Chapter 175 Don't be afraid, I'm here.

Upon hearing his reminder, Mu Qingyun and Kazel quickly stepped forward, each grabbing one side of the rubble, and with a sudden burst of strength, moved the rubble aside.

Beneath the ruins, there is a large hole.

Is it underground?

Mu Qingyun turned to look at Su Qiluo, but Su Qiluo only stared down at the hole and showed no intention of reminding her again.

"You all wait here."

Without hesitation, she jumped.

The hole wasn't very deep. After falling to the ground, she quickly rolled a few times to steady herself and then stood up.

This is true darkness, there is not a single ray of light, you can't see your hand in front of your face, and you can't see the road ahead.

"Should we go down?" Butterfly Dance's voice came from above. Mu Qingyun looked at the road in front of her, thought for a moment, and said, "Kazel, come down."

Having received the message, Kazel jumped down immediately.

Butterfly Dance felt a little sad that she wasn't called, but then she thought that the simplest raw stones had already been taken, and the ones left wouldn't be easy to get.

Preventing her from going down was probably for her safety.

She found a reason to open the door, comforted herself, and silently sat a few steps away from Su Qiluo, staring at the dark hole below.

Kazel landed steadily, turned his head to look around, but couldn't see anything.

"Keep moving forward." Mu Qingyun frowned slightly, then ignited a small flame in her palm, raising it in front of her as a guiding light.

"It's still underground." Kazel muttered. Although he was complaining, he knew in his heart that in this kind of ruin, the raw stones could probably only be hidden underground.

Mu Qingyun followed the flames forward, but before long, the area in front of her solidified into a wall blocking her way.

There's no road.

"Where could the raw stone be in this small place?" Kazel's pupils suddenly darkened, and he reached out and knocked on the wall in front of him, the heavy wall echoing with a dull sound.

Mu Qingyun didn't reply; she was only looking around, trying to see if there was any new way.

Upon closer inspection, she spotted the mechanism.

There are four small, flickering black dots above the cave; you wouldn't notice them if you weren't looking closely.

She took out a few small steel balls she had picked up from the ruins from her storage bag. She had taken them to defend herself and use them as hidden weapons to attack at any time. She never expected that they would come in handy here.

She made a swift move, and the small steel ball flew out of her hand, hitting the four small black dots accurately and decisively.

One after another, the small black dots were struck, producing four crisp sounds at different times.

The two listened to the sounds around them and carefully observed the changes around them. However, neither of them expected that the trap was still under their feet.

The ground cracked open, and her body plummeted uncontrollably. Mu Qingyun tried her best to stabilize her falling speed, but it was no use.

"thump--"

At the bottom lies a vast body of water.

The two fell into the water one after the other. The impact was so great that Mu Qingyun didn't have time to hold her breath. The moment the feeling of weightlessness disappeared, she instinctively started breathing.

Surrounded by water, she struggled to breathe, and her nose became clogged with water from her breathing.

A feeling of suffocation overwhelmed her senses; there wasn't a single breath of air in her lungs, and water filled her nasal cavity.

"Don't be afraid, I'm here."

A magnetic voice came from the left. Her first thought was Kazel, but the voice clearly belonged to Su Qiluo!

No way, he should be up there right now, how could he possibly be next to her?

"Don't worry, I'm here." Another voice suddenly came from the right.

Mu Qingyun listened intently. Wait, this is Kazel's voice. Then the one on her left is really Su Qiluo?

Without thinking, she immediately reached out and tentatively touched the left side.

Before she could even touch anything, her waist was suddenly grabbed!

Her teeth were pried open, and air was passed to her from the other side.

May I?

She suddenly thought of Su Qiluo's hellfire. Her rational mind told her to give in now, but another voice told her it was nothing, that indulging once wouldn't cause any harm.

She gritted her teeth and reached out to hug Su Qiluo's neck.

Su Qiluo didn't expect her to be so proactive. Blue light flashed in his right hand. There was water all around him, so he used the water to suppress the restless hellfire. The hellfire was stirred up and then extinguished, but nothing serious happened.

Kazel closed his eyes, hesitated for a moment, and then opened them.

Looking at the two people embracing each other, completely ignoring him, he helplessly twitched the corners of his mouth. Goodness, he really was quite superfluous.

He frowned, then swam upwards, flicking his long fish tail.

He poked his head out of the water and looked around at his surroundings.

It seems that this place is a body of water formed by the modification of groundwater. However, apart from the water, there are no roads around. The only road is overhead, where he and Mu Qingyun fell down earlier.

He has to retrieve the raw stone himself this time.

He wagged his tail, but didn't have any other thoughts. Anyway, it was his turn to take it. Besides, he wasn't weak. This was a challenge he was supposed to overcome.

He heard the sound of flowing water nearby and turned his head to see Su Qiluo holding Mu Qingyun as they emerged from the water. Both of them had flushed faces and their lips were wet, looking swollen and red.

"Cough, cough." Mu Qingyun coughed a few times, and as soon as she got out of the water, she quickly took a deep breath of fresh air.

"Take a break." Su Qiluo reached out and patted her back to help her catch her breath. "Don't take big breaths, breathe slowly."

She nodded in response, trying her best to keep her breathing steady. Once her breathing had calmed down, she asked softly, "Are you alright? Were you unaffected by me?"

"It's alright, there's water all here." He raised his right hand, which flashed with blue light. The surrounding hands seemed to be drawn by his power, glowing with a faint blue light.

"Um, shall I go down and check on them in a bit?" Seeing that the two of them were completely ignoring him, Kazel smiled awkwardly and interjected.

Upon hearing Kazel's voice, Mu Qingyun realized that she had forgotten him.

I quickly looked around and it seemed there was only this one road.

"Be careful." There was no other way out. Only Kazel could sneak underground. It seemed there was no other way but to send him.

"Hmm." Kazel smiled brightly, his arrogance condensing in his dark eyes. He leaned down, his beautiful fishtail rising and drawing a circle above the water before slamming it back down.

The splash of water from the fish's tail soaked them both, making their already wet clothes even heavier, and their faces stung from the water's spray.

Mu Qingyun stared at the spot where Kazel had disappeared, a hint of helplessness in her eyes.

He definitely did it on purpose!
