Chapter 2

Chapter 2

**

Let me write about the proposal on the 17th first. It just happened, it’s fresh, and the memory is the most vivid.

In fact, I knew a long time ago that Brother Liu would propose on this day, because he had prepared the diamond ring long ago, and the marriage certificate was scheduled for November 19th, so the time he had to prepare was very limited. I also vaguely felt that he had been up to something recently, so I didn't expose him.

Although knowing the day of the proposal will make it less of a surprise, I am still looking forward to it because I don’t know what form it will take.

For example, when we went to order wedding photos together last week, Brother 6 was constantly sending WeChat messages back and forth with his younger brother Pangzi, who is one year younger than him. Usually he would show me what interesting things they were chatting about, but that day he was acting very sneaky and refused to show me.

For example, we agreed to take marriage registration photos yesterday morning, and when I asked him what he was going to do after the photos, he said stealthily that he was going home and would pick me up in the evening.

For example, he often says to me proudly these days, baby, stay tuned.

For example, I noticed a WeChat group chat called "Proposal Team".

Speaking of marriage registration photos, it's also quite interesting. Who can believe we went to the photo studio to take them twice? The first time was last Tuesday night, the day a fan saw a photo of me in a white shirt and guessed it was the day we took the registration photos. As it turned out, both of us were exhausted that night, our faces were swollen, and our hair wasn't done right. Neither of us was satisfied with the results. Six said there was no room for ambiguity, as this only happens once in a lifetime, so we had to reshoot them. So, we had the reshoot on Saturday morning.

After the shoot, we had lunch together near my house. After Brother 6 sent me home, he smiled and waved at me, "Baby, see you at 6:30 then. I'm going to disappear for a few hours."

So I was very nervous the whole afternoon. During that time, I went to the photo studio to get my registration photo. When I held the photo with a red background, I looked at the smiles of myself and Brother 6 in the photo, wearing white shirts, and for some reason I felt a sense of special peace in my heart.

In fact, as a young girl (?), although my wedding date is approaching, I have never had a real feeling about getting married. I feel that the change of identity from marrying someone else's wife to having a husband with whom I will truly live my whole life is very wonderful, especially when I see that Brother 6 is also going to become a married man, because he looks very fair and tender, like a college student. Now in the photo, he is smiling next to me with a mouthful of white teeth showing, and I feel really touched and funny.

In my father's words, both of them are still like children, and it is not easy for them to start a family.

Around 6:30, Brother 6 showed up downstairs at my house. We had a candlelight dinner first, then took a taxi to our next destination. When we got in, the driver mentioned the name of a hotel and asked if we were going there. I smirked and turned my head to glance at Brother 6, who then snorted proudly and said, "I don't know anything."

The sentence he said to me most often recently when facing my various speculations about a proposal was, "I know nothing."

When we got to the hotel, he took my hand and led me into the elevator. To be honest, I had been very nervous since we finished dinner, and I could feel that he was nervous too. We didn't speak all the way until we reached the 25th floor, and then he pulled me out of the elevator.

The walk from the elevator to the door of the room made us both more nervous. When we swiped the room card at the door, Brother 6 took a deep breath, turned around and smiled at me, and said, "Are you looking forward to it?"

I nodded immediately.

Then he pushed the door open, smiled and said, "Come in."

At first glance, I saw two whole rows of candles in the corridor, rose petals scattered on the ground, and a large cluster of balloons on the ground. I exclaimed "Wow" and was so surprised, and then I was really nervous and felt my heart beating wildly. Then he pulled me and slowly walked forward.

On the white wall on the left, there is a circle of hearts made of macaron-colored balloons, and in the middle of the heart is a heart made of printed photos of the two of us. On the right are balloons of various girlish colors, and there is an open notebook on the table. On the white wall in front, there is a balloon-shaped "Marry Me" and various balloons.

The most romantic thing is that there are many hydrogen balloons floating in the room, and my photos are pasted under each of the balloons.

When I walked to the coffee table and sofa, I saw "Yes, I do" spelled out with candles on the coffee table, and a heart made of candles on the small coffee table by the windowsill.

