"What's this?" Chu Xun asked, puzzled, after hearing the commotion at the educated youth settlement.
Li Xiyue laughed and said, "A few new educated youths have arrived, and they're making a ruckus every day."

Chu Xun was amused and burst into laughter, holding her as if she were a rare treasure, he loved her very much.
Li Muqing was fetching water in the yard when she heard a man's hearty laughter coming from next door. She was puzzled. Why would a man be laughing and talking next door so late?
