"Force her out?" Mu Qingyun raised an eyebrow, quite surprised by his statement. "How do you force her out? Wouldn't burning her to ashes be better?"
“I will give her medicine to protect her body. Your fire can only burn her water ability.” Kazel lazily raised his chin and said softly, “Water ability is naturally able to counter fire. The more abilities counter each other, the purer they become. Your fire ability is strong enough that the counteracting relationship can be ignored.”
The water-based power that springs from your fire is the purest.
Hearing this, Mu Qingyun wasn't particularly surprised. She had always guessed that Kazel was kind to her because she had something he needed.
It's better to make things clear this way, so she won't have to be on guard all the time.
“Okay.” She nodded without hesitation. “I want pearls. You have to cry out fifty pearls for me as payment for this.”
"..."
Kazel twitched his lips helplessly. "What do you take me for? Someone who would cry pearls for you?"
“Mermaids.” Mu Qingyun shrugged and replied matter-of-factly, “Can’t a mermaid’s tears turn into pearls?”
“Illiterate.” Kazel laughed in anger, making no attempt to hide his sarcasm. “Only merfolk can cry tears. I am a mermaid. I can only sing, not shed pearls.”
Upon hearing this, she glanced at Kazel, her eyes filled with undisguised disdain, and deliberately drew out her "oh," her tone dripping with sarcasm.
"Then sing a song, no, sing ten songs, as a bargaining chip."
"You like me so much, yet you insist on hearing me sing?" Kazel raised an eyebrow, his eyes full of teasing, and even cleared his throat a few times as if to make a joke.
"Don't sing now, save it for me." Mu Qingyun subconsciously covered Kazel's mouth, hesitated for a moment, and then asked, "Isn't it quite rare for mermaids to sing?"
"Well, mermaids don't usually sing on their own initiative. They only sing in front of their loved ones."
He didn't say the second half aloud, but silently added it in his mind.
She frowned, noticing the warm breath from Kazel's voice wafting from her left palm. She quickly withdrew her hand and discreetly wiped it on her clothes.
"That's good," she said, glancing down at the steel bars on the ground. She then pushed herself up with her hands. "Hurry up and place the steel bars in place. The live stream will automatically open when the time is up."
“Okay.” Kazel nodded, reached out and picked up the steel bars from the ground, gave her a hand, and began to secure the important points of the house.
They kept a tight schedule, and as soon as their hour was up, they quickly shut down the live stream. They repeated this process several times, using up all their chances to close the live stream for the day.
After one night, the two finally settled down.
Coincidentally, the live stream also turned on automatically at that moment.
[Finally it's on! Oh my god! I've been watching Mu Ge's livestream for ages with a black screen. I'm so fed up! What's Mu Ge doing? Why won't he let us watch?]
Wait a minute, isn't that... Kazel next to Mu-ge?
[Wow, have they been together all this time?]
[The person upstairs is right. Kazel's stream has been completely black the whole time; I really can't see anything.]
[Holy crap, really? And this is the house that Mu Ge is almost finished building, right? Have they been staying here all this time?]
[Oh my god, what have they been doing all this time? It can't be what I'm thinking, can it?]
It's definitely not what you think. Two guys, what could they possibly do? I'm telling you, stop fantasizing. Maybe they just bumped into each other here.
...
Kazel glanced at the comments on the screen, found them quite amusing, shook his head slightly, and then looked up at Mu Qingyun again, "Shall we go?"
"Walk."
She stepped out of the house, a handful of orange peels in her hand, which she casually stuffed into her storage bag.
"I'm going back to the cave. I won't touch her for now. I'll wait for your instructions." She turned to look at Kazel and said softly.
Upon hearing this, Kazel nodded, smiled at her, and walked towards the sea.
Are they going home separately?
[They're definitely up to something. Look, they just turned off their live streams at the same time, and they were together when the stream started, but now they've only exchanged a few words and gone their separate ways.]
Am I the only one paying attention to who "she" is that Mu-ge mentioned? What's with all this talk about not moving for now, and waiting for your notification? What are these two plotting?
...
As dawn broke, Mu Qingyun looked at the cave that was so close at hand and raised her eyebrows with great excitement.
She had accomplished a major project tonight, and also made a deal with Kazel that satisfied her, so she was not tired at all; on the contrary, she was extremely excited.
"Waaaaah, waaaaah."
Suddenly, a soft sobbing sound reached my ears.
Although Confucius said he did not speak of strange phenomena, physical prowess, disorder, or spirits, the sudden sound of a woman's voice crying so pitifully early in the morning inevitably makes one think in that direction.
She frowned, instinctively reaching for a dagger at her waist, and quietly walked towards the source of the sound.
As she walked behind the person, she looked at the pink figure and felt inexplicably familiar with it.
"Why are you crying?"
"ah!"
Bai Feifei, with the fake tears still on her face, was startled by Mu Qingyun's sudden voice and screamed uncontrollably.
Although she was here guarding Mu Qingyun, and deliberately started crying only after he returned, a sudden voice from behind would startle anyone.
"Bai Feifei?" Mu Qingyun looked at the familiar face in front of her and frowned helplessly. What kind of trouble is this person going to cause now?
"What's wrong? What's wrong?"
Before Bai Feifei could speak, Xiong Ruoyou's voice came through; her voice preceded her arrival.
Damn it.
A cold glint flashed in her eyes. She and Mu Qingyun had originally had a chance to be alone together, but she didn't expect that the damned black bear would wake up.
[Hey, Bai Feifei, what's she doing here?]
[I don't know, why was she squatting at the entrance of Brother Mu's cave crying? Sigh, Brother Mu has a good attitude. If it were me, I would have been scared half to death.]
"Bai Feifei?"
The four people who ran out didn't expect to run into Bai Feifei. Xiong Ruoyou looked completely bewildered and asked, "What are you doing here?"
"I had a fight with Deng Yijie, and I don't want to go back." Bai Feifei pouted, her eyes fixed on Mu Qingyun, not giving anyone else a second glance.
"So?" Mu Qingyun raised an eyebrow and asked casually.
Upon hearing this, Bai Feifei lowered her head shyly, "I want to go with you."
"What?"
Before Mu Qingyun could react, Xiong Ruoyou became agitated. Just kidding, they were both women, and she could see right through this woman's thoughts.
