"Ge Zhitian, come in," Chen Qinghe called out to the door.
A short man in his forties walked in, holding an envelope in his hand.
When Chen Yun saw him, his heart sank.
“Dean Chen, last weekend Director Chen gave me two hundred yuan and asked me to tamper with the medicine that Director Li was developing. I thought about it over and over again. This is harmful to people and illegal. I can’t do it. I haven’t touched a single penny of the two hundred yuan.”
Chen Yun was so angry he almost vomited blood. "Ge Zhitian, are you crazy?!"
He took her money, didn't do anything for her, and then exposed her. Has he lost his mind?
"Director Chen, I can't help you harm people, my conscience wouldn't allow it," Ge Zhitian said, glancing at Li Xiyue.

"Shut up, shut up, shut up!" Chen Qinghe said "shut up" three times in a row, then got up and quickly came to her, slapping her hard across the face. "What did I tell you? How dare you mention him!"
Chen Yun covered her face in disbelief. Her father had actually hit her?
Over the years, her father had never hit her, but this time he hit her because of Li Xiyue, an outsider?
Is this still the same loving father who doted on her?
"Dad, you'd rather help outsiders than me?" Chen Yun said with resentment. "I'm your daughter!"
Looking at his daughter who showed no remorse whatsoever, Chen Qinghe was utterly disappointed. "Your mother and I are both people who can distinguish right from wrong. How could we have given birth to such a foolish daughter? I really doubt whether you are even my daughter."
He was such a failure, raising such a child. If his wife knew this in the afterlife, she would surely blame him. He had let his wife down.
Chen Yun was startled, and the words he was about to say got stuck in his throat.
"Dad, Chen Yun is definitely not your daughter!"
Just then, Guan Xuefei's voice rang out from the doorway. Li Xiyue glanced at her watch; good, he had arrived just in time.
Guan Xuefei walked in from the door, and Chen Yun was so shocked that he took a step back, his face turning visibly pale.
Chen Qinghe asked in surprise, "Xuefei, what did you say?"
Guan Xuefei first glanced at Li Xiyue, then looked at Chen Yun, "Dad, Chen Yun is not actually your daughter, she is Zhang Ma's daughter. Back then, Zhang Ma switched your daughter with her own."
Chen Qinghe was struck dumb. How could this be?
Chen Yun stared at Guan Xuefei in disbelief. After a long while, she came to her senses, rushed over, grabbed his arm, and angrily asked, "Guan Xuefei, are you crazy?"

Chen Qinghe staggered up to Chen Yun, his eyes red, and asked, "Is what Xuefei said true?"
"No, Dad, I really am your daughter. Guan Xuefei is talking nonsense. Don't believe him." Chen Yun shook her head and denied it.
She absolutely could not accept it; she absolutely could not lose everything she had.
