Diamond dust
Huazhou International Hotel, penthouse suite.
The doorbell rang in the room, and a man in a suit went to open the door.
The door opened, and Jin Hai stepped inside, followed by Yang Hao.
The man in a suit who opened the door said, "Brother Hai is here. Master Kun has been waiting for you for a long time."
Jin Hai nodded and walked inside.
The suite is decorated and laid out in an extremely luxurious style, with a panoramic floor-to-ceiling window offering a view of the entire Dali Old Town.
Standing by the floor-to-ceiling window, a man in a white hotel bathrobe held a glass of red wine, gazing dreamily at the night view outside.
It was already late at night, and the night outside the window was deep and dark, with only a few faint specks of light scattered in the streets and alleys.
Hearing footsteps behind him, the man turned around and smiled, "You're here. I've been waiting for you for a long time. Have a seat."
Jin Hai sat down on the velvet sofa in response, staring intently at the man, and said in a cold tone, "Qian Kunpeng, you actually went after Lu Min? Didn't you say you wouldn't touch him?"
Qian Kunpeng chuckled, sat down lazily, swirled the dark red liquid in his wine glass, and said indifferently, "I'm just giving him a warning."
Jin Hai calmed down and said, "Forget it, I don't want to waste any more words. I'll tell you, since you've chosen to cooperate, I hope you'll keep your promise. I won't reveal your whereabouts, and you're not allowed to hurt Lu Min and Yin Ya."
Qian Kunpeng's gaze suddenly sharpened.
Jin Hai met his gaze calmly and without fear.
The two stared at each other for only a few seconds before Qian Kunpeng's gaze softened, and he laughed, "Alright, I won't make things difficult for that kid Lu Min anymore."
"That's right. Put personal grudges aside for now. The important thing now is to find Chen Yaohua's daughter."
At this point, Jin Hai paused, then asked Qian Kunpeng, "How are the people you sent doing? Any news?"
Qian Kunpeng said casually, "The person is currently in Shangri-La, so it's inconvenient for the people we send to take action."
His men had all returned empty-handed, failing to capture her. She was just a woman; why was she so difficult to deal with? This gave Qian Kunpeng a headache.
Jin Hai pondered for a moment and said, "Be careful on your end, but don't make a big fuss about it."
After saying that, Jin Hai turned back to Yang Hao and said, "Hao, send more people to keep an eye on things."
"Yes." Yang Hao nodded.
...
A car sped past on the highway.
The car was filled with wisps of smoke, and Jin Hai held a half-burnt cigarette between his fingers. Since leaving the hotel, Jin Hai hadn't uttered a single word, only silently smoking.
"Brother Hai, are we really going to do something to Brother Hua's daughter?" Yang Hao finally couldn't help but ask.
Back then, Jin Hai, Yang Hao, Qing Mu, Lu Min, and Yin Ya had all received great favors from Chen Yaohua and regarded him as their father and elder. Now that Chen Yaohua is dead, they have set their sights on his daughter for their own selfish desires.
Yang Hao felt guilty about doing this.
After a long silence, Jin Hai sighed, "Ah Hao, I have no choice. Do you think I want to cooperate with Qian Kunpeng? It's just that if I don't do this, Chang Le won't be able to survive, so I have to go back to the old ways."
Upon hearing this, Yang Hao lowered his eyes, looking dejected.
When Chen Yaohua became the head of the Chang Le gang, he froze all of Chang Le's illegal businesses involving organized crime, prostitution, drugs, and gambling, and transformed Chang Le's businesses into a legitimate entertainment industry.
However, industries that bring quick money are always criminal offenses. For money, and to ensure Chang Le's invincibility, Jin Hai did not hesitate to make a devilish deal with Qian Kunpeng.
The car sped by, and the lights outside the window flashed by like streaks of light.
Jin Hai's gaze was deep. He exhaled a puff of smoke and said slowly, "As long as we join forces with Qian Kunpeng to get the storage device from Brother Hua's daughter, with the storage device, all industries can be restarted, Chang Le will regain its funds, and only then can we make Chang Le bigger and better."
Yang Hao was stunned and speechless for a moment.

After leaving the Night Garden Club, Lu Min drove directly to a nearby hotel.
He didn't book a room in advance; when he arrived at the hotel, he went to the front desk and booked a standard single room for one night.
Lu Min was very tired and sleepy. As soon as he entered the room, he went straight to bed without washing his face or taking a shower and slept until the next morning.
He woke up naturally around 8 a.m., or rather, his younger brother forced him awake.
I've been running around these days and haven't had time to do any traditional crafts. I haven't been able to vent my frustrations for days.
His younger brother was already hard and slightly throbbing. He got up irritably and wanted to go to the toilet to take care of himself. As he passed the sink, he saw his reflection in the mirror and realized he was incredibly dirty. He subconsciously looked down and sniffed his clothes, and couldn't help but frown.
He belatedly realized that he hadn't showered the night before, so he quickly took off his clothes, turned on the shower, and poured hot water over his head with a splashing sound.
After taking a shower, his erection softened, and Lu Min lost interest. He went downstairs for breakfast, then went back to pack his things and check out of the hotel.
As I exited the hotel, I saw a couple entering the hotel carrying a box of exquisitely packaged pastries.
That packaging is from Xiangyunzhai.
Lu Min recalled that when he bought Xiangyunzhai flower cakes for Sang Qi for the first time in Lijiang, Sang Qi seemed to really like them and wanted to buy more before leaving.
