Chapter 163: Anger

Just as Xiao was about to say something, his thoughts were interrupted by deafening artillery fire. "Oh dear, trouble's here." Wendy jumped down and stretched. "I have a feeling this is almost over, umm, it's the fate of the entire nation, we're getting closer and closer to Su Bai."

Wendy seems to have reverted to her old, unreliable self?

The identity of the demon is uncertain.

"Ah, it seems like it's someone you know who came this time." Wendy chuckled. Xiao followed Wendy's gaze and his pupils dilated in shock.

“…………Mi Nu…” Xiao opened his mouth, seemingly unwilling to believe that the gentle and refined Mi Nu in his memory, who was also a bit mischievous, had been transformed into someone he couldn’t recognize.

His eyes used to be full of smiles, but now they are cold and indifferent. His elegant demeanor is gone, replaced by a coldness that seems to have been programmed.

Looking at the Mi Nu that Wendy recognized at a glance, Xiao shook his head in disbelief: "This, how could this be Mi Nu?" "Oh dear, but the fact is right in front of you, he really is Mi Nu. Even if the old man came, he would find it unbelievable, right? Haha, indeed, after all, who would have thought? Mi Nu has been transformed into this." Wendy said.

“Besides, he doesn’t recognize you anymore. He’s just a fighting machine. You know his moves best, right?” Wendy patted Xiao on the shoulder. “Then he’s in your hands.” “Then… be careful.” Xiao knew what Wendy was going to do, but he could only do his best to hold off Miru.

Wendy turned into the wind and left. He hadn't left the League yet, and he could still fly freely as the wind. But once he arrived in space, he could only transform into human form.

Could this be considered a limitation?

"You guys are really ruthless. We finally managed to take down the Federation after much effort, and we were just about to breathe a sigh of relief when you attacked. Ugh, how outrageous!" Wendy complained to the warship in front of her after arriving in space.

"Enough talk, we must settle this today." The messenger seemed to be a hot-blooded young man, and he spoke without holding back. Wendy pouted and said, "This fighting and killing is no good. Can't we sit down and talk things over calmly?"

"Talk? What's there to talk about? You..." The communications officer was interrupted by a crackling sound, followed by an aged voice: "I wonder what you wish to discuss with us?"

"Hehe, easy, easy. Here's what we'll do: I promise you peace. We'll not interfere with or invade each other. All you have to do is give us that yellow-haired robot you sent out." Wendy chuckled.

There was silence on the other end, as if they hadn't expected Wendy to make such an outrageous demand.

They had put in a tremendous amount of effort to modify that robot, and they could sense a powerful energy within it, but that energy was something they couldn't detect with their technology. They had even considered extracting the energy for further study, but the researcher who attempted to extract it went completely insane.

Yes, without any warning, he just went insane.

All the researchers in the federation looked at each other, completely unaware of who had experienced this.

Over there, communication was cut off, and they seemed to be having a frantic discussion about whether or not to give the robot to Wendy in exchange for peace. Wendy wasn't in a hurry; he was waiting patiently, for time was the last thing he needed.

After waiting for a long time, the communication was finally established, and the answer from the other end was somewhat unexpected for Wendy.

"We disagree."

The five words surprised Wendy a bit, but that's life. It's full of surprises and uncertainties, isn't that what makes life?

"So there's no other way? We have to fight?" Wendy shrugged, a spear appeared in his hand, and like a streak of light, he nimbly dodged the oncoming cannon fire and charged directly into the warship.

Once inside the warship, the Skywing appeared in his hand. The spear was just for show; he was still most comfortable using the bow and arrow.

"Hmph~" Wendy hummed a little tune as she made her way to the command room, where everyone from the Federation stared at her in shock. "Oh dear, why are you so shocked? Bards are everywhere, you know. Now, who wants to hear a poem from the heavens?" Wendy retracted her Skywing, a lyre appeared in her hand, and asked innocently.

With big, curious eyes, he looked at everyone in the command room, as if he were genuinely asking, "Is there really no one willing to listen to the bard's singing?"

"Huh? How could this be? That's so mean." Seeing that everyone had stopped moving, Wendy pouted, looking very sad, but the next second, she put on a grin.

"Well then, there's no other way, so please be quiet for a moment?" Wendy winked at everyone, then clapped her hands, and a gust of wind seemed to come from nowhere, freezing everyone in place.

The belated security detail was also frozen in place by Wendy.

"Oh dear, only now are you willing to listen to me play quietly, I can't help it." Wendy walked to the control panel as if no one else was there. "Let me see, let me see, wow, there are quite a few buttons." After searching around, she finally found the button area to control Miru.

They even thoughtfully added a note; they really did! I'm so moved I could cry.

I'm so sad I could cry.

Pressing the release button, Wendy yawned and said to the guild members who were frozen in place, "Alright~ you've agreed, I'll promise you peace, hmm, so the contract is complete... oh, how was it again? Let me think... right, right, the contract is complete, those who break their promises will be punished by the Rock Eater~" Wendy stuck out her tongue, hummed a little tune, and left.

A group of people were angry but dared not speak out, yet they were helpless.

Back where Wendy had been with Xiao, Xiao was sitting in a chair, holding a creature that seemed either unconscious or malfunctioning. Seeing Wendy return, he nodded. "Let me see if there's anything I missed," Wendy said, placing his hand on the creature's face, closing his eyes, and channeling his divine power through the creature's body. "How is it?" Xiao seemed impatient.

Wendy opened her eyes and withdrew her hand: "The situation is not optimistic. We may have to let the old man come. Let me handle him first." Xiao handed Mi Nu to Wendy. Wendy took a deep breath and chanted an unknown incantation. Mi Nu disappeared in front of Xiao and Wendy.

“Don’t worry, I’ve just put it away temporarily. I’ll take it out again when we get back to Teyvat,” Wendy said, looking at Xiao’s wide eyes.
