Chu Xun tightened his grip on Li Xiyue's hand and said gently, "Dinner's ready, let's go eat."
"Okay." Li Xiyue smiled back and walked away with him.
Ye Tian stared at Chu Xun's figure and smiled, "He really is in the way."
It was quite late when they left the Xie family. After returning to the Chu family, everyone washed up and went to bed, and the night passed without incident.
The next morning, Li Xiyue woke up and saw Chu Xun sitting by her bedside, looking rather unwell.
"Ah Xun, what's wrong?"
Chu Xun sighed, "I received a temporary assignment and have to leave for a few days. I won't be able to stay with you."
