.

When Lu Xiangye's figure disappeared from sight, Lin Zixia bit her lip, lowered her eyes, and slowly returned to the classroom.

When Song Zixin saw her come back, she asked, "Why did Brother Lu look for you? I think he doesn't look very happy."

Lin Zixia lowered his eyes and responded vaguely.

She lowered her head and sorted her textbooks.

Lu Xiangye was very angry.

This realization made her absent-minded all morning.

Lin Zixia's transfer to liberal arts caught everyone off guard.

Wu You was surprised. "Why did Sister Xia choose to study liberal arts? Brother Lu, don't you know?"

Lu Xiangye's face grew even darker, and his whole body showed signs of displeasure.

Cheng Zhiwei propped up his chin and said, "Xia Xia is good at liberal arts, so it's normal for her to study liberal arts, but it's a bit sudden."

At noon, Lin Zixia came to find Cheng Zhiwei to have lunch together and met Lu Xiangye at the door.

She was about to call out to him, but he had already walked straight past her.

He didn't look around or turn his head.

Wu You looked at this and that, and quickly followed, "Sister Xia, let's meet in the cafeteria. Brother Lu, wait for me!"

Lin Zixia pursed her lips, and her drooping eyelashes trembled slightly.

Cheng Zhiwei also saw this scene. She took Lin Zixia's hand and asked, "What's wrong? Are you two having a conflict?"

Lin Zixia: "He seems angry."

Cheng Zhiwei looked at her, "Because you're going to study liberal arts?"

Lin Zixia: “Yeah.”

Cheng Zhiwei pulled her towards the cafeteria. "You suddenly went to Class 15 without telling anyone. It really caught us off guard. Everyone was quite surprised."

Lin Zixia frowned, "I just don't think it's necessary to make a big fuss about it."

Cheng Zhiwei: "If it weren't for the fact that Lu Xiangye is already angry, I would have kept you angry for at least two hours."

Lin Zixia was a little surprised, she looked up at Cheng Zhiwei and said softly, "I'm sorry.

Cheng Zhiwei waved his hand. "Okay, I was just kidding, but we are friends. You didn't even reveal a single word about such a big thing."

Lin Zixia lowered his head.

In the past, she made all her own decisions and didn't need to discuss anything with anyone.

They had never formally discussed the division of subjects, and Lin Zixia would not take the initiative to tell others about his own affairs.

She felt that she would naturally know when the time came to divide the subjects.

Cheng Zhiwei sighed, she had to protect the couple she was supporting.

She smiled. "I know you've always been very opinionated and independent, but think about it. If your roles were reversed, and you found out on the first day of school that Lu Xiangye had quietly transferred to another class without telling you, how would you feel?"

Lin Zixia thought for a moment and said, "I might feel a little uncomfortable too."

Cheng Zhiwei nodded, "That's right."

But after thinking about it, he felt something was wrong. "But he shouldn't be so angry, right? He won't even pay any attention to you?"

Lin Zixia lowered his eyes and said, "I guess I was too aggressive just now."

She spoke without thinking, and because Lu Xiangye's tone was not very good, she was also a little emotional and said hurtful words.

Seeing her pitiful face, Cheng Zhiwei shook her arm and said, "Oh, it's nothing serious! It's not a serious matter. Why did you break up on the first day of school? It's not that serious."

Arriving at the cafeteria, Lin Zixia and Cheng Zhiwei finished their food and were looking for a seat when Wu You suddenly waved at them, "Xiaoxia sister, Zhiwei, this way!"

Lin Zixia glanced at Lu Xiangye, who was eating with his eyes lowered, paused, and walked over.

She sat down opposite Lu Xiangye, who didn't even raise his head, but ate with his eyes downcast.

Lin Zixia pursed her lips and said softly, "Would you like some drinks? I'll go buy some."

Lu Xiangye remained silent. Wu You looked at the tense atmosphere between them and took the initiative to say, "I want Sprite!"

Cheng Zhiwei: "Orange juice, thank you Xia Xia!"

Lin Zixia glanced at Lu Xiangye, then turned around and went to get a drink from the cabinet nearby.

When she came back with four bottles of drinks, Lu Xiangye had already left.

She looked at the empty space and stood there in a daze.
