It was too late to dodge.
The red laser cannon hit Xiao as expected, and the figure falling straight down from the sky made Wendy's pupils shrink sharply. The already fierce wind around them became even sharper, and Xingqiu and Wanye also showed surprised expressions. Time seemed to stand still for a moment.
"Nice! From now on, everyone focus your fire on the Wind God." Zars was glad he had been so clever and quickly ordered all his troops to fight Wendy.

Zalus emerged from the largest mech, looking down at him and asking, "Even the Wind God will fail here today, proving that humanity is ultimately greater than the gods."
"Are you just trying to prove that humans are greater than gods?" Wendy's calm words rang out, but they ignited a sudden surge of anger within Zalls. He roared, "Stop pretending to be a second-best! You're going to die here today. Do you have any last words?!"
Countless hearts clenched, fearing Wendy might perish there. But Wendy looked up and smiled, saying, "You all have such courage. I really admire you."
"You can still laugh?" Zars felt his authority had been challenged, and in anger, he immediately returned to the cockpit and launched the missile.
As the missile was about to hit Wendy, the people of China wailed in despair, while the people of the United States celebrated nationwide, having assumed that Wendy was doomed.
To everyone's surprise, there was a loud bang, and the missile... the missile was stopped by something!