The whole room was very hot because of the many candles, and I felt very hot too.

My heart is hot, I am very nervous, and I am sweating all over.

Then I saw Brother 6 take off his coat, picked up a big bouquet of red roses and a ring on the sofa, smiled, and then knelt on one knee in front of me.

The roses were very heavy. He held the flowers, looked at me, and started talking.

Because my mind was almost blank at that time, it was really strange. I knew that I would be proposed to today, but when the moment really came, I was still very nervous. Because I was so nervous, I can't remember exactly what he said, so I can only try hard to recall.

"I'm really happy to have met you. Meeting you is the luckiest thing that has ever happened to me. I've always been very happy with you, and I hope we can continue to be happy like this in the future."

"I hope I can always protect you, love you, and make you happy. I will always treat you well."

"You are the most gentle, kind and lovely fairy in the world. I will love you forever."

"Baby, I love you, please marry me."

Brother Liu usually wears glasses, but today he wore contact lenses, which made his eyes look brighter. When he looked at me and said these words, his voice was already choked.

I originally thought that he might have rehearsed and memorized his lines before proposing, but I found that he was completely improvising on the spot, so much so that he stuttered the whole time and was almost crying while speaking.

But because of this, I feel even more moved.

Because I know that the person I like is like this. He has never been a boy who is good at sweet talk. Sometimes he even speaks very directly and doesn't beat around the bush. He is also not a very expressive person. You see that he is quite active on the Internet. In fact, he was very introverted and didn't like to talk a long time ago. He became more and more cheerful after being with me. More importantly, he is a man of action. He has always been a person who keeps love in his heart and does practical things silently.

In the year that I've been with him, this boy has never let me down once, because he's the type of person who doesn't easily promise me anything, but once he does, he'll definitely keep it, every time.

After being with him, I just wanted to be with him until the end.

Never thought about anyone else.

After he finished speaking, I also shed some tears, then nodded and said "I do".

Then he happily handed me the flowers, opened the diamond ring box, and helped me put it on the ring finger of my left hand.

Then he stood up and hugged me, saying, "The flowers are heavy, let me help you carry them." He then said like a little child, "You promised me, you promised to marry me, you will be my wife from now on!"

I hugged his back, which was covered in sweat. I laughed at him, and he said, "I'm too hot and too nervous."

I asked him why he didn't write a draft before proposing.

He said, "That wouldn't be sincere. I was thinking about what to say to you while proposing to you. Actually, I wanted to say something more, but I was too nervous to speak."

Later I asked him what he felt when he proposed to me.

He said, "I'm so nervous I just want you to marry me right away."

The funniest thing is, after proposing for the first time, I said, is there no audience to record such a sacred and beautiful moment for us?

Brother 6 said, "If they were here, I'd be even more nervous and wouldn't be able to perform well. I only want you to hear these words."

Then I said that such a beautiful scene must be recorded. Brother 6 had no choice but to call back Fatty who had come to help with the decoration in the afternoon. Fatty took up the task and filmed the proposal video for us again after he came.

The second proposal was a bit more formulaic, but still quite interesting. After Brother 6 said he would marry me, I simply said "yes". Brother 6 ranted, "What do you mean by yes? You should say I do! Yes I do!"

It was so funny that I laughed several times while watching the video.

After the proposal, I didn't expect Brother Six to even design a meaningful moment. He pulled me over to the notebook spread out next to the balloon and said, "This notebook is the memoir you wrote for me on our six-month anniversary. Now that our relationship has opened a new chapter, let's write down what we want to say to each other today and sign our names, okay? This represents the beginning of a new journey in our lives."

I thought about it and wrote down, today Sangsang is marrying 66 Gugu!

Then he wrote below, [66 Gugu is getting married today! 6 Gu will love Sangbao forever!]

After they finished writing and signed their names, they smiled like two little kids.

After finishing my things, I went to the bathroom to help him remove his makeup, and then I accidentally called him "husband". He didn't say anything at first, but then he suddenly picked me up, spun me around twice, and said in my ear with a very happy smile, "I love hearing you call me that."

At that moment, I felt really happy.