Thinking of Sang Qi, Lu Min couldn't help but smile.
……………
Three days later.
During his three days in Dukezong Ancient Town, Sang Qi went everywhere, but when he had nothing to do, he stayed in his room and only went out to wander around the nearby streets.
It wasn't that she didn't want to go out, but Lu Min wasn't there, and she was all alone, so she wasn't very interested in going out.
However, Lu Min has been gone for three days. He should have returned by now, so why is he still nowhere to be seen?
In the evening, Sangqi was sitting in the public area drinking tea when Zaxi, who happened to have nothing to do, came over and sat down to drink tea with him.
Sang Qi casually mentioned Lu Min, and Zaxi picked up the conversation, saying, "He said he'd be back in two days, but it's been three days already, why isn't he back yet?"
Sang Qi jokingly said, "They might be so happy they've forgotten about home."
Zaxi just smiled and left after sitting for a short while, saying he had something to do.
Sang Qi secretly followed Zaxi's figure and saw Zaxi go to the door to make a phone call, but he didn't say anything and didn't frown, so he probably didn't get through.
Who did Zaxi call? Lu Min?
Back in her room, Sang Qi felt uneasy. She had a feeling that the phone call Zaxi couldn't get through to was to Lu Min.
If that's the case, why isn't Lu Min answering the phone?
Could something have happened?
Sang Qi couldn't help but think the worst. The more she thought about it, the more panicked she became, and she involuntarily picked up her phone to call Lu Min.
It turns out that Sang Qi didn't intend to save Lu Min's phone number, since they had already added each other on WeChat. But Lu Min kept saying, "What if you can't find me on WeChat?"
Left with no other choice, Sang Qi reluctantly saved Lu Min's WeChat account, and it seems to be of some use now.
Sang Qi dialed the number.
Soon, a voice message on the other end of the phone indicated that the phone was switched off.
Shutting down...
That unpleasant feeling started growing wildly again, like weeds.
Could it be that Lu Min has really gotten into trouble?
That night, Sang Qi couldn't sleep and didn't get any rest.
Sang Qi didn't fall asleep until after 7 a.m.
………
It was nearly noon, and the Dukezong Ancient Town was lonely and quiet under the sunlight.
"Knock knock knock"
There was a knock at the door.
Half-asleep, Sang Qi turned over restlessly, while the knocking on the door echoed in her ears.
She opened her eyes, and after a long pause, she mumbled, "Coming."
She casually tousled her messy hair and, still feeling languid from just waking up, went to open the door.
The door opened, and a figure as imposing as a mountain stood before me.
It's Lu Min.
Sang Qi froze, her pupils dilating in astonishment: "You're back?"
At that moment, a surge of joy inexplicably welled up within Sang Qi. Although his face remained expressionless and calm, his heart was already churning with turbulent emotions.
"Um."
After a long pause, he gave a barely audible "hmm," followed by a forced smile: "Aren't you going to invite me in for a bit?"
Sang Qi belatedly made way for Lu Min to enter.
Lu Min entered the room, placed the exquisite bag he was carrying on the coffee table, and then plopped down on the sofa by the window.
"Why did it take you so long to get back?" Sang Qi closed the door and sat down on the sofa directly opposite Lu Min.
"It's a bit interesting." Lu Min looked somewhat tired, his eyes were bloodshot, his dark circles were deep, and his voice sounded weak.
Sunlight streamed in through the window, allowing Sang Qi to clearly see Lu Min's face. She noticed a bandage on his forehead, obvious abrasions on his wrist, and a bandage on the web of his hand. Two fine scratches were added to his resolute cheeks.
These are all new wounds.
Sang Qi was somewhat surprised. Had he gotten into a fight?
She had to admit that she was worried about Lu Min.
Before he came back, I was worried that something had happened to him. After he came back and I saw that he was injured, I was worried that he was seriously injured.
"What... happened to you?" Sang Qi frowned as she examined the various injuries on Lu Min's body.
Lu Min said nonchalantly, "It's nothing, I just ran into a few thugs and got into a fight."
"..."
Lu Min didn't speak, and closed his eyes, as if taking a nap.
Sang Qi sighed: "You're such a grown-up, yet you still fight like a child."
"Stop nagging..."
He drove back to Shangri-La from Dali early this morning. He didn't sleep well last night and drove for several hours with his injuries.
He felt completely drained of all his strength.
“You look very tired,” Sang Qi said.
He lifted his eyelids and said lazily, "I'm so tired, I'm exhausted."
After he finished speaking, he pointed to the bag on the coffee table and said, "By the way, these are authentic handmade flower cakes from Xiangyunzhai, which I bought in Dali. I saw them and brought you a few boxes. I remember you really like them."
Sang Qi stared blankly at the bag on the tea, and after a long while said, "You're so thoughtful. It's kind of you to remember this and even bought it for me."
However, Lu Min did not reply this time because he did not hear the sentence at all.
Sang Qi looked up and saw Lu Min slumped on the sofa, fast asleep.
Sunlight streamed in through the window, gently falling on Lu Min. He tilted his head, the light making his wheat-colored face appear radiant.
Sang Qi couldn't help but take another look, and found herself somewhat mesmerized.
"Damn it!" she cursed inwardly.
Even though she wasn't attracted to men with that kind of appearance, for some reason, seeing his slightly fierce-looking eyes and brows made Sang Qi feel an irresistible urge to look at him more, even to the point of wanting to touch him...
Sang Qi shook his head to clear his mind.
