Seeing the artillery fire, Wendy smiled and strummed her lyre. Instantly, a gust of wind swept in, blocking all the attacks. Then, Wendy plucked her lyre again, blowing all the high-tech gadgets into the sky.
Blinking her eyes, Wendy looked at everyone with her innocent big eyes: "Oh dear, oh dear, this can't be! I don't know what happened. I was just ordered to come here and not let anyone else get close."
"Enough talk, take this!" One of the female soldiers, unable to tolerate Wendy's attitude, leaped up, drew her longsword, and thrust it directly at Wendy. "Feng Ping, no!" The minister frowned, trying to stop her, but it was too late. Feng Ping had already reached Wendy, and as the longsword was about to pierce Wendy's body, a victor's smile appeared on Feng Ping's face.
With a clang, a green spear appeared out of thin air, blocking Feng Ping's spear. Then, a green figure rushed over, caught the spear, and with a flick of the wrist, sent Feng Ping sprawling from the air. The figure then stood in mid-air, beside Wendy. "Finished?" Wendy turned to look at Xiao, who nodded. "I didn't kill her, and I got what I wanted to know." "Shall we go back?" Wendy asked, and Xiao nodded.
A gentle breeze enveloped Wendy and Xiao as they were about to leave when a bullet pierced through the wind barrier, grazing Xiao's cheek and drawing dark red blood—a mixture of karma and Xiao's blood. Xiao merely raised his eyes slightly and glanced at the person who had wounded him.
Feng Ping held up a very ornate pistol, slightly out of breath, looking at Xiao with eyes full of resentment, anger, and confusion—a mixture of negative emotions.
Xiao's eyes did not show much emotion. He had seen such emotions countless times in his long past, and had been awakened by them countless times. All he could do was look at Feng Ping without joy or sorrow, his eyes full of indifference.
However, the bullet didn't interrupt the teleportation. So, Feng Ping looked at Xiao one last time with fear, seemingly unable to understand why the bullet, clearly aimed at Xiao's head, had only grazed his cheek. Moreover, his eyes were terrifying, so terrifying that Feng Ping felt as if she were standing before a mountain of corpses, and at the top of that mountain were Xiao's calm, indifferent eyes.
"Feng Ping?"
"Feng Ping?"
It was only her teammates' shouts that pulled Feng Ping back to reality. Seeing the fear on her face, everyone was stunned. "Feng Ping, what's wrong?" A teammate was about to pat Feng Ping on the shoulder when Feng Ping screamed and collapsed to the ground.
"Quickly, take her to the sanatorium." The minister saw it all clearly from the side. Xiao's glance had caused irreversible damage to Feng Ping. If she didn't receive timely treatment, she would probably live in that person's shadow for the rest of her life.
No one knows what Feng Ping saw in that person.
No one knew who that person was.
But the minister knew.
This is probably one of the two generals of the Federation...
No, it's more like those two are two generals!
Thinking of this, the minister broke out in a cold sweat.
He had actually survived the attacks of two great generals.

As expected of me, I've started another new book.
Haha, I can't finish filling this out!
To be honest, 1000 words is really satisfying.
