"Little tiger, little tiger, little tiger..."
A repeated female voice woke Li Xiyue from her slumber. She opened her eyes and saw a tiger doll covered in pudding hanging above her.
As she regained consciousness, she sat up abruptly and turned her head to see a disheveled woman sitting beside the bed. She recognized her as Comrade Lin, whom she had met on the road earlier.
"Little Tiger, she's awake! We can play together now!" Comrade Lin jumped up and cheered in the room.
Li Xiyue found herself in an unfamiliar room, which was very clean and tidy, and decorated in a simple and elegant style.
She threw off the covers and got out of bed. "Comrade Lin, where is this?"
"Inside the house, play with the little tiger." Comrade Lin ran over, came close to her, stared at her face with his dark eyes, and then gave her a simple and innocent smile. "You're pretty, I like you."
Li Xiyue took her hand, taking her pulse while examining her appearance, "How old are you?"
"I'm six years old! I'm the same age as the little tiger! We're both six years old!" Comrade Lin shook off her hand and bounced around the room with the doll in her arms.
Li Xiyue frowned. Her pulse was steady, and she was in perfect health with no illness. Why would she be so crazy?
Moreover, upon closer inspection, her appearance is very familiar, very similar...
"Xiyue, are you awake?" A knock on the door, accompanied by a familiar voice, interrupted Li Xiyue's thoughts.
Li Xiyue walked over and opened the door. A gentle and refined man stood outside, his face still bearing a kind and harmless smile.
"Third Brother? Where is this? How did I get here? Where is Xu Xiangyang? Something happened to the Chu family, something happened to A-Xun, is it true?"
She bombarded him with a barrage of questions, and Ye Tian reassured her, "Don't rush, let's go inside and talk."
He carried a food box into the house, and Comrade Lin immediately ran over, grabbed his arm and shook it, looking very happy. "It's so much fun! The little tiger is happy, and I'm happy too."
Ye Tian smoothed her hair, his tone unusually gentle, "Why aren't you wearing braids again?"
"I don't like it." Comrade Lin pouted and shook his head.
Ye Tian said indulgently, "Okay, if you don't like it, then don't comb it."
"Third Brother," Li Xiyue walked over, "she wouldn't happen to be your girlfriend, would she?"
Ye Tian nodded with a smile, "Yes, I promised you that I would introduce you to her when you came back. And here you are, as soon as you returned to the capital, I arranged for you to meet."
"Did you have Xu Xiangyang drug me?" Li Xiyue asked.
Ye Tian didn't answer, but said to Comrade Lin, "The little tiger is hungry. Take it to eat something, and it can come back to play later."
"Okay, okay." Comrade Lin smiled and waved to Li Xiyue, then walked away with the people at the door.
Ye Tian carried the food box to the table, still as gentle as ever, "Sit down and eat something first, then I'll talk to you slowly."
Looking at the food on the table, Li Xiyue thought of Xu Xiangyang's tampering with the water, and dared not eat his food. She asked, "What happened to the Chu family and A-Xun? Is it related to you?"
Ye Tian smiled but didn't answer. "Eat something first."
"I won't eat it unless you tell me," Li Xiyue said coldly.
Ye Tian sighed and admitted, "I did it."
"So, you conspired with Xu Xiangyang to harm A Xun and the Chu family for your partner?" Li Xiyue asked again, "Was my grandfather also kidnapped by you?"
Ye Tian chuckled, "You're really smart."
"When did you and Xu Xiangyang start colluding together?"
