Chapter 15 Dark Night (Part 2)

In the open space in front of the stable, Livia patted the black horse's neck and said, "Since you have an appearance as dark as night, how about calling you Dark Night?"

The black horse seemed to understand what was said. It pushed its head into his chest and licked his cheek with its tongue.

Livia felt the wetness on her face and smiled happily, stroking An Ye's head with her other hand.

"Okay, okay, then you will follow me from now on. Just like what I just said, I hope you will be darker than the night and faster than the wind."

Looking at the intimate people and horses in front of him, Delong smiled. He stretched out his hand and hugged the neck of the brown horse that had walked to his side without knowing when, and said with some sigh: "Liefeng, do you think they look like us back then?"

The brown horse snorted and nudged Delon's chest, then stood there with Delon, watching Livia and Dark Night playing in front of them, as if they were both lost in memories...

After a while...

A soldier came over with two sets of horse harnesses and stood in front of Delong, "Lord Delong, the horse harnesses are here."

Delong came back to his senses, nodded, loosened his hand around Liefeng's neck, took over a set of horse harness, and shouted to Livia: "Livia, it's getting late, we should set off."

Livia stopped playing with An Ye and looked at Delon. Seeing the harness in his hand, she turned around and looked at An Ye's horse back. Suddenly she remembered something. Although she had ridden a horse and participated in horse battles in the memories instilled by the system, she... didn't seem to know how to put on the harness.

Looking at Livia, whose face looked a little wrong, Deron half-jokingly said, “What?

You still can’t ride a horse, right?”

"No...it's just...I just don't know how to install the saddle..." Livia put her hand on Anye's back awkwardly and finally managed to utter a few words.

Delong laughed when he heard this, "I didn't expect you don't know how to do this, so have you only ever ridden horses before?

..." Livia looked at Delong helplessly and smiled.

Delong smiled and looked at the embarrassed Livia, closed his mouth, restrained his smile, coughed, and his expression became serious: "Actually, this is very simple, just follow me."

After that, Delon began to demonstrate. Livia took the harness from the soldier and imitated Delon to put the harness on the Dark Night Suit.

A moment later, both horses were equipped with harnesses, mainly saddles.

"It's getting late. We have to speed up."

Delon patted Livia, jumped onto the horse, grabbed the reins, gently squeezed the horse's belly, and the Liefeng under the horse ran out of the castle, "Don't lose me."

Livia looked at the figure that was almost at the castle gate, walked to the side of An Ye, supported the saddle with her right hand, stepped on the stirrup to get on the horse's back, and tapped the horse's belly with her calf, "An Ye, let's run faster, don't let others underestimate us."

Hearing this, An Ye neighed and ran quickly to chase the figure in front...

Livia felt the rhythm of the horse and the sound of the wind in his ears, and quickly mastered the riding skills instilled in his memory. After a while, he felt that he was riding well and gradually increased his speed to catch up with Delon in front. Delon watched Livia catch up and gradually slowed down, and said in surprise: "Wow, not bad.

But there is a street ahead, so we can’t go so fast.

I didn't have enough fun this time. I will definitely run with you on the Kern Prairie that day to see who is faster."

"Then let's make an appointment. We will have a run on the grassland when we have time. This time, you ran first. Both An Ye and I are a little dissatisfied."

Livia looked at Delon and smiled, patting the horse's back, and An Ye snorted in response.

With a burst of laughter, the two gradually slowed down and walked into the street full of vendors...

After a while, the two men walked to the end of the street, passed the corner of the street, and came to the front of a shop. Delong tightened the reins, stopped Liefeng, turned over and got off the horse and walked to the door of the shop.

Livia slowed down and turned over, patted Dark Night's horse's back to let it wait there, then followed Delon to the shop.

When he arrived in front of the store, a bright light flashed out from inside the store. Delong's body tensed up suddenly after the sudden attack, but the next moment he seemed to recognize something, "Good!"

He shouted excitedly and ran towards the light. He stretched out his right arm forward and intercepted the light in mid-air along with the black light. With a "ping" sound, an arrow broke and fell to the ground.

Livia had just drawn out her steel sword when she saw Delon waving at her, signaling her to put away her weapon.

Although she was a little puzzled, since Delon said that everything was fine, Livia put the steel sword back into the scabbard. Then Delon clapped his hands and shouted into the store: "Diego, why are you back?"

A knight wearing black armor and a dark grey hooded cape walked out of the store. He handed the short bow in his hand to the knight following behind him and took off his helmet, revealing a blond head and a tough male face. The knight named Diego looked at Delong and the other man and raised his eyebrows: "What, you still don't allow me to come back?"

Delon smiled and walked forward and punched the blond man in the chest, "No way, I'm so happy, have you completed your mission?"

The blond man nodded, looked at Livia behind Delon, and asked, "Who is this?"

Delon patted the back of his head and pulled Livia forward, "I forgot to introduce you to each other. This is Livia Kael Morhen from an ancient family, and this blond knight is my deputy leader Diego Carlo."

Diego punched Delong's chest and said angrily, "What do you mean by your deputy leader?"

Then he bowed to Livia with a serious face and said, "I am Diego Carlo, the vice-captain of the Shadow Leopard Knights. Welcome to Kovagr, Your Excellency Livia."

Livia bowed to Diego earnestly in return. Deron muttered in dissatisfaction beside him, "You guys always like to do these nonsense things."

Diego looked at Deron helplessly, "This is the most basic etiquette. Hey, you."

Delong pushed Diego into the store indifferently, "Okay, stop nagging as soon as you get back. Let's quickly check if there is anything inside that the patrol soldiers haven't discovered."

Livia looked at the two of them with some envy. The brotherly relationship between them was something she and her roommates had never had before in the university dormitory. After all, her roommates who had just started to enter society had their edges smoothed out by society, and had become more smooth in their dealings with others, saying different things to different people.

Basically, I have been single all along. Apart from my parents who might worry and care about me, I have no other brothers or friends. Otherwise, I would not have been playing games alone in the dormitory before traveling through time.

Alas, lamenting his past life self, he couldn't help but feel a little envious of the relationship between the two people in front of him.

Just as Livia was reminiscing about his past life, Delon saw that he hadn't come in for a long time, so he stood in the shop and shouted to Livia, "Livia, come in quickly, why are you staying outside? Diego's men will watch over Liefeng and your Shadow."

“Here I come.”

Livia woke up from the memories of her previous life, as if she had thought of something, and smiled and responded as she strode into the store...
