Chapter 164: All Human Traffickers' Dens Busted (1/2)

"I will not hand the child over to you." Li Xiyue held the child in one arm, and a silver needle appeared in her other hand.

"You're asking for death!" the scarred man behind her shouted, gripping his dagger and lunging at Li Xiyue.

Li Xiyue easily dodged the attack while simultaneously thrusting the silver needle in her hand forward.

The scarred man froze, the dagger falling from his hand to the ground. His eyes widened. "What did you do to me?"

The middle-aged woman was also stunned. Then, as if remembering something, she said, "It's a needle! She said she was a doctor!"

"Go! What are you waiting for?" the scarred man shouted at the middle-aged woman.

The middle-aged woman picked up a dagger and attacked Li Xiyue, but Li Xiyue seized the opportunity and kicked her away.

The dagger was thrown out, and the middle-aged woman realized that her opponent knew kung fu. Knowing that she was no match for him, she turned to run, but after only two steps, she was kicked back with great force, fell to the ground, curled up in a ball, and her face turned white.

Li Xiyue looked over and saw the tall and imposing figure appear. She immediately smiled and said, "A-Xun."

She remembered that their first meeting was like this: that time, he helped her catch enemy agents; this time, he was helping her catch human traffickers.

Chu Xun always appeared just when she needed help the most.

"Are you alright?" Chu Xun asked anxiously.

Li Xiyue shook her head, "I'm fine, they're human traffickers, arrest them quickly!"

The two human traffickers were arrested by the railway police. Li Xiyue discovered that the child had been drugged. She treated him first before returning him to his family.

"Thank you, thank you for saving our child!" A young couple knelt down before Li Xiyue and Chu Xun.

Li Xiyue helped them up and said, "You must be careful when you're out and about, and never let your child out of your sight."

“I get carsick, so I felt terrible. My husband went to buy me medicine, and I only dozed off for a little while before the baby was lost.” The mother was filled with remorse. “If the baby had really been lost, I wouldn’t be able to live.”

The child's father slapped himself twice, saying, "I should have kept the child with me..."

"Alright, the child has been found. Just be more careful from now on and don't blame yourselves anymore," Li Xiyue comforted her.

She knew what losing a child meant to parents; a child is the lifeblood of a family, and if the child is lost, the family falls apart.

Many parents who have lost their children spend their entire lives searching for them, never finding relief.

"Damn human traffickers!" Li Xiyue grew angrier the more she thought about it, wishing that all human traffickers in the world would disappear!

Human traffickers exploit loopholes in the law; even if they are caught, they are not sentenced to death, which is why they keep emerging.

In her opinion, human traffickers deserve to die and don't deserve to live in this world!

Chu Xun held her hand. "I'll follow up on this matter in the next few days and see if I can find the human traffickers' hideout through those two people."

"Okay." Li Xiyue finally smiled.

After discovering the child abduction, the train attendants and railway police increased patrols and made announcements over the loudspeaker. As a result, no more children went missing during the journey.

With Chu Xun joining the interrogation, they indeed obtained a lot of useful clues from the two human traffickers. Following these clues, the police investigated and successfully dismantled the human traffickers' hideout.

Human traffickers mostly operate in gangs, with each location connected to the others. This leads to the uncovering of other locations as well.

The den was raided, all the human traffickers were arrested, and the police interrogated them day and night, eventually bringing back all the children they had abducted.
