Chapter 85 New Game

As the song drew to a close, an announcement suddenly rang out. It was the same administrator, his deep, magnetic voice echoing throughout the forbidden area: "Well, good morning everyone. It seems you all had a wonderful night last night. Hmm, oh dear, fewer players means the game will lose some of its fun."

Alright, let's first congratulate the surviving contestants. Hmm~ Now we can begin the tense and exciting game segment~

So, let's randomly select some players from all the contestants to enter our first game today!

Suddenly, Wendy and her companions found themselves in a scene resembling an ancient Roman arena. On the stage were the contestants, and below was a vast arena that appeared to be made of stone. The figure of the manager suddenly appeared in the center of the arena, dressed in a well-tailored black suit, with long white hair flowing in the wind, long legs, eagle eyes, and sword-like eyebrows. His eyes seemed to hold endless darkness, captivating anyone who looked into them.

"Nice to meet you. I am Manager Number Thirty-Three, hehe~" His sexy thin lips opened and closed, and his Adam's apple rose and fell with his words. This was quite an image that would appeal to anyone's taste.

The manager coughed slightly, and a large screen appeared above the venue. The screen displayed many images, presumably game modes. The images slid quickly and finally settled on one image.

Then, the scene changes abruptly, divided into squares, and the sound of the sea can be faintly heard.

The manager cleared his throat and said, "The rules of this game are simple: it's all about luck. If you're lucky enough, passing the level is a breeze. Just so you know, there's no testing involved! Now, let's invite the contestants to the stage!"

The tracker was still observing coldly when suddenly he found himself standing in the center of the field. Looking left and right, he saw dozens of other contestants. In front of him were three squares with no patterns, just three ordinary stone floorboards. Looking into the distance, he saw the administrators already standing there, which seemed to be the finish line.

"Alright, everyone, come over here~" The manager's voice was full of enticement, and several contestants gritted their teeth and stepped onto the first square.

"Ahhhh! Help!!!" Of course, some people simply lost their footing, and as soon as they fell into the sea and cried out, they were bitten by a sea monster and turned into blood that floated on the surface of the sea, proving that they had existed.

This turn of events caught almost everyone off guard, but some veteran players knew what was going to happen. And look, it happened.

The survivors wore expressions of relief, as their squares were safe. However, some contestants tried to follow the others' lead, and after stepping onto those supposedly safe squares, they too fell into the sea.

"It seems everyone is different." The Tracer concluded. He didn't bother stepping on the square in front of him. Anyway, it wouldn't matter if he fell into the sea. He was just a puppet, not a person.

The player next to the tracer was unlucky. He stepped on the right square in the first layer, but missed the square in the second layer and became food for the sea monster. The surging water element was the best additive in the tracer's eyes.

"If I fly slowly, I should be able to reach the finish line..." After calculating the air force and distance, the Tracker felt it was feasible. On the field, several people had already walked to the center of the track, but the Tracker was the only one who remained motionless at the starting point.

"Whose contestant is this? They're just staring blankly, frozen in fear?"

"He's a disgrace to his country, such a coward."

"I will definitely laugh at his country."

Wendy heard the negative comments on stage, but he didn't care. He believed that the Tracer would give him a surprise.

The wind-elemental little boy is not weak.

"Raging Wind Soars to the Sky." The Pursuer suddenly took to the air, a small blue ring on its large ring standing out prominently. Then, everyone stared in disbelief as the Pursuer slowly flew to the finish line. "Boring." Upon reaching the finish line, the Pursuer glanced at the other surviving contestants, who were anxiously watching the next step, and couldn't help but scoff.

Turning to the smiling administrator, he asked, "So, I guess I've passed the level?" "Of course," the administrator replied with a smile. The tracer fell silent after hearing this, simply crossing his arms and watching the other contestants complete the level. He would occasionally utter words like "ant" or "trash."

This is infuriating! The other contestants dared not speak out against it.

In the end, only a handful of people were lucky enough to reach the finish line. However, instead of looking relieved after passing the test, they stared at the pursuers with angry expressions.

I've never seen anyone with such an infuriating mouth.

"Am I being harsh? I'm just telling the truth. Those who can't accept it should reflect on their own shortcomings. Can't you even complain about your own weakness?" The pursuer received this anger, but refused to apologize. They just enjoy seeing you dislike them but can't do anything about it.

"His wind-type skills need improvement," Morax commented on Barbatos's eye for talent selection. Barbatos rolled his eyes and said, "How can you blame me? It's not like I used my divine eye." "In general terms, that's true," Morax said.

"I wish your country wouldn't survive to the end in the next game." One of them directly cursed the Pursuer, his malicious expression as if the Pursuer had dug up his family's grave, determined to bring him to his knees. "Huh? Then I also wish your country would die on the spot in the next game, that your country would perish directly in the national destiny." The Pursuer immediately retorted, their eyes meeting as if sparks were about to fly.

Then, the players passed it back.

"Don't get so angry, it's bad for your health." Wendy learned a set of health theories on Earth, which she used to preach to others quite well. Although the theory mentioned not drinking alcohol, Wendy simply ignored it. "I just can't stand him. Tch, he's clearly an ant, yet he has such a big mouth." The Pursuer still crossed his arms, incorrigible.

"We probably won't be drawn next. Thanks for your hard work. Do you want to listen to the bard's song when we get back? Or should we eat something good?" Wendy chuckled, earning Xiao's death stare.

"I want to hear too." Xiao hugged Wendy from behind, burying his face in Wendy's cloak.

(Damn it, after getting a Life-Bound Xiaoxiao, I pulled a Sona in 11 pulls. Four pulls and I got the wrong character! Can you please stop targeting me?)

Forget it, let Nimish come or not, the next target is Old Man Nimish anyway.

I'm asking for book recommendations every day; I'm probably the unluckiest author ever, sob sob.
