Chapter 205 They were truly a match made in heaven

"Then, shall we give it a try?"

Su Qiluo's eyes darkened. He reached out and hugged her waist, turning his head to follow her lips, wanting to kiss her.

This little thing is so seductive; just a few words from him can ignite his passion.

"No, you have Hellfire on you." Mu Qingyun said, a hint of regret in her eyes. If it weren't for the Hellfire, she would have definitely taken him right away!

Bringing him back to reality with just one sentence, Su Qiluo's eyes turned cold. The three superpowers were extraordinary abilities bestowed by heaven, something others could only dream of but never obtain. However, given the choice, he would rather not have them.

He could just be an ordinary, unremarkable person, without hellfire, and his parents wouldn't have abandoned him when he was still young.

And it won't be like not being able to kiss your lover when you want to.

Noticing his strange expression, Mu Qingyun was taken aback. Although she didn't know what he was thinking, she felt she had to offer him some words of comfort for the time being.

"The main reason is that I have the Samadhi Fire within me, so this matter cannot be entirely blamed on you."

“I’m fine,” Su Qiluo understood that she was trying to comfort him. “It was originally my problem. Samadhi Fire is a rare fire-attribute ability, while Hellfire is the root of all evil.”

Not wanting to discuss the matter any further, she looked Su Qiluo up and down, and suddenly an idea popped into her head, "By the way, do you think I should change into an outfit that matches yours?"

She glanced at his obviously expensive suit and thought seriously, "How about I wear a black evening gown later?"

"No rush, wear it to the banquet tonight. I'll pick out a nice one and bring it to you personally," Su Qiluo smiled gently.

"Bewitching and seducing the ruler."

Looking at the perfectly timed smile on his lips, Mu Qingyun muttered to herself.

"What?" Raising an eyebrow, Su Qiluo had actually heard those four words. He figured his wife must have been some kind of princess or palace master before.

Otherwise, how could he be worthy of being called "master"?

"It's nothing," Mu Qingyun smiled.

She wanted to chat a little longer, but the communicator on Su Qiluo's wrist kept flashing.

Someone urged him to leave quickly.

"You can go first. See you at the third level later." She glanced at Su Qiluo's communicator but didn't throw a tantrum and insist on keeping him there.

Anyway, we'll see each other again in a little while, right?

"Okay." Su Qilu smiled gently at her, then turned around. The smile immediately disappeared from his face, and his eyes were full of impatience.

He hung up the communicator abruptly and strode back, muttering to himself, "Seriously, what's with the rush? Is it going to kill someone to be a little slower?"

Huh?

Mu Qingyun's heart stirred, and she turned to look at Su Qiluo's departing figure.

Was that sarcastic remark from Su Qiluo? That's so cute!

She discovered that no matter what Su Qiluo did or said, he could always touch her heart.

They are a match made in heaven.

She smiled contentedly, returned to her room, and patiently waited for the third level to begin.

Two o'clock in the afternoon.

The good weather that had been lasting suddenly disappeared, a layer of gray fog appeared on the horizon, and the air was filled with the fresh scent of earth and flowers.

Mu Qingyun came out of the room, where a staff member was already standing. Upon seeing her, the staff member nodded politely and said, "Come with me."

"Okay." She nodded in agreement and followed.

It was dark all around. Smelling the air, she looked up at the sky.

There's no sun; it looks like it's going to rain.

Ah, with the wind and rain providing support, it's the perfect time to accomplish great things.

...

The military academy principal stood at the academy gate early in the morning, surrounded by a dense crowd of people, all of whom were meritorious generals.

The principal looked young, but the fine wrinkles on his face and the deep look in his eyes betrayed his true age.

Su Qiluo stood at the principal's door, lazily glancing at Mu Jingfeng who was coming this way, before looking away after just one glance.

Mu Jingfeng was followed by a large group of people. He had a smile on his face, looking both solemn and dignified, yet also a little...friendly.

"Your Majesty." The principal nodded respectfully, and the generals behind him followed suit with simple nods.

"Well, congratulations, Principal. Another year of trial students has entered the school. I've heard that quite a few talented people have emerged this time," Mu Jingfeng exclaimed, but the smile on his face didn't reach his eyes.

"I've been away from home, only returning occasionally. I heard that Her Highness the Princess also came to the military academy for trials this time, and even passed the second round. She is truly gifted and deserves the title of 'Glory of the Planet'," the principal replied formally, exchanging pleasantries with Mu Jingfeng.

He has ambitions beyond his immediate surroundings and is not good at management.

However, the previous principal insisted that he take over the military academy. He resisted, but to no avail. He tried to manage the military academy, but he was unhappy every day.

After that, he simply delegated all the tasks to other managers and was happy to be free. Just like when he was a general, he would run to wherever there was danger.

"General Su is exceptionally talented. My little princess has always admired General Su," Mu Jingfeng turned to look at Su Qiluo and said meaningfully, "Yaoyao has admired General Su for a long time and said that she must follow General Su after she enters military academy."

He paused for a moment, then couldn't help but chuckle, "She's just a young girl, and no amount of persuasion will work."

As soon as Mu Jingfeng said this, almost everyone glanced at Su Qiluo.

The king's meaning is quite clear: he is putting pressure on Su Qiluo in public to make her mentor the princess.

They really won't give up.

Su Qiluo stared straight ahead, his face still expressionless, as if the General Su that Mu Jingfeng was talking about wasn't him at all.

There's no point in trying to reason with this kind of person, and he's too lazy to bother.

The principal hadn't expected the king to say such a thing for the princess, but upon closer reflection, it was understandable that the princess was the "glory of the planet" and the king's only child.

He turned to look at Su Qiluo. Although Su Qiluo still had the same expression, he could see the words "unwilling" on Su Qiluo's face.

After a moment's thought, he chuckled softly: "General Su is young and promising, and dashing. Not to mention Capa Dome, there are many people in the entire universe who admire him."

"That's just a compliment."

Su Qiluo spoke calmly, unable to discern the temperament of this principal he had only met a few times, nor could he understand the meaning behind those words.

“How could that be an overstatement? General Su is too modest,” the principal said slowly with an official smile. “However, Her Highness the Princess is of noble status, and General Su usually leads dangerous missions.”

"If Your Highness doesn't go, General Su won't have time to instruct you, but if Your Highness does go, your safety cannot be guaranteed."

The meaning was quite clear from those words.

Mu Jingfeng's expression stiffened for a moment, but he recovered quickly. "That's just Yao Yao's personality. She won't listen to anything we say. When we get back, I'll have her mother give her a good talking to."
