System 05 waited only two days before receiving a summons from the city lord. During those two days, Chen Mu had been staying at his house openly. Although they were both engaged in serious business, System 05 couldn't understand how Chen Mu had been able to enter his house so easily and even eat and sleep with him.
"You want to come with me?" When System 05 got on the carriage, he looked at Chen Mu who followed behind and sat down, and asked.
"I'm going back to the Ross Palace because it's my duty," said Chen Mu.
Is it really okay for you to stay away from home for the next two days? System 05 wondered. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. The courtyard is open, but there are not many green plants and flowers like in the Holy City. Under the strong sunlight, it looks very quiet and depressing.
System 05 and Chen Mu were led into a small room where the City Lord was already waiting. System 05 entered, seeing a middle-aged man in formal attire sitting at a round table, his head bent over something. Hearing the noise, he raised his head, revealing a delicate, calm face. His expression was gentle, his gaze firm, and he wore a faint, almost faint smile. The fine lines and traces of time on his face made him appear even more stable and reliable.
"Senior Investigator Weber, please take a seat." He stood up and pointed to the seat next to him.
The city lord gives the impression of being very gentle and friendly at first sight, but System 05 knows that this is just his superficial disguise. The city lord has been the lord of the holy city since he was a teenager. He has gone through twenty-seven years and has experienced many ups and downs, but he has always stood firm.
System 05 sat down, and Chen Mu also found a random seat. The city lord acted as if he didn't see him, and didn't say hello or pay any attention to him.
"Thank you for your hard work investigating the castle. The Director said you wanted to tell me personally about the Lord of the Avengers."
System 05 nodded and said, "The Avenger Lord is now extremely powerful. This is his fifth resurrection. He had already awakened ten years ago and is just waiting for the best time. Perhaps it will come in a week, or perhaps tomorrow."
The city lord lowered his eyes, motionless. It was obvious that he was deep in thought. After a moment, he asked, "Do you have any ideas, Weber?"
System 05 said bluntly: "City Lord, I think we should take everyone in the city and flee together."

System 05 retracted its head and ran away.
Halfway through his journey, he suddenly wanted to go to the Investigation Bureau to check out the situation, so he turned around and went there. When he entered, he found it was in a mess. System 05 asked an employee at random, and the employee said that the director had taken sick leave two days ago and had not been seen since. No one else could contact him, and many things were left unfinished.
System 05 was stunned. He went to the director's office and saw that the black bird at the door had disappeared. All the personal belongings inside had been taken away. The director was not on sick leave, he had run away!
System 05 calculated the time, which meant that he had just brought back the news about the Avengers, and the director disappeared the next day.
He walked to his desk and opened the drawer to see if there was any clue. He unexpectedly found a note. He opened it and saw that it was written specifically for him:
"It will be too late to run once a fight breaks out, Weber. You are a responsible person, but there is no need to commit suicide. For the sake of our past friendship, I advise you to find a way to survive as soon as possible."

Beside the desk was a seal imbued with a special magic that only the Director could use. System 05 sat down at the desk, picked up the seal, and tested it on a piece of paper. A flash of light flashed, leaving a clear mark.

System 05: “…”
In an instant, the flustered employees stopped in their tracks and started walking towards the office, carrying various documents. The fastest runner was a young man. He pushed a document in front of System 05 and said, "Director, please stamp it quickly. The previous director has already reviewed this document and it's urgently needed."
System 05 stared at him: "...Aren't you surprised?"
The employee said, "The previous director already said that if he's gone, you'll be the new director."
The director of the Investigation Bureau has special powers and can directly appoint the next director. He only needs to inform the city lord.
System 05, do I have the right to refuse?
The employee pressed him again. System 05 took a closer look and saw it was a payroll form. No wonder he was so anxious. He looked fine and stamped it. Then the next employee arrived. "Hello, can I come in?" he asked, standing in the study.
System 05 said expressionlessly, "No, you can leave now."
Chen Mu smiled slightly, looked at the painting on the table, and asked, "Are you drawing the floor plan of the Holy City?"
Shameless people are invincible. Chen Mu is shameless. What can a small system do to him? System 05 sat down and said, "Yes, I discovered something. The overall shape of the Holy City is a very standard hexagon, and the Endless Water Source Array is located in the center of the Holy City."
"Have you come up with any ideas?"
